- Bones (Ben): So for session six, we ran into Irwin, who I think is the bar keep.
- Bones (Ben): And his stocks of wine are really low.
- Bones (Ben): And two weeks ago, the road west has been silent from the road west, where he gets most of his wine.
- Bones (Ben): We were told that Ravens are eavesdropping, so please be mindful.
- Bones (Ben): The baron equals a face on the dartboard.
- Bones (Ben): So I guess the people don't like the baron so much.
- Bones (Ben): If you remember, he was telling us to keep the peace, smile all the time.
- Bones (Ben): Does, you know, happiness boards off on Stroud.
- Bones (Ben): Who are the watchers?
- Bones (Ben): Oh, yeah, that's right.
- Bones (Ben): There's a group of the watchers who helped enforce the barons will, you know, keep the peace in the city.
- Bones (Ben): No, not the barons well.
- Bones (Ben): These are a separate group of people.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, the watchtors are... Watchters.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, it's the last name.
- Will (Nat): They were the house that, if you remember, we ran towards...
- Will (Nat): where the vampire spawn, the last remaining surviving vampire spawn, kind of ran in.
- Will (Nat): So there was Lady watched her, was the house, and she's the one who, when you said, hey, that there's a, the vampire spawn side there, she yelled and said, like, how dare you outside her, et cetera.
- Will (Nat): So Lady watched her.
- Bones (Ben): Okay, and then we met Rictavio.
- Bones (Ben): He's an half Elf Bart, who is the Carney Reamaster, who seems to be...
- Bones (Ben): more or less from where we are, not from the same dimension we're from, but same thing, they came from a world and they're now stuck in Borovia.
- 2Feet (Steph): We also learned that it was kind of taking the idea of the person in adding it into his own story.
- Bones (Ben): He has a monkey with a toy maker, purple mash number three, I think was the drink he really liked, and pine carver, avoid crows, question mark, so I'm assuming
- Bones (Ben): We want to stay away from the fine carver.
- Bones (Ben): It took really bad notes.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): So, I think you're missing your last session notes.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, that was session.
- Bones (Ben): We did session seven already?
- Bones (Ben): We did session eight, too.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, gosh.
- Will (Nat): I had missing them so long.
- Will (Nat): So you might have handed them to me to track things.
- Will (Nat): I might not have given them back.
- Will (Nat): I'll see if I can find them.
- Will (Nat): But, so if you remember, you then went to the church, right?
- Will (Nat): You found about the missing bones.
- Will (Nat): You scared the crap out of the children because you said that the bones were missing and they were terrified.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Was this the scarecobes last time?
- Will (Nat): No.
- Will (Nat): This was, then we went to the pine carvers, aka the coffin maker's house.
- Will (Nat): And there was the battle that ensued inside there against the vampire spawn.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, the diamond and a demon circle in his back room didn't.
- Bones (Ben): We would have found out he was doing other shady stuff, but that's the shady stuff that we were searching.
- Will (Nat): I don't think so.
- Will (Nat): I think there was just the coffin maker's regular house.
- Will (Nat): There was upstairs.
- Will (Nat): It was the... Yeah, so it looked like this.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, yeah, not the same house.
- Bones (Ben): That was right.
- Bones (Ben): We had the fight with me.
- Bones (Ben): I was thinking of the dock.
- Bones (Ben): The dock fight.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): They brought to Lady Watchters.
- Will (Nat): You chased to Lady Watcher's house through the streets.
- Will (Nat): You then tried to enter Lady Watcher's house, which she rebuked and said that there was no way that there was undead in her house, and she kind of accused you of being meddling outsiders and like.
- Will (Nat): You then went back to the church, to St. Andrews Church, and informed the father there, Lucian, about it.
- Will (Nat): And he had said, Lady Watcher has them, and we're all doomed effectively.
- Will (Nat): And then he informed you that she's no friend of the barons, and the baron is his brother-in-law.
- Will (Nat): and would very much like to probably know about this and may be able to help out.
- Will (Nat): And that's where we had left.
- Will (Nat): Isaac did eat one of the pies that he had before.
- Will (Nat): He said it was very, very, very good.
- 2Feet (Steph): 10 out of 10, 10.
- Will (Nat): Yep.
- Will (Nat): And you guys have not gone to sleep yet.
- Will (Nat): It is not.
- Will (Nat): Evening, evening, but it is getting towards...
- Will (Nat): It's like 6.30.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, yeah.
- Will (Nat): It's getting towards the end of the day.
- Will (Nat): So, we've got a couple of different options that are here before us.
- Will (Nat): So the first thing that we can do is follow Father Lucian's suggestion and go to the Barrett, excuse me, and inform him that Lady Washington may be doing something less than...
- Will (Nat): I'm not friendly.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, some becoming...
- Will (Nat): The other thing is to sneak into the house and try and steal the bones back, leveraging Eli's cap of vanishing.
- Will (Nat): Or the third option is to do both.
- Will (Nat): Go to the baron to try and get an advantage for a distraction or something to aid in the subterfuge of breaking into the watch their house.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'd say that.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm just like, what if we did something where we did thaumaturgy, we make something that would make, what time again?
- 2Feet (Steph): Evil Face Lady, go outside to do something, and we could sneak in.
- 2Feet (Steph): We could sneak in.
- 2Feet (Steph): and be a nose.
- 2Feet (Steph): Or I could do it because I have a capital.
- Eli (Isaac): So you're suggesting me to sneak in and steal the bones back?
- Eli (Isaac): You sell?
- Eli (Isaac): Aye.
- Eli (Isaac): I think this is a decent thing.
- Will (Nat): I think it's great.
- Will (Nat): So now the problem with using thematurgy here is if you cast that spell, that's an action that would be casting a spell, which would then remove your invisibility from it.
- 2Feet (Steph): So I think they would see you, make the light, and then go.
- Will (Nat): and then vanish out.
- Will (Nat): So I think the idea, though, of causing a distraction, so this way that you, having already dawned upon the cap of vanishing, can go in, I think is a great idea.
- Eli (Isaac): Nope.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): So is the goal here, so do you think is it going to do we should try and steal the bones back?
- Eli (Isaac): Yes.
- Bones (Ben): Yes, especially...
- Bones (Ben): Given the fact we haven't slept yet, I think having the bones with us tonight specifically is going to be very useful for us.
- Eli (Isaac): Don't be a smile.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): So how about, so it's the goal to get them to come outside because what we can do is I could like create a drunken row kind of like actually all overruling and try to come in again, getting her to come outside and yell at me again.
- Eli (Isaac): Hopefully at that point if I can draw her out just a little bit, then you could sneak behind her.
- Eli (Isaac): Is that what we're thinking?
- Bones (Ben): I'm going to know, I feel like I need to pass something on to Isaac to help him out.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, no.
- Will (Nat): So remember, we're in the church right now.
- Will (Nat): And Father Lucian did suggest going and talking to the baron to use that as an effort to cause a distraction from inside.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, that's a good idea.
- 2Feet (Steph): Wait, I have the idea that can do that and more to make, to sell it.
- 2Feet (Steph): We could do, and make a few terms like, there's a phthalmatory brief.
- 2Feet (Steph): I really want to talk about.
- 2Feet (Steph): We make harmless, um,
- 2Feet (Steph): Harmless tremors in the ground.
- 2Feet (Steph): So it makes it, and then he comes inside, I've been knocking on every door, there's a minor earthquake happening to get outside.
- Eli (Isaac): That's a really good deal.
- 2Feet (Steph): And then we can come in since we're harmless and won't like knock stuff over, we can sneak in?
- 2Feet (Steph): And then, yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): So can I make a deal with you?
- Eli (Isaac): We will make sure you use thematurgy at some point this session.
- Eli (Isaac): Maybe not a bit, we may do it in that way, but first, let's talk to the variant first.
- Eli (Isaac): But I think that as a plan.
- Eli (Isaac): Like, we could do that.
- Eli (Isaac): I could run up and be like, like, guys, we've been trying to evacuate.
- Eli (Isaac): Evacuate.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): But that's going to require us to have a good acting and deception and everything that.
- Eli (Isaac): So let's talk to the Baron first.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Making our way downtown.
- Will (Nat): So, if we look at the map, we are at the St. Andrews Cathedral, which is, yep, that one right over there.
- Will (Nat): The Baron's Manor,
- Will (Nat): is... My mind's going to be right here.
- Will (Nat): Next big house.
- Will (Nat): Is it going to be... No.
- Will (Nat): So you see where, like... Yeah, that one right there.
- Bones (Ben): The red buildings are important.
- Will (Nat): The red buildings are important buildings.
- Will (Nat): That's correct.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So, as you're walking down towards the road, keeping an eye on, you see guards, looking around at everybody, you hear the phrase,
- Will (Nat): All will be well many, many times, kind of coming through.
- Will (Nat): As you get towards the Baron's manner, if you just want to describe it.
- 2Feet (Steph): I would like to say, can I say something real quick?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yes.
- 2Feet (Steph): As you were walking down, I am taking off the posters on the wall.
- 2Feet (Steph): Because I think there might be like, I'm just trying to take them off just to further investigate this.
- Will (Nat): The festival of the sun?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): You're grabbing each of them, or you just grab one and are reading it?
- 2Feet (Steph): I grab one and I'm reading it.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Do me a sleight of hand check.
- 2Feet (Steph): Well, okay.
- Bones (Ben): Because remember, they're advertising that.
- Bones (Ben): They want people to show up.
- Bones (Ben): And there's the... And there's the... Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Plus eight.
- 2Feet (Steph): So plus eight, so plus seven, sorry, so I have to eight.
- 2Feet (Steph): It's in that one, but... Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): It's in that one.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): So I have an eight.
- Will (Nat): So you try and peel off...
- Will (Nat): the poster and it is like glued on there.
- Will (Nat): Like it might as well be painted on the wall.
- Will (Nat): It is not a poster.
- Will (Nat): It just does not come off.
- 2Feet (Steph): I would like to try to get another one.
- Will (Nat): You try.
- Will (Nat): You can't get them off.
- Will (Nat): You have tried.
- Will (Nat): You can't do it.
- Will (Nat): You have the action.
- Will (Nat): You do have one.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): You already have one to begin with though.
- Will (Nat): Yep.
- Eli (Isaac): So that's the one we had before.
- Bones (Ben): Yep.
- Bones (Ben): Good.
- Bones (Ben): All right.
- Bones (Ben): It hasn't come off this building for over 200 years.
- Will (Nat): All right.
- Will (Nat): So as you get to the mansion has walls plastered with stone that display.
- Will (Nat): Many scars where the plaster has fallen away from age and neglect.
- Will (Nat): Drapes cover every window, including a large arch above the mansion's double entrance.
- Will (Nat): As you walk up to it, you see two men...
- Will (Nat): Two men kind of a one inside the building, one on the outside kind of discussing.
- Will (Nat): You can see that the one man hands the man on the inside a something.
- Will (Nat): Everyone give me a perception check.
- Eli (Isaac): How is that?
- Bones (Ben): Eleven.
- Bones (Ben): I got it.
- 2Feet (Steph): Fifteen.
- Will (Nat): I told it 17, but 19.
- Will (Nat): All right.
- Will (Nat): You recognize it as a little doll that looks very, very, very familiar with all right hair and just like a girl, just a doll.
- Will (Nat): It's a little doll.
- Will (Nat): And you see, this is the man who's handing the doll over the doll over.
- Will (Nat): to this man.
- Will (Nat): Things that you notice about this man is his one arm, the arm that received the doll is monstrous.
- Will (Nat): It is huge, it is spiky, it looks demonic, but as he grabs the doll with it, you can see he holds it tenderly, as if this was something that was like a cherished, a cherished item.
- Will (Nat): Now, can I say my... You guys are... Let me finish...
- Will (Nat): As you guys are walking in, you hear the end of the conversation.
- Will (Nat): As requested, Master Isaac, precision, Auburn hair, another fine addition to your collection.
- Will (Nat): Remember, he's no fun.
- Will (Nat): Isno Blinsky.
- Will (Nat): And Isaac thanks him kindly for his thank you very much.
- Will (Nat): I appreciate the gift and takes the doll, like I said, gingerly, and puts it into his pocket.
- Will (Nat): Blinsky turns around.
- Will (Nat): and is walking past you, you notice on him, the nice little bonobo chimp, a little monkey that is on his shoulder who kind of chirps at you as he walks by, as he walks by, he tips his hat and says, good day to you all, and paps the little monkey on the head and continues down.
- Will (Nat): Okay, Isaac now goes inside the door and closes the door as you guys are walking up to the front door.
- Eli (Isaac): I just noticed that the last time I did it, I wrote Guardian with Halt, the durability that I have.
- Eli (Isaac): What is it?
- Eli (Isaac): Guardian with Halt.
- Eli (Isaac): It was my last one with my last upgrade in the previous one, which I had forgot that I had written that down.
- UNKNOWN: Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): But it's something that may be good.
- Eli (Isaac): So immediately after a creature within five feet or you take disengage action or hits a target, other than you within attack, I can use it to make an opportunity attack.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): I had to happen by now.
- Eli (Isaac): This is that.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): And then halt.
- Eli (Isaac): When I hit a creature with an opportunity attack, the creature's speed becomes zero for the rest of the turn.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, the current turn.
- Eli (Isaac): It's not like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): It's just if, so someone hits somebody else within five feet.
- Eli (Isaac): If monsters within 5 feet of me and they hit someone else, or they disengage with me, that doesn't happen.
- Eli (Isaac): But if they hit someone else, I can't opportunity attack.
- Bones (Ben): It's 5 feet or within your reach?
- Bones (Ben): No, instead within 5 feet.
- Bones (Ben): I was really hoping that I was within reach.
- Bones (Ben): I think you have some weapons I give you 10 feet of me.
- Eli (Isaac): Creature within 5 feet of me.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Got to be close to you.
- Eli (Isaac): But that happens anyway.
- Eli (Isaac): That's kind of what my character is.
- Eli (Isaac): Anyway, I just wanted to make sure we do that because that's important for actions.
- Eli (Isaac): Anyway, I apologize.
- Will (Nat): So now you're at the front door to the Baron, the Bergen Master's house.
- Bones (Ben): Isaac, you want to use saw the jersey just knock on the door?
- 2Feet (Steph): No, we're just unlocked, I can just be like, p. Okay.
- Bones (Ben): We're here.
- Bones (Ben): No, we're a happy guest.
- Bones (Ben): We're happy guests.
- Bones (Ben): Just knock on the door.
