Recap

• The Party Enters the Blue Water Inn
  • 2Feet (Steph) chats with Urwin the bar tender while buying food for the children and learns that the wine that normally comes from the west has not arrived in a few weeks, and their wine supply is running low.
  • Bones (Ben) notices the Ravens outside the building seem to be paying especial close attention to the party.
  • Bones (Ben) spoke with Rictavio about his tiger, monkey and other things in his traveling carnival. When they mentioned the work for the church his demeanor changed and he was very interested in where they came from, and what they were doing. He gave a warning to the party "So not seek shelter in the house of the pine-carver. The nests in his attack do not hold songbirds. They hold six starving crows waiting for the theater doors to close"
  • Eli (Isaac) talks with two drunken men throwing darts at a crude drawing of the Baron. The open mocked his be happy rules, and said the town would be better if the Watchers Ruled the city.
  • The party also over heard two local wolf hunters who mentioned that it looks like the local wolves have a new alpha who is changing the packs behavior.
• The party returns to St. Andral's Church
  • Discussing the wine shortage Father Lucian Petrovich informs them that if true it would be very dire.
  • Eli (Isaac) eats one more of his Dream Pie's purchased from Granny. It tastes even better than he remembered. He couldn't get enough of it, and lost focus in everything else around him other than the delicious pie.
  • Talking with the children when getting close to Milivoj he bolted.
• The party (save Bones (Ben) who was staying with the children) gave chase getting led to the coffin makers house.
  • Inside they met Henrik the coffin maker, who initially defiant suddenly changes his tune when he saw the party was adventurers. Dejected and sullen he points the party upstairs and says what they seek is up there.
  • The party goes upstairs and was ambushed by 6 vampire spawn.
  • While the party engages two of the vampire spawn the other 4 passed them and make for the coffin keepers room where they ransack it grabbing the bones of St. Andral.
  • After narrowly defeating the two spawn Bones (Ben) makes it to the fight healing the wounded party members and helping the party track the fleeing spawn.
  • Managing to track them picking them off one by one the last of the spawn escape into a Mansion at the north of town.
  • Greeting the party at the door was Lady Fiona Wachter who was defiant that no vampire spawn was at her house and they must be mistake, if they didn't leave she would have them arrested for harassment.
• The party learns from the coffin maker that the vampire spawn visited him a week ago and forced him to get the bones. He enlisted Milivoj to steal them once he learned of their location.
• Telling Father Lucian Petrovich that the bones are in the Wachterhouse he says "God helps up, she openly speaks of the devil strahd as our rightful lord. If those faul creatures fled to her estate they did so because they knew they would find sanctuary behind her gates." He urged the party to act fast as the church remains unprotected while the bones are in her possession.
• The party takes a short rest in preparation for getting the bones back.