- Bones (Ben): Knock, knock on the door.
- Will (Nat): Okay, you knock on the door.
- Will (Nat): The door opens after, like, you know, a minute or two.
- Will (Nat): Isak, who you saw before talking at the front, opens the door and is standing before you and says, what is it outsiders?
- Will (Nat): What do you look?
- 2Feet (Steph): What's my... My charisma is low.
- Eli (Isaac): What's it?
- Eli (Isaac): My charisma is negative one, so I think you should do the talking, sir.
- Eli (Isaac): Was your charisma?
- Eli (Isaac): Trust me, well, I'm plus two.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, no, how am I the face?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): How am I the face?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): You don't need to roll.
- Bones (Ben): What do you?
- Bones (Ben): I'll tell you when you need to roll.
- Bones (Ben): We're just suggesting Utah.
- Bones (Ben): So, we would love to be able to have an audience with Lady Watchter.
- Bones (Ben): No, no, no, Lady Watcher is the other house.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, we're trying to get them.
- Will (Nat): to go over to Lady Watcher's house.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, we were informed that Lady watched her would like your... You want to talk to the Baron.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay, oh, okay.
- Eli (Isaac): You said it's the Butler guy, right?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, it's the, like, the big one.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, we want them to go over to Lady Walker's house.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, yeah, okay, sorry, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Sorry, I thought I was talking to the Baron.
- Bones (Ben): No, no, no.
- Bones (Ben): We've been requested to speak to the Baron in order to grant Lady Watcher with their presence.
- Will (Nat): Why would the baron want to speak with Lady Watchter?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, no, he doesn't.
- Eli (Isaac): We would like to talk to the baron.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): It matters of his, that was interesting.
- Bones (Ben): Great, great interest.
- Bones (Ben): Let's start that way.
- Will (Nat): You can tell me.
- Bones (Ben): Father, um, um, I am I forgetting this?
- Bones (Ben): Moushausha.
- Will (Nat): I'm not inclined to just let any random person speak to the baron without understanding why they would to speak to baron.
- Will (Nat): Why did you come here?
- 2Feet (Steph): I kind of, in a mad tone, I'm just like, we think that...
- 2Feet (Steph): Lady Watcher slash being woman's face is up to such suspicious business with, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): And is putting the town in danger.
- 2Feet (Steph): Right, Browning.
- Bones (Ben): I like that.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm led to believe that the only person who could give us insight into this problem is the Baron as he is so powerful and some knowledgeable in this case.
- Will (Nat): So are you suggesting that Lady Watchder?
- Will (Nat): is up to malice or has malice intent at heart?
- Will (Nat): What evidence do you have that one of the other nobles of the half of this count is conducting anything such as this?
- 2Feet (Steph): We saw vampires running through the front door with Mrs. Watchster, like letting them, like, granting them in, and then brutally saying no and saying there was no vampires and clearly lying to us.
- Eli (Isaac): Do we know if he, does the Baron like
- Eli (Isaac): This woman?
- Will (Nat): No, you know that they're, like, bitter rivals.
- Eli (Isaac): They're bitter rivals.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So you're saying that Lady Watchder is housing the undead.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): This would be grave news if this would be true.
- Will (Nat): That's true.
- Will (Nat): Roll a persuasion check.
- 2Feet (Steph): Aw.
- 2Feet (Steph): Uh, uh... That to be you.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, you're the one who said it.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): I'm not trusting.
- Bones (Ben): One thing.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm going to have my special phone, right?
- Eli (Isaac): I got my specialty money out.
- Will (Nat): It did get him.
- Will (Nat): No, that's what it went.
- Will (Nat): That's the luck of the night.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): All right, you just get it out of the way.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, yeah.
- Will (Nat): So you go and you're like, whoa, it's true.
- Will (Nat): I saw that he, she has undead running there.
- Will (Nat): And he goes, but why should I believe you?
- Eli (Isaac): Can I?
- Eli (Isaac): I step forward.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm just like, does it really matter, we're aiming to cause some trouble for her.
- Eli (Isaac): We have some, we would love to give you the evidence, but quite frankly, we need to talk to the Baron himself to give him that evidence.
- Eli (Isaac): We are not the only ones who have thought this, the man, the whatever, Father Lucian indicated that he also believed this to be true.
- Eli (Isaac): And he, quite frankly, thought that the only person who could possibly help us would be your master here.
- Will (Nat): So with advantage, with advantage, role of persuasion.
- Will (Nat): I mean, you can, but just so you know, like guidance.
- Will (Nat): is like you're obviously casting a spell on a...
- Eli (Isaac): So with advantage and we're doing... What are we... Persuasion?
- Will (Nat): Persuasion is a 15.
- Will (Nat): He says, well, if Father Lucian is saying this, I think I can let you in.
- Will (Nat): So he brings you into the entrance to the Bergen Master's Mansion.
- Will (Nat): Frame, you enter into the main entrance hall and vestibule.
- Will (Nat): Frame portraits adorn the wall of this grand foyer, which features a wide staircase and a sculpted railing.
- Will (Nat): A long carpeted hall attached to the foyer stretches almost the length of the mansion and has several doors leading away from it, including one at the far end.
- Will (Nat): Bundles of twigs are heaped against the walls.
- Will (Nat): He bids you to wait.
- Will (Nat): in the vessel and leaves for a bit to retrieve the baron.
- Will (Nat): What do you guys do?
- Will (Nat): Would you like to talk about strategy?
- Will (Nat): Yes.
- Bones (Ben): So that we don't crumble like I did the front of the way?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): So let's remember this is a story.
- Eli (Isaac): This guy's coming in here.
- Eli (Isaac): We've got to play this a little better, but I suspect that none of us are good at deception or charisma, so we got to stick as close to the truth as we absolutely can.
- Eli (Isaac): You see, based on this Butler guy, it seems like we're going to be dealing with someone's a little hoity-to-oity, so I don't think that we should, I think we should just try and, like, convince them about that bit about the blasphemy, like, really lean into that.
- Eli (Isaac): That seems like the important thing.
- Eli (Isaac): That's the thing that would cause her to have a downfall, and if she had a downfall is beneficial for this guy here.
- Eli (Isaac): But my charisma is still negative one.
- Eli (Isaac): So it worked for me right here, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's going to work for me next time.
- Eli (Isaac): What do you need, buddy?
- Eli (Isaac): If you want some more of the pupils, you can take a bowlful.
- Eli (Isaac): If you want, no, if you want something else, what kind of thing are you for?
- Eli (Isaac): Go for a banana, go for it, grab it.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay, hold on, sorry.
- Eli (Isaac): Also, can we just, like, look around?
- Eli (Isaac): So we're in this hallway, and there's the twigs on the ground?
- Eli (Isaac): Yep.
- Eli (Isaac): Does it look like they're twigs that are, like, a pile messy, or is it look intentional?
- Will (Nat): It's very, very intentional.
- Will (Nat): They're, like,
- Will (Nat): wrapped that like they're a bundle of it looks like they're being used the word that we're not allowed to use for it but is correct yes uh it is like uh it's clear that they are going to be used uh in some fashion if you were you know what give me a just straight insight actually yeah give me an insight check okay
- Will (Nat): You would suspect that knowing that the next festival that's coming up is the festival of the burning sun, that these might be used to, blazing sun, yeah, blazing sun, excuse me, might be used for that.
- Will (Nat): Yes, for a burning of an effigy of some sort.
- Will (Nat): Blazing sun.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so a moment has passed, and coming down the stairs, you see a man, a woman,
- Will (Nat): And they're two massive massifs.
- Will (Nat): Yes.
- Will (Nat): The man introduces himself as the Bergen master Baron Vargas Volkovich.
- Will (Nat): And the woman behind him, obviously the Baroness, remains silent.
- Will (Nat): The Baron says, my good man, Isaac, says, you have some news of Lady Watchder for me.
- Eli (Isaac): We have a great concern.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yes.
- Will (Nat): Go on.
- 2Feet (Steph): We know that you're right.
- 2Feet (Steph): We know that you are rivals, but we have no discomfort that I think you might enjoy.
- Will (Nat): To call her my rival is a...
- Will (Nat): I wouldn't raise her to the level.
- Will (Nat): She is insignificant.
- Will (Nat): She's not my evil.
- Eli (Isaac): She's not my evil.
- Eli (Isaac): As a major killer of the community, we have great fear that she is engaged in extremely blasphemous action.
- Eli (Isaac): She's giving home to the undead.
- Eli (Isaac): She was seen...
- Eli (Isaac): blatantly frowning like literally in front five nights and then but more but more specifically the and there's possibility we were talking to the father of evolution and
- Eli (Isaac): There is a great potential that...
- Will (Nat): So before you go any further, you quickly remember that the bones being lost, and in fact, the bones being the thing that keeps the place safe and holy is not public knowledge.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, no, no, yeah, I know.
- Eli (Isaac): He has informed us that she is often associated with characters like that, and...
- Eli (Isaac): We went over there and we saw it for ourselves, and we're very concerned, right?
- Eli (Isaac): We didn't see it themselves.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, we followed the other night.
- Eli (Isaac): We were trying to, just recently, just like a second ago, we followed them, and we were going to try and read the streets of them, of course, but they went straight into her house, and we thought that you needed to know.
- Eli (Isaac): And we were going to help, hopefully ask for your help to solve the situation.
- Will (Nat): Are you suggesting that Lady Fiona watched her?
- Eli (Isaac): Yes.
- Will (Nat): is acting as a spy of the devil strad in my very town.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm sure I couldn't say, but that sounds like a really interesting thought, and what do you think?
- 2Feet (Steph): You could not have that anything.
- Will (Nat): It is a very interesting tale, you tell.
- Will (Nat): Yes.
- Bones (Ben): That's also true.
- Bones (Ben): Are we still rolling?
- Will (Nat): No.
- Will (Nat): He's thinking.
- Will (Nat): He's like, he's going, interesting tale.
- Will (Nat): You can see he is.
- Will (Nat): calculating in his head the risk of doing something and says, I do not believe it is enough, your story is enough to do any action against such a powerful house of nobility.
- Will (Nat): However, I can send some men with you to do an inspection of...
- Will (Nat): malice at the Watchster house and see if what you say is true.
- 2Feet (Steph): Is it?
- Will (Nat): Get four men and go with them to inspect if what these outsiders say is true.
- 2Feet (Steph): May I also add to the fact that we think that Lady Washington, like the house, stole a very bad little gem.
- 2Feet (Steph): from the central account.
- Bones (Ben): Okay, so just so you know, this is the bellboard.
- Bones (Ben): We already talked about how we have to try and do our best to tell the truth because we're not good at life.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, I wouldn't.
- Will (Nat): I wouldn't.
- Bones (Ben): So, we already got his approval to have guards and inspect the house so we can speak you in and cause a distraction.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, so we got it.
- Bones (Ben): So we got it.
- Bones (Ben): He gave to us.
- Bones (Ben): Now, don't.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): All right.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so.
- Will (Nat): Isick comes back along his side.
- Will (Nat): There are four guards, similar to the guards that you saw at the front gates that were coming in.
- Will (Nat): Isick grumbled at you, seemingly annoyed that he now has something to do.
- Will (Nat): And you can tell he has his eye on you to see what it is that you guys are really trying to do.
- Will (Nat): He is coming with you with the four guards.
- Will (Nat): You guys now start walking towards the Watchter house, which is towards the north, if I remember correct.
- Will (Nat): I think it's the house up the north.
- 2Feet (Steph): Really?
- 2Feet (Steph): Just some.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, it's the house up the north over there.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): We're going over there.
- 2Feet (Steph): I have an idea.
- Will (Nat): Mm-hmm.
- Will (Nat): So the spy guy does this?
- Will (Nat): There's Izzyk and four guards, correct?
- 2Feet (Steph): I have an idea.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm just throwing this out there.
- 2Feet (Steph): It probably wouldn't work.
- 2Feet (Steph): But it is.
- 2Feet (Steph): I use.
- 2Feet (Steph): Sorry.
- 2Feet (Steph): I use thumb surgery.
- 2Feet (Steph): But I make this so only I hear it.
- 2Feet (Steph): So I go into investigate it.
- 2Feet (Steph): And I pretend, like I screamed, like I was pulled in by something, and then I used the cap of vanishing.
- 2Feet (Steph): I don't think that would work.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm just throwing this fantasy out.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay, well, that sounds pretty interesting.
- Eli (Isaac): Like, this play that we may have to bring up to something.
- Will (Nat): I actually, I like the idea.
- Will (Nat): So, rethink the cap of vanishing.
- Will (Nat): What it says that it can do.
- 2Feet (Steph): This cap has three charges and regain all expended charges daily at dawn.
- 2Feet (Steph): While wearing this cap, you can take a magic action and expend one charge to give yourself the invisibility condition for 10 minutes.
- 2Feet (Steph): The effect ends early if the has removed or immediately after making a tackle.
- 2Feet (Steph): Deal damage for a cap to spell.
- 2Feet (Steph): So the key thing there is it's 10 minutes.
- Will (Nat): So you want to do that as close to when you're going in.
- Will (Nat): as possible.
- Will (Nat): So this way that you maximize the amount of time that you have to investigate the place.
- Will (Nat): Additionally, remember, we had talked about before, wanting to use your psionic whispers ability to this way that you can communicate with the other folks.
- Will (Nat): You do, because you're still in life.
- Eli (Isaac): Do you also have that level five?
- Will (Nat): No, you get that at level three.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): No, no, no, no, you don't need to use the stones.
- 2Feet (Steph): I can talk to you two.
- 2Feet (Steph): You can talk to me.
- Will (Nat): Don't worry about well.
- Will (Nat): I don't think he, because what's your proficiency?
- Will (Nat): It's just two.
- Will (Nat): You can talk to two folks.
- Eli (Isaac): I can talk to you too.
- 2Feet (Steph): I can talk to you two.
- Eli (Isaac): We just can talk to each other, but that's okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): You can grab the speaking stones that way you can communicate it as well.
- Eli (Isaac): So they're right next with you.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, but I was going to say something really quick, even if we don't use these plan on.
- Eli (Isaac): As a team, you're supposed to have different plays that we talked about it.
- Eli (Isaac): We're like, hey, remember how we did and talked about that.
- Eli (Isaac): And we use it someday.
- Eli (Isaac): So this is great that you bring them up, even if we don't use it right now.
- Will (Nat): I think that actually agree with that.
- Will (Nat): I think you put on the cyanic whispers?
- Will (Nat): Yeah, I dropped it.
- Will (Nat): It broke.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): It's okay.
- Eli (Isaac): I'll re-bottle it.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- UNKNOWN: Okay.
- Will (Nat): So you guys get to the watch their house.
- Will (Nat): Um, let's see, how do we want to play this?
- Will (Nat): So we're all walking up.
- Will (Nat): Yep.
- Eli (Isaac): We got four, five guards with us.
- Eli (Isaac): Was there any kind of people who are insisting on walking in front?
- Will (Nat): Um, yeah, we'll say that they're walking in front with, with you guys, he's behind.
- Eli (Isaac): So from the house's perspective, because we go up to the, was there a gate?
- Eli (Isaac): I forget.
- Will (Nat): There is a, um,
- Will (Nat): Yeah, there's like a gate kind of out front.
- Will (Nat): And then there's the main entrance to the house is right in front of you.
- Will (Nat): And then to the side behind, there's an entrance to the cellar, which is where you had seen the vampire swan.
- Eli (Isaac): So from the house perspective, they see I think and the guys walk straight up and I'm like kind of bang on the gate because they're not going to come through.
- Eli (Isaac): The gate's probably closed.
- Eli (Isaac): No, the gate's open.
- Eli (Isaac): So like, I suggest that while they do this, we hang just a tiny back.
- Eli (Isaac): And like, like, let's let Isaac feel like he's in charge of this operation.
- Eli (Isaac): and is pushing forward.
- Bones (Ben): Did we want to communicate to Isick?
- Bones (Ben): That's the cellar area is where we saw the vampire's going.
- Bones (Ben): So at least, you know, keep like that and kind of wants to push it.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): And when they're going to the side, Tyra Bushman, and then that plan happened.
- 2Feet (Steph): Sure.
- 2Feet (Steph): Maximizing what happens.
- Will (Nat): Sure.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So walk me through this again.
- Eli (Isaac): So as we're walking up, we tell Isick, look, I know you're not a fan of us, but we're really worried about this thing.
- Eli (Isaac): What we saw was the vampires flying into the side cellar.
- Eli (Isaac): We'll see when we get there.
- Eli (Isaac): And that's where we believe the vampires are, the proof of it.
- 2Feet (Steph): They go investigate.
- Eli (Isaac): Look, we don't know if they're going to do that yet.
- 2Feet (Steph): If they investigate, I'm going to use psionic whispers.
- Will (Nat): Well, you can do psionic whispers now.
- Will (Nat): It's the way that you guys are talking to each other.
- 2Feet (Steph): Not psionic whispers.
- 2Feet (Steph): The thermometer that makes it, so there is ominous whispers.
- 2Feet (Steph): I hear it.
- 2Feet (Steph): I go in to see what it is.
- 2Feet (Steph): To sell it, to sell like the entire thing, I could make harmless tremors in the ground.
- 2Feet (Steph): But we don't have to do that.
- Will (Nat): I don't understand the, walk me through this, I don't understand what this is.
- Eli (Isaac): I think you're getting too far ahead.
- Eli (Isaac): Why are we doing it?
- Eli (Isaac): Because the guys are, picture of the scene, right?
- Eli (Isaac): We walked up.
- Eli (Isaac): Right now, we're walking up to the house.
- Eli (Isaac): So they're going to have to knock on the door first.
- Eli (Isaac): They can't just go charging in, right?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): So they're going to knock on the door.
- Eli (Isaac): And then if someone's going to come to the door, they're going to say, you know, hey, we want to do.
- Eli (Isaac): So what is your plan?
- Eli (Isaac): What I was thinking is we try and get them over, like,
- Eli (Isaac): get Isaac in the guards to be like, look, we think there's a problem over there, and get them to convince her to come out just enough to show them how there's absolutely nothing there or whatever, and you can sneak in behind.
- Eli (Isaac): That's what I was thinking was happening, or what's going to happen?
- Eli (Isaac): What do you think?
- 2Feet (Steph): I had a very fantasy idea, and he don't have to do it, but I think something that should happen is all in his wishers and, like, sounds like the vampires in, like, he's their backyard.
- Will (Nat): There is.
- 2Feet (Steph): There's a backyard, and it makes it obvious that they can hear it, so they can't even if they can walk in.
- 2Feet (Steph): How about?
- Will (Nat): There's noises, by the way, like, this is a bustling city, so, like, there's those noises type of things will be coming from all directions around anyway.
- Will (Nat): I think it would be hard to be like, that right there, that was a vampire spawn.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): We make it, like, talking loudly.
- 2Feet (Steph): Like, it's like a funny one spawn, so you don't know if there's more.
- Eli (Isaac): So I think this is another good plan.
- Eli (Isaac): But why don't we pull off on it?
- Eli (Isaac): You know when you are going to meet that spell, when you're sneaking in it, you see somebody, if you're about to get caught by somebody, like there's a maid or something, being able to casting that in like another room so that they go investigate that instead of coming near you is a really good idea, I think.
- Eli (Isaac): So why don't we hold that in reserve?
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So walk me through again, like, so I'll tell you what's, from my perspective, what's happening is,
- Will (Nat): Isak and the guards are going up to the front door and to say that they're conducting an inspection of malice against the washerhouse.
- Will (Nat): Is there anything else other than that that is going on right now?
- Bones (Ben): Not at that moment.
- Will (Nat): Is there anything else that is going to be going on that you guys are planning on doing it?
- Eli (Isaac): The plan is to hopefully encourage them to come out to check out the side or whatever when they're investigating this malice because I don't think that she's just going to let them come in.
- Eli (Isaac): If she does just let them come in, then he should be invisible...
- Eli (Isaac): right before that, or he should be invisible now maybe?
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Because we're walking up.
- Bones (Ben): Is it already knows that he's with us?
- Bones (Ben): So why it's not for him?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): get for the house.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, no, no, I'm more concerned about Isaac calling him out.
- Bones (Ben): Like, where did he go and then causing him?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): That's why I said, that's why I said, like, do something where, like, I've attacked him.
- 2Feet (Steph): No, we have to.
- 2Feet (Steph): How long does this work?
- Bones (Ben): 10-m. That should be plenty of time for you to.
- Bones (Ben): But we don't want you to get attacked at that, to draw the attention of everybody else to go and figure out why you're gone and attacked.
- Eli (Isaac): Counter-other, or counter thing.
- Bones (Ben): She said, you just go to the church.
- Eli (Isaac): We just, yeah, I was going to say, we, like, they come up, and as we're going up, you just hang back a little bit.
- Eli (Isaac): We go up, you hang back to the guards can't see as soon as they aren't in line of sight, just put that cap on.
- Eli (Isaac): And then you follow us, and if he says where your friend goes, if he went back to the church, back to the church, yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): You're already invisible.
- Eli (Isaac): You're not going back.
- Eli (Isaac): The key is don't get too much information.
- Eli (Isaac): Less is more.
- Eli (Isaac): You're just invisible behind, and then you be quiet and use your stove.
- Will (Nat): So give me a stealth check to see if you can successfully hang back without being seen as you put on the cap of invisibility.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): Just, okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): Extra, extra.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Five, plus seven, so 12.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So, yep.
- Will (Nat): There's an easy check.
- Will (Nat): You're hanging back.
- Will (Nat): They're not looking for you or anything like that.
- Will (Nat): It was just making sure you didn't trick over and fall when you do it.
- Will (Nat): All right.
- Will (Nat): So, Isick now, and the guards get to the house, you guys are standing back a little bit.
- Will (Nat): Isaac is standing with, or excuse me, Eli, is standing with the three other adventurers.
- Will (Nat): Isaac bangs on the door to which a servant answers the door.
- Will (Nat): Isick starts...
- Will (Nat): demanding entry into the house for an inspection of malice.
- Will (Nat): The servant calls for Lady Watchder, who comes again.
- Will (Nat): This is Lady Watchder over here.
- Will (Nat): Lady Watchder steps out into the front stoop of the house and demands to know what is this.
- Will (Nat): Isick is arguing with her saying, this is an inspection of malice.
- Will (Nat): She says, this is pure your...
- Will (Nat): harassing me and my book club.
- Will (Nat): This injustice will not stand.
- Will (Nat): You know that this evening we always have our book clubs.
- Will (Nat): And this is here to just intimidate and stop us in this.
- Will (Nat): Almost as if on cue, three women come from behind, walk in, and Lady Watsonauer says, we'll be just a moment.
- Will (Nat): Go to the side and enter in to the side of the house.
- Will (Nat): And I will be down in a moment.
- Will (Nat): And then the three women walk towards the side of the house.
- Eli (Isaac): Woo-wee-wee, go follow them and try and get in, maybe.
- Eli (Isaac): I am thought.
- Eli (Isaac): Maybe.
- Eli (Isaac): Yep, yeah, yeah, maybe.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): So, the three women go towards the side of the house.
- Will (Nat): Isaac, or excuse me, Eli, standing kind of behind.
- Will (Nat): As the three women open.
- Will (Nat): the door to the cellar.
- Will (Nat): Do-da-do-do-do.
- Will (Nat): They go through the flight of stairs that are coming down.
- Will (Nat): Before they see, and as you kind of are behind them, you see the dirt floor of the cellar and you see
- Will (Nat): four beds, and another stairwell coming up.
- Will (Nat): As each of the women enter into the cellar, before they step foot onto the ground, they each say the phrase, let the dead remain at rest, and then step onto the ground and then walk in towards the cellar.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay, I repeat the record.
- 2Feet (Steph): Let the dead remain at rest, and then I sit down in.
- Will (Nat): Do you want a hold or keep it?
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So do you say that out loud while they're still inside the room?
- Eli (Isaac): I'm saying it in... Maybe... Maybe...
- Eli (Isaac): I'm saying that, no, I'm doing it.
- 2Feet (Steph): No, I'm saying that in... No, I'm saying that in...
- 2Feet (Steph): So I'm saying that in...
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): Because that might be a good thermometer.
- Will (Nat): You see the women walk up to what appears to be a solid wall, and then press upon the wall, and the wall spins, and there is a side room that flickering candles...
- Will (Nat): kind of goes, so you see kind of the light shadowing in and out from there.
- Will (Nat): And you notice from where you are that there's like a stone floor inside there.
- Will (Nat): The door now closes behind.
- 2Feet (Steph): I have a question.
- 2Feet (Steph): Would that technically be an unlocked door?
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): It's not unlocked door.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): I make it open.
- 2Feet (Steph): Wait.
- 2Feet (Steph): First say the thing.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, I say the thing.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, I say the thing.
- 2Feet (Steph): Let the dead remain at rest.
- 2Feet (Steph): I say that.
- 2Feet (Steph): I walk down.
- 2Feet (Steph): And then I doometurgy.
- 2Feet (Steph): to instantly cause an unlocked door to fly open.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So the door slams open, alerting the three women inside there, to which they look and one says, Lady watched her, and then kind of comes out towards the room.
- 2Feet (Steph): I think yes.
- UNKNOWN: I have to choose it.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You enter into the room.
- Will (Nat): Give me a stealth check at advantage to see if...
- Will (Nat): Do you do the same thing?
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, my God, I got two not money.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Uh, yeah, so you sneak, uh, what does it say?
- 2Feet (Steph): It said D and E. Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): We make two back ones and the other ones.
- Will (Nat): So yeah, you sneak right into the room.
- Will (Nat): So you notice, flickering candles in iron holders fill this room with light and shadow.
- Will (Nat): The room has a 10-foot high ceiling and a large black pentagram inscribed on the stone floor.
- Will (Nat): At each point of the pentagram rests a wooden chair.
- Will (Nat): Seated in four of the five chairs are men and women.
- Will (Nat): So the three women that you saw in two minutes.
- Will (Nat): So I guess one of them is actually standing up by the door now.
- Will (Nat): In black robes and hoods.
- Will (Nat): A young man who has the face of an angel.
- Will (Nat): A balding Hulk of a man, squat middle-aged woman, and a taller younger woman with an unsettling glare are all sitting there kind of like staring at the door.
- 2Feet (Steph): I want to make them scared to get them to leave.
- 2Feet (Steph): Please just play them cool.
- 2Feet (Steph): No, I want to get them to leave.
- Bones (Ben): Remember, they don't want to leave.
- Bones (Ben): They know we're here.
- 2Feet (Steph): No.
- 2Feet (Steph): Like, no, anybody wants them to leave by using, like, make it feel like those kids.
- Eli (Isaac): So you are very...
- Eli (Isaac): get into the shadows with your, I know you have that, but still?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): And is he able to cast the thing that makes the whispers?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, who would immediately become this.
- Will (Nat): Okay, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): So just remember this, Isaac.
- Bones (Ben): They went there to hide and tell them that, you know, the barrens people are there and what?
- Eli (Isaac): Well, wait, we don't know that.
- Eli (Isaac): That's an assumption, too.
- Bones (Ben): That is.
- Eli (Isaac): They just arrived.
- Eli (Isaac): They were a schedule to arrive, probably.
- Eli (Isaac): So they came down there for a purpose.
- Eli (Isaac): And those people were already there were eating.
- Eli (Isaac): So no, we don't know that.
- Eli (Isaac): They do probably, there's possible that they know we're here, but that's a different story entirely.
- Eli (Isaac): And the two women came in already.
- Eli (Isaac): The third one is the only one who came out again, right?
- Will (Nat): Yeah, so there's two women sitting, two men sitting, and then the one woman kind of standing up by the door.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay, so.
- Eli (Isaac): And then?
- Eli (Isaac): I actually don't think you should go in there necessarily because what's going to happen is she's going to come down soon and you'll be able to search the house.
- Eli (Isaac): But if you're stuck in that room with them.
- Eli (Isaac): You may be, so if you do that, I think that it would be a great idea to just be quiet and stay there and listen to the meeting, but if you interact at all, you don't die.
- 2Feet (Steph): Now, what I do to really sell it is I leave the room, but I'm in the cellar right now, and I slide a door shop.
- Will (Nat): Why?
- Eli (Isaac): Why?
- Eli (Isaac): So one woman is out.
- Will (Nat): So actually, you know what?
- Will (Nat): You cast dermaturgy before, right?
- Will (Nat): So let's actually, let's retcon this really quick.
- Will (Nat): Because if you cast thematurgy before, you would be visible as soon as you cast it.
- Will (Nat): So are you sure you want to, let's go back.
- Will (Nat): Are you sure you want to, we'll say that you did it and put the cap immediately back on.
- Will (Nat): So you reset your 10 minutes before anyone saw.
- Will (Nat): But now you're down to one more charge of the hat.
- Bones (Ben): Quick question.
- Bones (Ben): The hat said it had to be an attack.
- Bones (Ben): The thermometer is a spell.
- 2Feet (Steph): It's an action.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm still there, and I just don't go way outside.
- 2Feet (Steph): So you're going to go back out into the cellar, just to, like, see if there's my heart.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Do we think, based on his knowledge of hiding and listening at door holes, when he doesn't have it, if that door is closed, will keep you up to hear it?
- Eli (Isaac): Does it look like, I understand that?
- Will (Nat): It's pretty thick.
- Will (Nat): I don't think he would be able to do it.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): And what's in the, can you, I send you, what's in the room you're in right now?
- Will (Nat): So the room that he's in right now is a sand floor basement.
- Will (Nat): There are stairs that are leading up and there are stairs that are leading out and there are four beds in the room.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- UNKNOWN: Go upstairs.
- Eli (Isaac): I think you should go upstairs and fulfill the original task and search for the things.
- Eli (Isaac): It may be down there, but let's rule out the rest of the house.
- Eli (Isaac): What do you think?
- Eli (Isaac): Well, I verbally say what do you think?
- Will (Nat): As you're saying this, okay.
- Will (Nat): I'll leave for you to get back.
- Eli (Isaac): I think this has taught me that in a post-apocalyptic scenario, I think he'll die.
- Will (Nat): He's a child, but I am bludgeon.
- Eli (Isaac): Or you thought you're on the feral guard of God.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, he's a ghost.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): He's a ghost of an old.
- Will (Nat): Was this dude the one downstairs that you were describing?
- Will (Nat): This was the dude that was at the front door, yeah, who got the doll, who came with you guys.
- Will (Nat): But is he downstairs?
- Will (Nat): Yeah, he's downstairs.
- Will (Nat): Okay, that's why I thought that's who you were driving.
- Will (Nat): So they have a monkey?
- Will (Nat): No, no, no, the monkey, he's gone.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): All right.
- Will (Nat): So as you are ascending up the stairs, outside the conversation between Izzik and Lady Fiona Watcher is getting a bit more heated.
- Will (Nat): He says, we have reason to believe that you are harboring contraband and harboring the undead.
- Will (Nat): As he says contraband, you give me a perception check.
- 2Feet (Steph): Me?
- Will (Nat): No, you're inside.
- Will (Nat): This is for the two of them.
- Will (Nat): 21.
- Will (Nat): 21.
- Will (Nat): You notice, as he says, contraband, you can kind of see Lady Fiona Watcher kind of looking up and towards the right of the house.
- Will (Nat): She's like, I wouldn't have contraband here.
- Will (Nat): What are you talking about?
- Will (Nat): You can kind of see slightly that the...
- Bones (Ben): I go upstairs right-hand side from my stage.
- Eli (Isaac): Got it.
- Eli (Isaac): And we have the magic of the understand.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, yep, yep, yep.
- Eli (Isaac): Different ways.
- Bones (Ben): That's good.
- Bones (Ben): The real world is.
- Bones (Ben): You go upstairs to the lot.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, 100%.
- Bones (Ben): Uh, hold on.
- Will (Nat): Well, let's, hold on.
- Eli (Isaac): How does this can have stairs in any direction?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Uh, okay, grand stairwell.
- Will (Nat): It could be spiral.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, yeah, all the fun things.
- 2Feet (Steph): It could be a plane.
- UNKNOWN: Okay.
- Will (Nat): Uh, do, do, do, do, too.
- Will (Nat): All right.
- 2Feet (Steph): All right.
- Will (Nat): Um.
- Will (Nat): It could be spiral.
- Will (Nat): You, Isaac, go up the stairwell, and the strangest thing ever, it just stops on a wall.
- Will (Nat): There's no door.
- UNKNOWN: Hmm.
- Eli (Isaac): Next.
- Eli (Isaac): Is it going to be relaying this to us or can you relate?
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm telling you.
- Will (Nat): What happens if you touch it?
- Will (Nat): I touch it.
- Will (Nat): Give me an investigation check.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): Uh, not funny.
- Eli (Isaac): Jesus, really?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): This is my extra one.
- Eli (Isaac): You are either a one or a 20.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): You're in the one or a 20.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Uh, it is a, uh, it's clearly, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's clearly, it's, it's, it starts to swing open.
- Will (Nat): It's a door.
- Will (Nat): It's just like a, it looks just like a, uh, uh, a empty wall.
- Will (Nat): Uh, do, do, too, uh, uh, you now are into, uh, uh, a small closet.
- Will (Nat): with servants, coats, and aprons hang upon hooks in the room and boots nearly lined up against the wall.
- Will (Nat): Neatly lined up against the wall.
- Will (Nat): There is the actual doorway.
- Will (Nat): So you came up through the stairs, you kind of pushed open.
- Will (Nat): You can see there's the coats and things like that are hanging on here, and there's the actual door to exit the closet.
- 2Feet (Steph): I exit the closet.
- 2Feet (Steph): I open the door.
- Will (Nat): So you're in a small vestibule.
- Will (Nat): There's a door leading to the outside, to like the back of the house.
- Will (Nat): And there's a door to your left, and there is a door to your right.
- Eli (Isaac): Can you make sure that door is just unlocked?
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, yes.
- 2Feet (Steph): I make sure the side door, the doors are unlocked.
- 2Feet (Steph): That locks, that door to the outside?
- Eli (Isaac): It may have already been unlocked, but it's just checking it as a lock.
- Will (Nat): It is locked.
- Will (Nat): It is a locked door.
- Eli (Isaac): Can he, not with his belt, can he just...
- Eli (Isaac): unlock it because it's from the inside and usually you can unlock doors from the inside.
- Will (Nat): So remember these are medieval doors, so like you do need to lockpick them.
- Will (Nat): Because it's like a skeleton key type of thing, so yeah, you need to keep it.
- Will (Nat): It's not like this one.
- Will (Nat): But he can, he's got, he's a, he's got lockpacks.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, he's got lockpicks.
- 2Feet (Steph): Can you, and that'd be good.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yep.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, I would like to know.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so.
- Will (Nat): Perfect.
- Will (Nat): It's going to be your dexterity, plus your proficiency with lock picking tools.
- Will (Nat): So that's going to give you plus your proficiency bonus.
- 2Feet (Steph): So it's plus six.
- Will (Nat): So it's plus six.
- Will (Nat): And if you were an expert at locksmith, then it would give you an additional plus two, but I don't think you have expertise.
- Eli (Isaac): I don't know this is going to be useful, but I should have an extra door.
- Eli (Isaac): Yep.
- Eli (Isaac): Hold the dice and both figure out the number afterwards.
- 2Feet (Steph): 18 plus four.
- 2Feet (Steph): So 20.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, the door unlocks with each.
- Will (Nat): Now you can go out back, or you can go.
- Will (Nat): Don't go outside.
- Will (Nat): Yep.
- Eli (Isaac): Remember I told me up upstairs.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, you go on your way.
- Eli (Isaac): You just gave us a point of exit so that, like, if you have to run out really fast, you can run out that door.
- Eli (Isaac): And also, we need to come help you to run in that door, hopefully.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Because no one will know that it's unlocked.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay, yeah, so now I, um, go.
- 2Feet (Steph): I feel like.
- 2Feet (Steph): You have a locker right choice.
- 2Feet (Steph): You said that you're right.
- Bones (Ben): Upstairs.
- Bones (Ben): Upstairs.
- 2Feet (Steph): To your right.
- Bones (Ben): To my right.
- Bones (Ben): I don't know.
- Bones (Ben): I'd go left.
- Bones (Ben): Up there, I cannot argue with that logic.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'll go left.
- Will (Nat): You go left.
- Bones (Ben): Right logic.
- Bones (Ben): It depends on where the side door is.
- Bones (Ben): It depends on where the side door is.
- Eli (Isaac): It's totally plausible.
- Bones (Ben): I can't argue.
- Eli (Isaac): Perfect.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So, you...
- Will (Nat): Open the door to the room.
- Will (Nat): The furnishing rooms are bereft of imagination.
- Will (Nat): Four simple beds with equally store austere wooden chests inside there.
- Will (Nat): This looks like servants' rooms.
- Will (Nat): You don't see anyone in there right now.
- Will (Nat): There is a door to your left.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So...
- Will (Nat): Just for the future, Isaac, it might be a wise idea to, like, listen at the door before you just... Yeah, I listen at the door.
- 2Feet (Steph): Sorry.
- 2Feet (Steph): Sorry.
- 2Feet (Steph): I listen at the door.
- Will (Nat): That's a good suggestion.
- Will (Nat): Yep.
- Will (Nat): Do you... You don't hear, like, the war of a fireplace, but you don't really hear, like, noise, like, anything like that.
- Will (Nat): Or any people talking or footsteps or anything like that.
- Bones (Ben): So then the next best thing is also to crack the door open, not fully open.
- 2Feet (Steph): No, what am I going to do?
- Bones (Ben): Because maybe you're invisible and you don't want to cast a spell.
- 2Feet (Steph): I was just thinking of this wand of secrets.
- 2Feet (Steph): Maybe there's a secret room.
- Bones (Ben): But that's casting as well.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, we don't want you to disappear.
- Bones (Ben): Or to... You're taking a magic action, I'm guessing.
- 2Feet (Steph): He has a magic action.
- 2Feet (Steph): So I will open the door for light.
- 2Feet (Steph): Just quickly open.
- 2Feet (Steph): Just open.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You see, this is a large living room of sorts.
- Will (Nat): There's three elegant couches surrounding an oval table made of black glass.
- Will (Nat): All are set in front of a blazing hearth, above which hangs the portrait of a smirking nobleman, supporting a broken nose and a tangle of gray hair at the temples.
- Will (Nat): Several small portraits also hang on the walls.
- Will (Nat): There's nobody in there.
- Will (Nat): And then you can see there's like a much bigger room kind of beyond it, open up.
- Will (Nat): So similar to like how this room and that room exists.
- Will (Nat): Behind the couches.
- Eli (Isaac): I was doing an investigation check.
- Eli (Isaac): We should be doing an investigation check in each room to kind of look for obvious.
- Bones (Ben): Because you're still on the same level.
- Eli (Isaac): We are, right?
- Eli (Isaac): No.
- Eli (Isaac): Or did he get all the way out?
- Eli (Isaac): No.
- Will (Nat): So now he's on the same level that you are.
- Will (Nat): Because remember, he went down into the basement and then up.
- Will (Nat): And then up.
- Will (Nat): And now do, do.
- 2Feet (Steph): No, but I went up the same thing.
- 2Feet (Steph): There was a wall.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, that's the wall to us, to the main level.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): It was a secret access.
- Eli (Isaac): But it was in a basement and they stepped up to the door of the main floor.
- Eli (Isaac): It didn't look like the door.
- 2Feet (Steph): Well, I was going to go up.
- Eli (Isaac): Yes, to the main level.
- Eli (Isaac): You went to the cellar.
- Eli (Isaac): No, he said he still has to go upstairs.
- 2Feet (Steph): I leave that room and I go upstairs.
- Bones (Ben): We'll just have to find the upstairs.
- Eli (Isaac): You go through the room to the other door.
- 2Feet (Steph): I go through the room to the other door.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Or are you doing an investigation?
- Eli (Isaac): No, I couldn't.
- Will (Nat): So you're inside the parlor right now.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): You can just see the other room.
- Will (Nat): It is like there's no wall between there.
- Will (Nat): It's like a two rooms kind of type by thing.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So in the other room, you see an ornate dining table stretched across the length of this room.
- Will (Nat): A crystal chandelier hangs above it imperatively.
- Will (Nat): The silverware is tarnished, the dishes are chipped, yet all still quite elegant.
- Will (Nat): Eight chairs, their backs adorned with sculpted elkhorns surround the table.
- Will (Nat): Arched windows made of a latticework of iron and glass look out into the small fog-swept estate.
- Will (Nat): And do me a favor.
- Will (Nat): Doot-to-to-to-to-to-to.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm telling all of what you're saying to that.
- Bones (Ben): What book are they reading?
- Bones (Ben): What's the book?
- Bones (Ben): What's the book of the month?
- Bones (Ben): I mean, they're in the basement, you know.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so as you're walking towards the room, give me a stealth check.
- Bones (Ben): What?
- Bones (Ben): Does he have to be in because he's invisible?
- 2Feet (Steph): Dang.
- Bones (Ben): Trying to give you everything.
- 2Feet (Steph): Do you catch that?
- Bones (Ben): Nope, because I'm not hearing him, and I don't see him.
- Bones (Ben): And I can't touch you.
- 2Feet (Steph): 13.
- 2Feet (Steph): But step, so I have a dirty plank.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So as you step across one of the wooden planks, you feel it begin to sink just a little bit.
- Will (Nat): And because you're an experienced rogue, you know that, like, if you put more pressure on this, it's going to creak.
- Will (Nat): So you slowly just lift your foot off of it a little bit, and it creaks, but it creaks ever so silently such that...
- Will (Nat): like really paying attention to here.
- Will (Nat): Like you would know that it's coming.
- Will (Nat): Yep, yep, yep.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so you can see the two windows kind of looking out.
- Will (Nat): If you move to the side of the dining room table, you could see the commotion going on up front with Izek and the guards and Lady Watcher debating.
- Will (Nat): To the right of that, so kind of like moving backwards from where you are, there is another door.
- Will (Nat): out the window to the right kind of by where the door is there is a view of the gardens which you crossed on the way in and then behind you moving more towards the front of the house there's another doorway so you've got a doorway we'll call it to the left and back and a doorway behind you
- 2Feet (Steph): I'll do, I will listen in to the door to left and back.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): So, real quick, I'd also like to say you could talk to us and ask us, hey, I'm on your level, but where's the stairway, stairwell from your vantage point?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, you guys can't see that.
- Bones (Ben): Okay, no, I'm just trying, did we haven't been in the FOIA?
- Eli (Isaac): We're not outside.
- Bones (Ben): We're outside.
- Eli (Isaac): Everybody's still outside.
- Eli (Isaac): We're not.
- Eli (Isaac): She hasn't closed in.
- Eli (Isaac): Yep.
- Eli (Isaac): In fact, I was going to say, while they're arguing, I'm kind of just.
- Eli (Isaac): Suddenly, and I'm not moving towards the house at all, because he said that he unlocked the door.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm trying to get just eyes on that door so I know where it is.
- Eli (Isaac): It's like the weird if it's around over here.
- Will (Nat): So you're looking at the front door.
- Will (Nat): They came in the side door.
- Will (Nat): So like picture of the garage door here.
- Will (Nat): And then the door that he unlocked is like the basement door over there or like the backyard.
- Will (Nat): So like you can't see it.
- Eli (Isaac): It's on the same level.
- Will (Nat): It's on the same level, but it's the back door to the house.
- Will (Nat): Okay, gosh.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): All right.
- Will (Nat): So Isaac, you put your ear against the door and you hear.
- Will (Nat): the sounds of a fire, you hear the sounds of pots and pans, and you hear a discussion that's going on inside there, and it sounds very much like a kitchen.
- Will (Nat): Like you can know from the sound of like what's going on inside there that this is a kitchen.
- 2Feet (Steph): Could I open?
- 2Feet (Steph): Can I...
- 2Feet (Steph): Could I want to listen to the door behind.
- Will (Nat): So you go back to the other door?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Although there's probably stairs upstairs from there.
- 2Feet (Steph): They definitely stairs upstairs.
- Will (Nat): But the other door's not idea.
- Will (Nat): So you go up to the other door, you put your ear against it, and you don't hear anything.
- Will (Nat): Do you want to go through there?
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So you enter into a small room.
- Will (Nat): There is, directly in front of you, another door.
- Will (Nat): To your right, a door that is open, and you can see vestibule that is there, so a large waiting room, and out the front door, which is another door from there, you can see the back of Lady Watcher and Izzyk and Edwin there.
- Will (Nat): And directly to your left, you see the stairs going up.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Do me a favor.
- Will (Nat): Let's give you...
- Will (Nat): A, um, let's do another stealth check.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay, so nine plus seven, it's 16.
- Will (Nat): 16, okay.
- Will (Nat): Again, you start to step on some of the steps and you hear the slight bit of a creek and then you kind of slowly lit off of it and step above and then step through and step through.
- Eli (Isaac): If you, if you find you're in a position where you make an actual noise, like if you're, you know, this has been a little close call.
- Eli (Isaac): Let us know immediately and we will cause a ruckus or make something loud out front, which will maybe not stop you from getting in trouble at all, but it'll probably keep some of the attention of you.
- Eli (Isaac): That's all.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Are you hungry about?
- Will (Nat): We got out of boots.
- Eli (Isaac): Even we have a brusibles.
- Eli (Isaac): I can take them out of business and de-frosted.
- Bones (Ben): A little bit spice?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, you stole one of my chips.
- Eli (Isaac): I told you.
- Bones (Ben): I have her.
- Bones (Ben): She won't.
- Bones (Ben): She's not hungry.
- Bones (Ben): She's just obsessed with the fact that she actually gets a play with Heather.
- Eli (Isaac): Anyway, so I just wanted to let you know that, I think.
- Eli (Isaac): Because if you do, but you'll have to do it fast.
- Eli (Isaac): You'll let us know and we'll have to because otherwise we won't work.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'll say what?
- Eli (Isaac): Say distraction, distraction.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, just say distraction.
- Eli (Isaac): All right, go ahead.
- Eli (Isaac): Sorry.
- Eli (Isaac): So you client, you're at the top of the stairs now?
- Will (Nat): Yep, he's at the top of the stairs.
- Will (Nat): You're in a long hallway.
- Will (Nat): So you kind of look around.
- Will (Nat): There is a door to your right.
- Will (Nat): The other, the back of the hallway, there's another door that's on the same side.
- Will (Nat): And there are one, two doors on the other side and one set of large double doors that are on that side.
- Will (Nat): So coming up immediately to your left, large double doors, to your right, single door, back, another single door, and then to the left, one, two, actually, excuse me, three more small doors to your left.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'll just end on the first door to my left.
- Will (Nat): The double door?
- 2Feet (Steph): The first door to my left.
- Will (Nat): Yes.
- Will (Nat): So the double door that's there, okay.
- Bones (Ben): Does that enjoy the hot sauce, by the way?
- Will (Nat): Yeah, yeah, it's good.
- Will (Nat): It's really strong.
- Will (Nat): It's shockingly strong.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You hear the sounds of movement inside the room.
- Will (Nat): Lots of movement, but it doesn't sound like...
- Will (Nat): Give me, in fact, give me a, either perception or investigation, whichever one you want for that.
- 2Feet (Steph): Investigation?
- Will (Nat): Or perception, whichever one's higher out.
- Will (Nat): The other game.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'll do investigation because it is plus two.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): 18, 16.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): So you hear the sound of what can only be described as small animals walking around.
- 2Feet (Steph): I would go up to the second door.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Do you have in the hospital?
- Will (Nat): Are you going to... Are you going to... You're going to...
- Will (Nat): Okay, so you go to the next set of doors.
- Will (Nat): You're going to listen into it?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yep.
- Will (Nat): Okay, give me another investigation or perception.
- 2Feet (Steph): My copy.
- 2Feet (Steph): So I must say 11.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So 13.
- Will (Nat): 13.
- Will (Nat): You don't hear anything inside the room.
- 2Feet (Steph): I click the door open.
- Will (Nat): The door is locked.
- Will (Nat): You got to try to push the door open, and it is locked.
- Eli (Isaac): I will go to the next.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, no, it's a good idea to scouting all the doors.
- Bones (Ben): Remember that door?
- Bones (Ben): Remember that door?
- Bones (Ben): The door she keeps the bones in?
- Bones (Ben): I'll say Andrews, it's probably going to be locked.
- 2Feet (Steph): Well, and I say, okay, good point, but what is?
- 2Feet (Steph): But remember it.
- 2Feet (Steph): And I'm just like, but what is?
- 2Feet (Steph): She's trying to make us think that she would lock her.
- Bones (Ben): But it's meaning.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, just like two pieces.
- Bones (Ben): You know, check the other doors.
- Bones (Ben): Do the easy thing, so I remember that door.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): I check the third door on my left.
- Will (Nat): Um, you, uh, give me again an investigation.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Will (Nat): As you, you're putting your ears up against the wall.
- 2Feet (Steph): Six.
- Will (Nat): Six.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, it doesn't sound like there's anything going on inside the room.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You open the door, and it is a bedroom.
- Will (Nat): Master and all-master.
- Will (Nat): No, it is just a small bedroom.
- Will (Nat): It contains nothing out of the ordinary, a neatly made bed, a table with an oil lamp on it, a handsome wooden chest, and a slender wardrobe with a...
- Will (Nat): a window with some boxed, a window box with drapes.
- 2Feet (Steph): I searched the chest.
- 2Feet (Steph): I closed the door behind, I closed the door behind myself and then I investigated the case of the track.
- Will (Nat): Okay, give me an investigation.
- Will (Nat): I'm fine with this being the IDXO right now.
- Will (Nat): This is actually good.
- Will (Nat): Good.
- 2Feet (Steph): 9, 15, 11.
- 2Feet (Steph): 11.
- Will (Nat): You don't think you're trapped.
- Will (Nat): Is it lost?
- 2Feet (Steph): Is the chest locked?
- Will (Nat): It does not appear to be...
- Will (Nat): Locked.
- 2Feet (Steph): I open the chest.
- Will (Nat): Or wardrobe, I should say.
- Will (Nat): Well, no, there's a chest and a wardrobe.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You open up the chest.
- Will (Nat): Inside there you see like some pantaloons, some undergarments.
- Will (Nat): Spare blanket.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, spare blanket.
- Will (Nat): You see like some clothing type of stuff.
- 2Feet (Steph): I check the water.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Stop in the wardrobe.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): You see there's like some nice clothing inside here.
- Will (Nat): And give me a... Oh, wow.
- 2Feet (Steph): Even perception or history.
- Will (Nat): Perception or history.
- Will (Nat): Or perception?
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): Or perception?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- UNKNOWN: Seven.
- Will (Nat): Seven.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You don't recognize the clothes or anything like that.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Uh, so that...
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay, now I feel like that was...
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay, I know that's one thing that I'm going to go to the word.
- 2Feet (Steph): No, no, I don't think so of myself.
- 2Feet (Steph): I... Look under the bed.
- Will (Nat): Uh, there's nothing under the bed.
- Will (Nat): I mean, like, there's maybe like some boots.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): I, um, look at one of the door, I listen to one of the doors to my right.
- Will (Nat): Uh, there's no door.
- Will (Nat): Oh, okay.
- Will (Nat): So there's one more small door to your left if you're, you're, uh, like, conclusive on the left.
- 2Feet (Steph): I go that one.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Uh, you put your ear against it?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yep.
- Bones (Ben): There are lots of different types.
- Will (Nat): Okay, you don't hear anything inside that door.
- 2Feet (Steph): It's open.
- Will (Nat): It is a closet.
- Bones (Ben): It's a closet.
- Bones (Ben): Is there anything good?
- Bones (Ben): Just close?
- Will (Nat): Yeah, no, there's just, like, coats and, like, stuff that you would see, like, in a closet.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): I look at one of the other doors that are all this top of.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so there is the door that's now directly kind of behind you, and then the door.
- Will (Nat): So that's like towards the front of the house, and then there's one that's towards the back of the house, which is like where you came in from?
- Will (Nat): Okay, so you go back around the stairwell, and you come to another set of doors.
- Will (Nat): Listen to the door?
- Will (Nat): Uh-huh.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You hear the sounds of two men talking inside the room.
- Will (Nat): And give me a perception check.
- Bones (Ben): We're up to seven people that are identified that.
- Bones (Ben): Isn't part of staff so far.
- Will (Nat): Was that going to do?
- Will (Nat): You remember.
- 2Feet (Steph): Five.
- 2Feet (Steph): Five.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You vaguely recognize the voices, but you can't tell from where.
- Will (Nat): There we go.
- 2Feet (Steph): Give me a stealth check.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): 15 plus 7 to 22.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You creak the door slightly open.
- Will (Nat): Inside, Isaac, where are you going?
- Eli (Isaac): Here, Isaac, just come over here.
- Eli (Isaac): Stop going back and forth.
- Will (Nat): You creak, open the door, and look in.
- Will (Nat): It is almost exactly the same as the other room that you were just in, but inside the room you see two gentlemen who you recognize as...
- Will (Nat): Nicolai and Carl, these were the two gentlemen that you saw at the bar who were throwing the darts at the poster of the dark ward with the Baron's face on it.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm walking.
- Will (Nat): So you're pushing open the door all the way open?
- Eli (Isaac): They can't see you right now.
- Eli (Isaac): You have creaked to open the door just a little.
- Eli (Isaac): If you do that, they will become alerted to your presence.
- Eli (Isaac): They may not see you, but they'll know what something's going on.
- Bones (Ben): Weird that a door's opening all by itself.
- Bones (Ben): So choose wisely.
- Bones (Ben): Good moment.
- Eli (Isaac): You're there for the bone.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, so they are talking.
- Will (Nat): You can't really make out what they're saying because it's like the middle of the conversation, but you hear them say something about the feast of Andals, and they just need two more knights with the bones.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): I'll say.
- Eli (Isaac): You say, they can't, they don't know you're there.
- Will (Nat): He was doing like this, I think he's saying to you.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So now, what are you doing now?
- 2Feet (Steph): I like this, go to the door.
- Will (Nat): To the last door?
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You go to the last door.
- Will (Nat): What do you do?
- Will (Nat): You're staring at the door.
- Will (Nat): Give me another perception check.
- Will (Nat): That looks like a freak.
- Will (Nat): It is a solid door.
- Will (Nat): You put your ear up against it.
- Will (Nat): You can't hear anything into it.
- Will (Nat): It's like this is one of the nicer doors inside the house.
- Bones (Ben): Remember everyone needs that distraction, distraction, distraction?
- Bones (Ben): Well, but right now, why, though?
- Bones (Ben): Because if you're going to try opening this door in that middle, it might be good to cause a distraction on front for him.
- Eli (Isaac): I don't know that we want to, maybe.
- Eli (Isaac): I don't know that we want to risk that if.
- 2Feet (Steph): I've got thought out what I should do this.
- 2Feet (Steph): I click the door but not so slightly.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): This is a much bigger bedroom.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, than the other room.
- Will (Nat): From where you creep open the door, you can see a small closet, you can see a fireplace, and you can see a bed to the left, but you can't really see much more.
- Will (Nat): You have to go in in order to get another.
- Will (Nat): Okay, you go into the room.
- Will (Nat): Across the door, fire sputters and struggles for life in the heart.
- Will (Nat): Above which hangs a framed family portrait, a noble father and mother.
- Will (Nat): Their two young sons and a baby daughter in the father's arms.
- Will (Nat): The sons are smiling in a way that suggests mischiefs.
- Will (Nat): The parents look like uncrowned royalty.
- Will (Nat): Wood paneling covers the walls of the room.
- Will (Nat): A closet and a framed mirror flanked the curtain windows to the south.
- Will (Nat): To the north, a wide canopy bed lies pinned between matches, matching tables with oil lamps.
- Will (Nat): Stretched out on one side of the bed is a man dressed in black.
- Will (Nat): His eyes each covered with copper pieces.
- Will (Nat): He bears a striking resemblance to the father in the painting.
- Will (Nat): There is a...
- Eli (Isaac): Stretched out on man dressed in all black.
- Eli (Isaac): Other than that guy, there's no white people woke.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): I don't know.
- Eli (Isaac): Do you think the bones could be hidden in here, in your opinion?
- Eli (Isaac): I don't know.
- Eli (Isaac): We don't see what you see.
- Eli (Isaac): It's worth the risk to sneak in and try and look around and see if there's, you know, like anything in there.
- Eli (Isaac): Because if it's just a blank room with just a date of that, like, or not black room, but like there's a thing.
- Eli (Isaac): I don't know that there's anywhere that the bones could be hidden.
- Bones (Ben): We know the two guys said that they just need two more nights with the bone, so they know.
- Eli (Isaac): They're in the house, yeah, but I'm asking if they're in that room.
- Eli (Isaac): Like, so he's opened the room and there's this, is it worth going in and investigating more, or should he go back to the one that he didn't, or one of the ones he didn't investigate yet?
- Eli (Isaac): That's what I'm at.
- 2Feet (Steph): No, I should go try to walk pick the locked room.
- Bones (Ben): Uh-huh.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): Which is the other one that out?
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Will (Nat): All right, so you back out of this room and you go towards the middle room in the back hallway.
- Will (Nat): There is the lock door.
- Will (Nat): This is why we should be ready with the distraction.
- Will (Nat): You go to try to pick the lock.
- 2Feet (Steph): So 17 plus 2 to 19.
- Bones (Ben): I thought you had a question C plus X for a picking lock.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): So the 23.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Will (Nat): All right, so the door unlocks.
- Will (Nat): I open the door.
- Will (Nat): I was surprised.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): The room is musty and dark.
- Will (Nat): An iron frame bed fitting with leather straps stands near the wall.
- Will (Nat): The place has no other furnishings.
- Will (Nat): Scurring away on all four is a young woman in a soiled nightdown.
- Will (Nat): She leaps onto the bed and hisses like a cat.
- Will (Nat): Little kitty doesn't know you, she shouts.
- Eli (Isaac): Little kiddie doesn't like the smell of you, she shouts.
- 2Feet (Steph): Destruction, distraction.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, okay.
- Eli (Isaac): So I'm out, Fred.
- Eli (Isaac): Can you just give us a brief from where we are at this moment?
- Will (Nat): Yes.
- Will (Nat): So you guys are in front of the house.
- Will (Nat): Izek and Lady Fiona Watcher are, like, arguing up front.
- Will (Nat): There is...
- Will (Nat): The gardens to your left, like, we'll say quite a bit back, and then the path around to the right to the cellar, excuse me, that's your right.
- Will (Nat): The gardens are to your left.
- Will (Nat): You're, let's say, 15 feet from, or maybe 10 feet, we'll say, from the entrance to the house.
- Will (Nat): She's standing on the vestibule, which is like, if the house goes like this, the vestibule is here.
- Eli (Isaac): So I just bellow out, not in it like a mean, mean voice just because I don't want to get a text for her not being cheerful, but I just yell out as,
- 2Feet (Steph): What are we even really even doing here?
- Eli (Isaac): Just really loudly enough.
- Eli (Isaac): And the goal is not to make a huge amount of sense.
- Eli (Isaac): It's just to hopefully drown out any noise from upstairs.
- Eli (Isaac): And if they look at me like, I'm crazy, that's fine.
- Will (Nat): Give me a...
- Will (Nat): Performance.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, performance or deception.
- Will (Nat): Check.
- Eli (Isaac): Fantastic.
- Eli (Isaac): Both of these are not outstanding.
- Eli (Isaac): So on 11.
- Eli (Isaac): Eleven?
- Eli (Isaac): Hold on.
- Eli (Isaac): Is this what we're mainly doing today?
- Eli (Isaac): Hold on.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm going to use, yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm going to use a D10.
- Eli (Isaac): Hold on a second.
- Eli (Isaac): I need to add a D10 to my score.
- Eli (Isaac): That was just a better.
- Eli (Isaac): That's a D8.
- Eli (Isaac): Do you want more water?
- Eli (Isaac): Good.
- Eli (Isaac): So that, at least, is a 21.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So Lady Fiona Watcher sees this, and she goes, this is exactly what I am talking about.
- Will (Nat): What are we even doing here?
- Will (Nat): Good day to you, is it?
- Will (Nat): Go and tell the Baron that...
- Will (Nat): There is no malice here.
- Will (Nat): There is nothing to be found.
- Will (Nat): And leave us to our book club.
- Will (Nat): And she walks back in and slams the door shut.
- Will (Nat): Totally worth it.
- Eli (Isaac): But they didn't hear about her anyway.
- Eli (Isaac): Now you, I'd suggest you close to the door.
- 2Feet (Steph): I close the door and I go down.
- 2Feet (Steph): I watch someone like the stairs to do what she's doing.
- Bones (Ben): Do you know how long it's then?
- Bones (Ben): I would double check your time.
- Will (Nat): Oh, yeah.
- Will (Nat): Let's see.
- Will (Nat): We'll say it's about halfway through, because remember you put the hat back on there.
- Will (Nat): And you've got one more charge of it as well.
- Will (Nat): Yep.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So, you go back out towards the stairs.
- Will (Nat): You look down.
- Will (Nat): You see Lady Watcher come in, look up the stairs, almost as if she's looking at you.
- Will (Nat): But like, she doesn't appear to be kind of seeing you.
- Will (Nat): She's just kind of looking around.
- Will (Nat): And then she calls for the boys.
- Will (Nat): She says, boys, get down here.
- Will (Nat): We've got work to do.
- Will (Nat): And then goes off to, from your perspective to the right, so towards the left house.
- Will (Nat): Going towards the stairwell that was coming down.
- Will (Nat): You hear immediately to your left, then walking towards the door and opening the door.
- Will (Nat): If they walk forward, they're going to hit you.
- Will (Nat): So I need to see from you a, let's see, a stealth...
- Will (Nat): check to move out of the way without being caught.
- Will (Nat): You have advanced on this because you're invisible.
- Bones (Ben): I would say acrobatic, but... Stuff is way better with the damage.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): 15 versus 3 plus 7 on the 10.
- 2Feet (Steph): Uh, 22.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So you walk out of the way.
- Will (Nat): And because of their, like, clob, clop, clobbing down, you stepping out of the way and, like, stepping on anything that would have made a creaking noise or anything like that is not there.
- Bones (Ben): So, while this happens, the door shuts, I want to, you know, just confer with, Izzyk, like, we have someone in the house right now.
- Eli (Isaac): No, don't tell me.
- Bones (Ben): No, no, I want to tell him that.
- Bones (Ben): You just saw lady, um, I don't want to say, I don't want to say, no, I'm not the kind of saying this part, like, he's in the house, but like, you just saw a lady watched her.
- Bones (Ben): deny you access to her home when you were commanded by the Baron to enter and investigate.
- Bones (Ben): Are you going to let someone impose their will upon the Baron?
- Will (Nat): Give me a persuasion check.
- Eli (Isaac): Do I do that?
- Eli (Isaac): Do I do that?
- Bones (Ben): doing math, I have to figure out where I need to mark it.
- Bones (Ben): Do you not have a spot for it?
- Bones (Ben): I'll put it right here right now.
- Bones (Ben): One, two, three.
- Bones (Ben): Lock.
- Bones (Ben): Do you name that luck real pick?
- Bones (Ben): What do you have luck from?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, I have luck.
- Bones (Ben): What's right here?
- Bones (Ben): Lock feet, lucky.
- Will (Nat): Okay, it's lucky, okay.
- Will (Nat): That's better.
- Will (Nat): Sixteen.
- Will (Nat): He says, we discussed with her, and it doesn't appear that she had anything inside.
- Will (Nat): I don't know if there's any more that we can do.
- 2Feet (Steph): What about...
- Bones (Ben): I don't have your own thing you're still working on.
- Bones (Ben): This is happening simultaneously to you.
- Bones (Ben): To you dodging away from the guy.
- Eli (Isaac): Can you investigate the external part of the door where we saw the flee in?
- Will (Nat): He says that he would be able to do that.
- Eli (Isaac): Maybe we can walk around the side door and just go look.
- Will (Nat): So they agree and start walking around towards the side of the house where you all supposedly saw the undead enter.
- Bones (Ben): And we just quickly confirm.
- Bones (Ben): Eli, what was the house braids into the cellar?
- 2Feet (Steph): The cellar was, tell me if I'm correct on it.
- 2Feet (Steph): Made the dead.
- 2Feet (Steph): Let the dead play a breath.
- 2Feet (Steph): Made the dead.
- Will (Nat): Rema at rest.
- Will (Nat): Hold on.
- Will (Nat): Let's say it again.
- Will (Nat): May the dead remain at rest.
- 2Feet (Steph): Left.
- Bones (Ben): It's important to pass code if you're making a thing about the word.
- 2Feet (Steph): Let's the dead stay at rest.
- 2Feet (Steph): Remain at rest.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): I wrote it down in this case.
- Bones (Ben): Yep.
- Bones (Ben): Good.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So you guys are going towards there.
- Will (Nat): Are you going to try and convince them to go into the basement themselves?
- Eli (Isaac): I see that's possible.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm hoping to see some sort of like if there's something outside, but really I don't have much of a plan.
- Eli (Isaac): Well, my plan is to help me.
- Bones (Ben): My plan is probably about this because now we have someone inside the house who is not outside of the door that we know is unlocked.
- Bones (Ben): Well, we may or may not know.
- Bones (Ben): I don't think he said it to us.
- Bones (Ben): But he blocked in the house with a whole bunch of people that would hurt him.
- Eli (Isaac): Well, they all heads to the basement, right?
- Eli (Isaac): So she was going to the meeting.
- Eli (Isaac): She said she was going to be right there.
- Eli (Isaac): So her and the two dudes just went downstairs to go to the downstairs meeting.
- Eli (Isaac): So right now, he's two floors away.
- Eli (Isaac): I know we have a person inside, but we really need to stop giving these people this information because I don't think it's on the other side.
- Eli (Isaac): So don't tell him that.
- Eli (Isaac): That's illegal too.
- Bones (Ben): Well, I'm more than just trying to cause a distraction.
- Bones (Ben): I'm not trying to tell him to.
- Eli (Isaac): So going in like, so what I'm pointing out is that everyone is downstairs.
- Eli (Isaac): So if we're down there and we're looking at the door down, that goes down to stairs down to where all of them are,
- Eli (Isaac): If you want to bang on the door there, that would probably draw them over there.
- Eli (Isaac): However, they are right now two floors away from Isaac.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm just pointing out.
- Bones (Ben): And I also just want to cause Isaac to have physical proof that something is nefarious going on.
- Eli (Isaac): Right, but that's going to be real hard because he's not going to go inside.
- Eli (Isaac): So the most we can do.
- Eli (Isaac): We don't know that.
- Bones (Ben): We don't know if he's not going to go inside.
- Bones (Ben): If he has a secret entrance.
- Eli (Isaac): But it's not a secret entrance.
- Eli (Isaac): It's just a door.
- Bones (Ben): It's just a... No, it's a swivel door.
- Eli (Isaac): No, that was up at the top of the stairs.
- Bones (Ben): We would have to... No, it's also like the basement when the three ladies...
- Will (Nat): There is a secret door, but that's in the cellar.
- Eli (Isaac): It's inside the cellar.
- Eli (Isaac): Right, there's a door.
- Eli (Isaac): It's a normal door that is the door that they have to go through first and go downstairs, right?
- Eli (Isaac): Right.
- Eli (Isaac): He's not going to go through that door.
- Bones (Ben): We don't know that unless we keep pushing.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): I mean, you can keep going.
- Eli (Isaac): I think that he's not going to be willing to go in without proof, and I don't think right now we have proof.
- Bones (Ben): And he has an order from the baron.
- Bones (Ben): That's what I, to investigate.
- Bones (Ben): So you were going to go back to your baron without investigating, what was that?
- Bones (Ben): You continue to try and claim a mouse.
- Bones (Ben): You're just going to let any citizens say, there's no problem here.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): So he's the one, he's the one talking into here.
- Will (Nat): So yeah, you've said that.
- Will (Nat): So he's going, now you guys are going towards the back of it, and you're trying to convince him to go inside?
- Bones (Ben): I'm not going to convince him to investigate further, because...
- Bones (Ben): If the claim of, if you're here to investigate the claim of malice, and the person that is, we are saying is the one perpetrating the malice is saying, oh, I didn't do anything.
- Bones (Ben): There's nothing wrong here.
- Bones (Ben): If we just take them for the word, then any citizen could be nefarious and just tell the baron, I'm not doing what you're saying, I'm doing, and you just stop investigating.
- Bones (Ben): That's not okay.
- Bones (Ben): That's not doing your job.
- Bones (Ben): You're not following the baron's orders at that point.
- Will (Nat): Um, right, so.
- Will (Nat): I will say he's convinced from the conversation that he was having with Lady Watchder that there was nothing going on.
- Will (Nat): We'll say that there was said, she said that one of her book club members were coming in, and that's what we had mistaken as a vampire spawn, and that we were chasing and all of this.
- Will (Nat): So he's pretty convinced.
- Will (Nat): You've managed to, with the Proficion
- Will (Nat): cellar door into there to see that there's going to be some evidence that's here.
- Bones (Ben): So then I would say, then why would a book club ladies go through the cellar door for book club?
- Bones (Ben): You go through the front door.
- Eli (Isaac): I don't ever want to live in a place that your character brought.
- Eli (Isaac): Because first of all, that's where they're meeting is.
- Bones (Ben): That's where the wine is.
- Bones (Ben): Circans go and get the wine.
- Bones (Ben): You don't have your meeting in the cellar.
- Bones (Ben): You have it in the main.
- Will (Nat): He's not, he's not buying it.
- Will (Nat): So.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): So now we can go back to Isaac, though.
- 2Feet (Steph): Before I say anything, I would just like to say, all book clubs and clubs are different, okay?
- 2Feet (Steph): I understand they all are different.
- 2Feet (Steph): I don't know, maybe.
- 2Feet (Steph): I won't like that.
- Bones (Ben): So in many evil times, who would actually have a book club in a basement?
- Bones (Ben): That woman.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, you would have it out on tables, you'd have your tea time stuff set up, you'd have food, your drinks.
- Bones (Ben): You would do.
- Eli (Isaac): You were reading Frankenstein.
- Bones (Ben): No, no, no.
- Bones (Ben): Lady Watcher is not Stephanie Walter.
- Bones (Ben): Is not, I don't think, Walter.
- Bones (Ben): But I'm saying, like, this is someone of royalty of noble birth, they would be putting on, like, a whole schtip.
- Bones (Ben): Sure.
- 2Feet (Steph): Well, and.
- Bones (Ben): Now, they're not here.
- Bones (Ben): I'm not here.
- Bones (Ben): I'm just hearing this through the telepath.
- Bones (Ben): No, we're not activating it.
- Bones (Ben): We're not really talking.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, we're not.
- Bones (Ben): This is above board, too.
- Bones (Ben): So, okay, so he won't push your name further.
- Bones (Ben): And so I'll say, I'll say, Eli, you're on your phone now.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): What we can do if you want to bring there to, not bring Indy's attention to anything, but if you want to maybe have them come up to that door, I don't know if that's a gold beer, but if you wanted to, we could just be like, you know, and in this, you know, follow the construction door and just bang on it really quick, not as we're actually knocking.
- Eli (Isaac): but just have the effective banging on it, which might bring them up if you want to create another box.
- Eli (Isaac): That's exactly what I want to do.
- Eli (Isaac): You want to create another bug.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay, so while we're talking, I get the idea that he just wants to create a little more buzz, even though it's going to cause trouble, honestly.
- Eli (Isaac): So we just kind of look at the door, and I'm like, you know, they came right in, and they went right in through here.
- Eli (Isaac): And when I do that, I just kind of like bang on the door like three times.
- Eli (Isaac): Not like, hi, I'm knocking, but from the inside, it would just have like three bangs.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): I don't know if it's going to work, but that's what we do.
- Will (Nat): Great job.
- Will (Nat): You bang on it three times.
- Will (Nat): You hear a loud like, kachm, kachn, as you know, bang on a cellar.
- Will (Nat): Not immediately.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): So I tell I think he's on his own and, oh, sorry, Eli, I thought he's on his own.
- Bones (Ben): We have to leave.
- Bones (Ben): They're not investigating him further.
- Bones (Ben): Check the room with the boys in it.
- Eli (Isaac): We're hanging out.
- Eli (Isaac): We're not walking off.
- Eli (Isaac): No, look.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm so, yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): We're not able to get inside.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): I, um, I walk, I follow the boys down.
- Will (Nat): Wait, no, you were supposed to look at the room that they were in.
- Will (Nat): You were supposed to find the phones.
- Will (Nat): Okay, you go into the room.
- Will (Nat): It is exactly as the other room was.
- Will (Nat): It's a bedroom containing nothing out of the ordinary, a newly made bed, a table with an oil lamp on it, a handsome wooden chest, a slender wardrobe, and a window box with drapes.
- Will (Nat): It is exactly the other room.
- Will (Nat): It's almost as if, like, they have the exact same room.
- Eli (Isaac): We have two of those.
- Eli (Isaac): We have the master bedroom, the double doors.
- Will (Nat): The double doors, which you haven't come through yet.
- Eli (Isaac): We heard the, lots of animals in there.
- Eli (Isaac): Then there was the Kitty Crazy Lady.
- Eli (Isaac): Mm-hmm.
- Eli (Isaac): Child, by the way.
- Eli (Isaac): Child, okay, child, okay, that's important.
- Eli (Isaac): So if the child, we have the, did we have any missing children or anything?
- Bones (Ben): We have not been told of any missing children.
- Will (Nat): So you have, but like, you've also been told of a missing child, but like that's...
- Will (Nat): I will tell you, like, above board, that's not, yes.
- Will (Nat): Because the crazy lady, back at the other one.
- Eli (Isaac): So we have the little girl, we have the room they were just in, we have the other room that was similar to that.
- Eli (Isaac): We have the devil doors, which is the animals.
- Eli (Isaac): And then there was...
- Eli (Isaac): The master bedroom.
- Eli (Isaac): The master bedroom was where the guy was lying out.
- Bones (Ben): The coins on his eyes.
- Eli (Isaac): The coins on his eyes.
- Bones (Ben): And you just need a check like wardrobe and the chess in this other room.
- Eli (Isaac): Now, do we, does any one of us have knowledge of what the coins on the eyes mean?
- Eli (Isaac): Because I've been repeatedly pointed out that the lore of this world is different from the lore of other worlds.
- Eli (Isaac): So do we have knowledge of what that means?
- Will (Nat): Give me either a history, insight, or we'll say arcana check.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, because mine are not great for those things.
- Eli (Isaac): And I'll do it as well.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, no, I have a four.
- Bones (Ben): would be 13 or, I don't think, 13, 53, Arcona, what is the other one?
- Will (Nat): We can do religion or insight.
- Will (Nat): 16.
- Will (Nat): 16.
- Will (Nat): Usually it's to pay the ferryman to get across whatever the... Like, to get over from... To the other side.
- Eli (Isaac): But I'd like him to check to make sure the bones are not on that person's person.
- Eli (Isaac): Because I could see that being part
- Bones (Ben): So two things he needs to do.
- Bones (Ben): He needs to check the room that the boy's wearing the chest and the chest and then go back into that room.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, no, he's not in there right now.
- Eli (Isaac): So since you're in there, why don't you check the chest?
- Eli (Isaac): I check the chest.
- Will (Nat): It's exactly as the other room.
- Will (Nat): It is exactly as the other chest closed.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): So I view, I think you should just don't touch the body and be as stealthy as you possibly can, look for traps and whatnot, but can you see if the bones are on the body of the person in the master bedroom?
- 2Feet (Steph): I can see.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so you walk into the master bedroom.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so inside the master bedroom, I'll describe the room again.
- Will (Nat): Across the door, the fire sputters and struggles for life in the heart.
- Will (Nat): Above which hangs a framed family portrait, a noble father and mother, their two young sons and a baby daughter in their father's arms.
- Will (Nat): The sons are smiling in a way that suggests mischief.
- Will (Nat): The parents look like uncrowned royalty.
- Will (Nat): Wood paneling covers the halls of the room.
- Will (Nat): A closet and a framed mirror flanked a curtain window in the south.
- Will (Nat): To the north, a wide canopy bed lies pinned between two matching end tables with oil lamps.
- Will (Nat): Stretch out on the side of the bed is a man dressed in black.
- Will (Nat): His eyes each covered with a copper piece.
- Will (Nat): He bears a striking resemblance to the father in the painting.
- Eli (Isaac): Is the woman in the painting the lady?
- Bones (Ben): Yes.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): Real quick.
- Bones (Ben): Do we remember what Father Lucian said that the bones do specifically?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): He didn't say, I don't think.
- Eli (Isaac): He said it was generally a base protection.
- Eli (Isaac): I was trying to figure out if there was some... Well, I'm assuming the boys are the boys in the picture.
- Eli (Isaac): No, no.
- Bones (Ben): I'll see more of the effect of the bones in terms of how it's interacting with certain aspects of the house.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): On here, you see the body of an impeccably dressed, quite deceased man lying in bed.
- Will (Nat): Like, he looks quite well-preserved, we'll call it.
- Will (Nat): But he is definitely dead.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay, taking the coins that will wake him up.
- Eli (Isaac): Because then we could just deal on it.
- Eli (Isaac): No, but if it's part of a ritual or something, then that might mess up the ritual.
- Bones (Ben): Because if it's two days, they just need two more days with the bones.
- Will (Nat): Give me a favor, Isaac, give me an Arcana check.
- Eli (Isaac): Hi, Carla?
- UNKNOWN: Mm-hmm.
- Eli (Isaac): Not too bad.
- Eli (Isaac): Nope.
- Will (Nat): That's not one.
- Will (Nat): No, you're just like, I don't understand how, like, this guy is dead, but he does not look dead.
- Will (Nat): I don't understand how this is happening.
- Eli (Isaac): All right, so I think that we may have to check, is there a way we can check out that room with the animal?
- Will (Nat): So I'm just going to throw out here, there is a closet in this room, there is a fireplace in this room, there are other things inside the room.
- Bones (Ben): So do an investigation check for the whole room.
- 2Feet (Steph): So you're investigating the room.
- Will (Nat): So you're investigating the room.
- 2Feet (Steph): 16 plus 2, the 18.
- Will (Nat): 18.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): What specifically are you investigating now?
- 2Feet (Steph): You can't just say the whole little.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Inside the closet, you open up the closet, and there are fine clothes inside there, black ceremonial robes with a hood, similar to the ones that you saw downstairs.
- Will (Nat): There's also shelves that are up.
- Will (Nat): tall that are up there and on top of one of the shelves you see a locked iron chest um yeah that is what you see uh inside there yeah uh how big is the chest like can he pick it up and take it um like within reason like he could pick up the chest but like it's
- Will (Nat): Like, stealth goes out of the window.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, yeah.
- Will (Nat): And also it's invisible, so it would just be like a giant floating chest.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, I understand that.
- Bones (Ben): So what do you want to do with an iron locked chest?
- Eli (Isaac): I don't know.
- Eli (Isaac): Well, okay, so there's, you said that was on the top shelf.
- Eli (Isaac): What was on that?
- Eli (Isaac): There was any wealth of interest?
- Eli (Isaac): The clothes that were there.
- Will (Nat): I mean, there's other things in the room, too, right?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, so before you lock like that, can you check everything else?
- Eli (Isaac): I'm going to investigate the file.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): 15, 70, 70.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You search through the fireplace.
- Will (Nat): The flames are kind of dying down, so you're able to kind of look in a little bit.
- Will (Nat): And kind of up in the fireplace, you see a nice hook.
- Will (Nat): On that hook, you see a key.
- Bones (Ben): Ooh.
- Bones (Ben): Makes your lock picking a lot easier.
- 2Feet (Steph): I think I what to do.
- 2Feet (Steph): Click up the key.
- 2Feet (Steph): In the fiber.
- Will (Nat): No, no, no, no, no.
- Will (Nat): Like, you can go up and get this.
- Will (Nat): Oh, yeah, yeah.
- Will (Nat): Sorry.
- 2Feet (Steph): I thought you were, like, eating the pyre.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay, no, I take the key.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so you now have a small iron key.
- 2Feet (Steph): I go to the iron chest in the closet.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): And I unlock.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so you use the key to unlock.
- Will (Nat): As you do, you see, give me actually a perception check.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Okay, you see, as you stick the key in, from the sides of the chest, two small holes open and needles come out.
- Will (Nat): And as you turn the key, the needles slide back in and close, the trap being disabled.
- 2Feet (Steph): I open the chest.
- Will (Nat): You open the chest.
- Will (Nat): Inside the chest, you see a collection of bones, and you see...
- Will (Nat): a hilt of a sword.
- Will (Nat): And as you see the hilt of the sword, you feel a strong emotion of, like, desire to be free, wash over you.
- Will (Nat): From the hilt of the sword.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh.
- 2Feet (Steph): I grab the bones.
- Bones (Ben): Do you have a spatula or back on you?
- Will (Nat): He's got his bag of holding.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): You remember if he gave him to a tooth or not.
- 2Feet (Steph): I walk out.
- 2Feet (Steph): Just grabbing the bones or are you grabbing the hilts as well?
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): Are you communicating this to us?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): I would also like to remind him, please re-lock the box.
- 2Feet (Steph): I lock the box.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): I lock the key back or whatever.
- 2Feet (Steph): I lock it, put the key back, and then you close the door.
- Eli (Isaac): Does there anything else in them to explore?
- Will (Nat): Just might as well.
- Will (Nat): No.
- Will (Nat): Oh, actually, yes.
- Will (Nat): Do you do-do-do-d-d-d-d-d.
- 2Feet (Steph): That's it.
- 2Feet (Steph): Um, no, no, no, no.
- Will (Nat): Those are the only things inside the other.
- Eli (Isaac): All right.
- Eli (Isaac): So you got those things.
- Eli (Isaac): Now the key is we need to get you out as quietly as possible.
- Eli (Isaac): Now, as far as I can tell, everybody went outside, so I think you should go down to that door you unlocked previously and just walk your way out.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): I would go off the door.
- Eli (Isaac): I would reset your, I'm assuming at this point you need to reset his door.
- Eli (Isaac): No, well, it's maybe, but I wouldn't reset it unless he has to.
- Bones (Ben): Because I think he was at the end, he would be at the end of it.
- 2Feet (Steph): Like a minute left?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, we'll say like a minute or two minutes.
- Will (Nat): Okay, I'd go downstairs.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so you come out, you go around the stairwell, you go down the stairs.
- Will (Nat): As you go down the stairs, I want you to give me a stealth check.
- 2Feet (Steph): I believe in you.
- Will (Nat): Okay, that's fine.
- Will (Nat): You imagine to go down without making a noise.
- Will (Nat): Uh, you're now facing the door to the front festival.
- Will (Nat): Uh, you know the path to get you back to where you were, uh, to go right through the dining room, right through the den, right through the serving hall, right again to the back pantry and then out the back door.
- Will (Nat): Or, you know, you can just go forward through the front door.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Uh, that's a, that's a hard one because it's a lot of chances to get caught around, going around or going straight through.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Uh,
- Will (Nat): So the vestibule that you're in has three stained glass doors and wooden frames leading from it.
- Will (Nat): The front one leads to the outside.
- Will (Nat): You go to open the door and it is locked.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so I'm going to need two things from you.
- Will (Nat): One, I'm going to need a stealth check.
- Will (Nat): Wait, can he lock it while he's... Invisible, yeah, he's not using magic action.
- Will (Nat): So I need a stealth check.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): With the name or without?
- Will (Nat): Just clean.
- 2Feet (Steph): Two, plus that, so nine.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): And then lock the thing.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So you unlock the door, and the door starts to slide open.
- Will (Nat): As you do this, a man in a chef's outfit, you know, with the hat and the whole thing, kind of like, you know, what is going on?
- Will (Nat): What is going on?
- Will (Nat): Who opens a door?
- Bones (Ben): You don't have to respond.
- 2Feet (Steph): I sprint through the door.
- Will (Nat): So the door opens as you sprint through it, and he says, what is going on?
- Will (Nat): And he starts to run back.
- Will (Nat): And you can hear him saying, Leader Watcher!
- Will (Nat): Leader Watcher!
- Will (Nat): Someone is at the door!
- Eli (Isaac): And is he outside this point?
- Will (Nat): Eli is outside.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): You just keep running.
- Eli (Isaac): I run to the church.
- Eli (Isaac): I brought to the church.
- Eli (Isaac): And we are exposing our way to the church.
- Eli (Isaac): We come out.
- Eli (Isaac): We're like, what was all that ruckets?
- Eli (Isaac): I don't know.
- Eli (Isaac): I guess we're going to go to the church now.
- Eli (Isaac): All this is it does.
- Eli (Isaac): I have a boat.
- Bones (Ben): And I just say, you know, I wanted to investigate further because we believe we were trying to carry out the baron's request.
- Eli (Isaac): But I guess we're going to just have to think about this tomorrow.
- 2Feet (Steph): I say, I have the boat.
- 2Feet (Steph): I have the book.
- Eli (Isaac): Yep, we hear you.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): And I'm at the church.
- Eli (Isaac): We don't know that one.
- Eli (Isaac): So don't get to anyone yet.
- Eli (Isaac): You just keep your cap on.
- Eli (Isaac): And even if you're out of the church, just keep your cap on.
- Will (Nat): So as he's running, the time starts to wear out.
- Will (Nat): So you start phasing into visibility, kind of, we'll say, like halfway towards the church.
- Will (Nat): And Isaac says, this was a waste of the baron's time.
- Will (Nat): You have met an enemy this day and walks off from you.
- Eli (Isaac): What if we find actual proof, though?
- Will (Nat): Then he says that will be a discussion for another time.
- 2Feet (Steph): Am I at the church now?
- Will (Nat): Yeah, we can say that you all...
- Will (Nat): I'm not on the door.
- Will (Nat): Okay?
- Will (Nat): The church site.
- Will (Nat): Let's say you all are now convened at the entrance to the abbey to the church.
- Eli (Isaac): Do we want to, like, can you, with the better archaunt, I assume you're better.
- Eli (Isaac): Nope.
- Eli (Isaac): I do not have better archaicons.
- Eli (Isaac): Will has really good archery.
- Eli (Isaac): Can he examine the bones and see if there's anything?
- Eli (Isaac): Like, because we've learned some stuff about it, but we haven't learned a lot of other stuff.
- Eli (Isaac): What's going on?
- Eli (Isaac): I feel like we're not over-getting all the story.
- Will (Nat): 15 plus 7.
- Will (Nat): So we'll look at the bones and says, I have no idea how these things work.
- Will (Nat): I don't sense any magic from these bones.
- Will (Nat): This seems.
- Bones (Ben): I don't know.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): So do you want to show them to follow the solution?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, I can definitely share them with follow luci, but I also do we know about the sword or now?
- Bones (Ben): Did you tell us about the sword, or are you keeping this part to myself?
- Bones (Ben): I just wanted to know, is this a talking sword?
- Will (Nat): It is just the hilt.
- Will (Nat): It is just the hilt.
- Will (Nat): It's not talking, we'll say, but, like, Isaac holding it, or L-D-O-I holding it, definitely feels like emotion coming from it.
- Eli (Isaac): So can we go in and talk to Father Lucius, say, we found these, or at least the right one?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, I have high father Louisiana.
- 2Feet (Steph): Louisiana.
- 2Feet (Steph): We have these bones.
- 2Feet (Steph): We're not fully sure if these are bones you were looking for.
- 2Feet (Steph): These dice might also be it.
- Will (Nat): These dice?
- 2Feet (Steph): Dice.
- 2Feet (Steph): Dice also called the bones.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, bones.
- 2Feet (Steph): No, I don't say that.
- 2Feet (Steph): I got it.
- Will (Nat): So Father Lucian takes a look at the bones, and he looks at you quizzically.
- Will (Nat): and says, I don't, these, yeah, like, these are just, I don't know what these, who these bones belong to.
- Bones (Ben): You know, I think we didn't know what, Ocean's 11.
- Bones (Ben): No, it was too easy.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, I don't know, yeah, I can.
- Will (Nat): try and maybe figure out who these below... No, no.
- Will (Nat): But these aren't the...
- Will (Nat): These are not...
- Eli (Isaac): This isn't the... Can we describe the solution, or can you describe to him the people you saw in the room and see if he recognizes who they are or anything about him?
- Eli (Isaac): You know the two guys.
- Eli (Isaac): No, which... No, which... No, no.
- Eli (Isaac): So, but they weren't the ones that were already in the room.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, no.
- Eli (Isaac): When he walked in the room, there were already...
- Eli (Isaac): There was this guy right here.
- Eli (Isaac): But there were the two gentlemen.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, this one was the one guy in.
- Eli (Isaac): Can you ask him if he recognized or knows like those people?
- Will (Nat): So you describe them.
- Will (Nat): No, no, no, no.
- Will (Nat): This is Isaac.
- Will (Nat): This is the guy who was coming.
- Will (Nat): Why don't like Isaac?
- Will (Nat): He says he doesn't recognize them by description, but he wouldn't be surprised if those were the members of Lady Watchder's so-called book club.
- Eli (Isaac): Yes.
- Eli (Isaac): Can you just tell us straight because I don't remember if he told us this before?
- Eli (Isaac): As far as we can tell, they're trying to reincarnate...
- Eli (Isaac): the father of the house, is that something the bones can do?
- Bones (Ben): And the boys mentioned two days.
- Bones (Ben): They need the bone for two more days.
- Eli (Isaac): There was the time limit, but it looks like they're trying to resurrect somebody.
- Eli (Isaac): Is that something that these bones have the power to do?
- Will (Nat): He doesn't believe so.
- Will (Nat): He can't see, he's...
- Will (Nat): He says, I don't know of all forms of necromancy and witchcraft, but that does not strike me as something that the bones of St. Angel would aid.
- Eli (Isaac): Do you have any idea of what you would need the bones for, how long had they been missing?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): How long have they been missing?
- Will (Nat): No, it wasn't, it wasn't nearly a week.
- Will (Nat): It was.
- Will (Nat): It was.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, we're going to be ready for later.
- Bones (Ben): This is a very intense role-fighting without fighting.
- 2Feet (Steph): We have not gone like at all.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, no, this is fun.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, well, during the second.
- Eli (Isaac): All right, so my goal is to ask, the amount of time that the dogs have been stolen, plus two.
- Eli (Isaac): Is there a spell or something that you know of that would take that amount of time?
- Will (Nat): He does not, but he does say that, um...
- Eli (Isaac): Like, I know that you don't know everything.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Will (Nat): I want to see just how long they have been.
- Bones (Ben): Does it being vacated from the church that long?
- Will (Nat): He does say that, like, his concern is not that you can do anything with the bones, but that it's believing of the church unprotected is his fear.
- Eli (Isaac): And it's that that amount of time that it becomes permanent, or is it like...
- Eli (Isaac): He knows that every time limit, and that's what I'm trying to figure out.
- Will (Nat): He's unaware of anything that would be caused it to be there, but he says that if they have a time limit, they may be planning on doing something.
- Will (Nat): Or they're probably planning on doing something.
- UNKNOWN: Okay.
- Bones (Ben): And it was an immediate area, and not so much a whole area.
- Bones (Ben): So it was really just the vulnerability of protecting the church, not like the town itself.
- Bones (Ben): So they want access to the church for some nefarious reason, I'm assuming, like the protection spell.
- Eli (Isaac): What about, so this woman, her daughter, can you talk to us about her daughter?
- Will (Nat): He says that he knows that she was mistreated or treated very, very poorly by the watch Thursdays, both the parents and the brothers, and it wouldn't surprise her if her mind had been broken.
- Will (Nat): That makes sense.
- Bones (Ben): But then Malo leads me to believe that the bones were being protected by the animals.
- Eli (Isaac): I mean, that seems likely at the time.
- Eli (Isaac): It's just that was definitely a lot of emotion.
- Eli (Isaac): And so this was an attempt to rule out everything else before we're doing that.
- Bones (Ben): So we only have two nights, two days.
- Eli (Isaac): Can we call for a break at this event?
- Bones (Ben): We can.
- Eli (Isaac): We have a lot of thinking to do.
- UNKNOWN: Yep.
- Eli (Isaac): All right, let's break.
- Bones (Ben): Man, that is it?
- Bones (Ben): Oh, no wonder why I don't like him.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Like, I wouldn't put two and two together with you saying like he's against us, but I knew that with him.
- Will (Nat): Oh, yeah, no.
- Bones (Ben): Like, come on, obviously he is working with the group squad.
- Will (Nat): I mean, so not for nothing.
- Will (Nat): The way this goes is there's obviously two factions vying for power over the city.
- Will (Nat): The watchtors and the current barren.
- Bones (Ben): But obviously, the watcher has happened to inside van.
- Bones (Ben): I mean, that's one way I don't, I don't, I don't think, is that, I feel like, he's just a grunt.
- Eli (Isaac): Um, and he, he was just doing what he was told.
- Eli (Isaac): That's what he is.
- Eli (Isaac): He is, like, I think we.
- Will (Nat): I will tell you, in your time walking with him, you know that he is fiercely loyal to the, actually, okay.
- Will (Nat): He's not like, he is very, like, he is angry at you for wasting the baron's time, chasing after a,
- Will (Nat): obvious falsity.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Because he didn't put a whole lot of effort.
- Bones (Ben): He did.
- Will (Nat): I was just describing what was going on there.
- Will (Nat): They were... What is that?
- Will (Nat): It was a map to draw on.
- Will (Nat): Got it, got, got, got.
- Bones (Ben): Because to me, he was just so lazy about investigating.
- Bones (Ben): Isn't it?
- Eli (Isaac): All right, dude.
- Eli (Isaac): So...
- Eli (Isaac): I don't want to live in a world where someone can complain to the police and say, she's doing shady shit.
- Eli (Isaac): And the police comes to my door and knock on the door and they say, there's nothing here.
- Eli (Isaac): And they look around, there's nothing here.
- Eli (Isaac): And they say, no, no, no.
- Eli (Isaac): Also, I'm going to say...
- Will (Nat): Eli was in there for a good 10 minutes, and he was grilling, and the guards were grilling, and then we're going through that.
- Will (Nat): So we didn't play that one out, because that's, like, but that, what I was trying to get up with, they were a long back and forth of what is going on here, what is this, what's your explanation for this?
- Eli (Isaac): If the Baron's willing to send four guards to go investigate, he didn't really send four guards to investigate, he kind of sent four guards to, or five guards to humor up in the potential of there might be something to there are here.
- Eli (Isaac): That's a different thing.
- Bones (Ben): There's been five people to go to a house and say, oh, she said there's nothing going on.
- Will (Nat): There was a huge fight going on that was out there.
- Will (Nat): There was a big debate that was going on there.
- Will (Nat): That was the distraction, because if it was just that, it would have been, no, there's nothing going on.
- Will (Nat): Okay, fine, close the door and leave.
- Will (Nat): But that whole thing was going on for, let's say, 10 minutes of being interrogated.
- Bones (Ben): And since we didn't cover that, I was, and I was taking an ad, he wasn't doing a very good job.
- Bones (Ben): He was like, oh, you know, I like her.
- Bones (Ben): No, no, no, no, no.
- Bones (Ben): So that's my interpretation.
- Bones (Ben): We were there.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): That's why I was trying to have... No, no, no, no.
- Will (Nat): It was, it was a very, very thorough investigation.
- Bones (Ben): Because that I was trying to hound, like, we need to do more, like, we're softballing this.
- Bones (Ben): No, no, no, no.
- Bones (Ben): Because, yes, I am with you in reality, that perspective, but when it comes to this reality, this is a completely different world.
- Bones (Ben): Vampires at night.
- Bones (Ben): Yes.
- Bones (Ben): And look at that.
- Bones (Ben): He's not even smiling in this picture.
- Bones (Ben): That's not fair.
- Bones (Ben): He's just me.
- Bones (Ben): He's a run.
- Eli (Isaac): No, but it's against the last.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): She at least had a background from why she's not smiling.
- 2Feet (Steph): He's supposed to be... Well, maybe that picture was taken when you are, when you feel the ground.
- 2Feet (Steph): That would have been a day, wouldn't it?
- Bones (Ben): With how strict the... Now, there was one role either did, but I didn't know if you were just fudging it a little bit just to keep it going or not.
- Will (Nat): He ruled like a 13, but that might have been a... Do you remember what it was?
- Bones (Ben): A stealth check to not get noticed by...
- Bones (Ben): I think maybe it was by the boys.
- Bones (Ben): But no.
- Bones (Ben): I don't know.
- Bones (Ben): I don't think it was...
- Bones (Ben): I thought you didn't.
- Will (Nat): Dad.
- Bones (Ben): I was really hopeful.
- Bones (Ben): Now we just have... We stole some bones.
- Bones (Ben): Now I'd feel bad about it.
- Will (Nat): You stole the bones at a store of hilt that... Just being.
- Bones (Ben): With bing.
- Bones (Ben): With bing to be free.
- Bones (Ben): But we don't know about the hilt yet.
- Bones (Ben): Or Eli's keeping that to himself.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Because I really want to, you know, I enjoy the good secret, and I wanted you like to keep that, not have to share everything with that.
- 2Feet (Steph): Do I hear you want to get that?
- Bones (Ben): A bullet key, probably a couple.
- Bones (Ben): Aren't she supposed to be going?
- Bones (Ben): Ready?
- Bones (Ben): Now you have to go, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): You have to go west that way.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, that's up and down there?
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): So we don't help backwards, and you're going to have to go a long way backwards.
- Bones (Ben): or a long way forward to see.
- Eli (Isaac): So you're not moving, which is great.
- Bones (Ben): This is hard because you don't know which way it is.
- Bones (Ben): You know, why don't we have your cord is fine?
- Bones (Ben): No, it's just kind of untrathed.
- Bones (Ben): So cordon should be towards the top.
- Bones (Ben): Do you go again?
- Bones (Ben): It should be towards the top.
- Bones (Ben): All the ears, go down, hold.
- Bones (Ben): Move your back, move to that, right?
- Bones (Ben): So you know, you know you need to be around 88, but we don't know that we need to be cold.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, is there an arrow pointing?
- Bones (Ben): Oh, is there a arrow pointing?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): It's a locator.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, okay, so now, yeah, okay.
- Eli (Isaac): numbers.
- Eli (Isaac): Like, she is, I would say, and she still has to.
- Bones (Ben): Like, that one.
- Eli (Isaac): Are you trying to sit?
- Eli (Isaac): Yes, she gets, like, for, when she gets back in?
- 2Feet (Steph): So we can find other, so we can find other one.
- Eli (Isaac): Oops, she's not.
- Eli (Isaac): We don't get on the map.
- 2Feet (Steph): We got to the apartment.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yep.
- 2Feet (Steph): It's a little further.
- Bones (Ben): We don't know.
- Bones (Ben): I'm thinking this is planned and this is water.
- 2Feet (Steph): But my does your idea I just found, I thought I want to be around needed and I think so.
- Bones (Ben): That would like, um.
- Bones (Ben): No, no, no.
- Bones (Ben): No, no.
- Bones (Ben): You don't know.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, there's a mom.
- Will (Nat): Not a long.
- UNKNOWN: I wish half.
- UNKNOWN: And so, like you can't.
- UNKNOWN: I can't.
- UNKNOWN: Okay.
- Bones (Ben): You're going a little bit of food by you.
- Bones (Ben): Money and you get a nice and get me.
- Bones (Ben): You're going further.
- Bones (Ben): You're going further up.
- Bones (Ben): You got it.
- Bones (Ben): You got it.
- Bones (Ben): You got it.
- Bones (Ben): I think you're over here.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, that way, that way.
- Eli (Isaac): Now, you're straight there.
- 2Feet (Steph): And you have to convert them all the other than.
- UNKNOWN: Oh, there's nothing in a large chest.
- UNKNOWN: Oh, there's new bond.
- UNKNOWN: Yeah, get that and split that.
- UNKNOWN: Let's take out.
- UNKNOWN: She was doing, um, six.
- Eli (Isaac): Make no, put that away and a little bit of the other chest.
- Eli (Isaac): Nothing in a large chest.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, it's near mine.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): Uh, six, six, six.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): Let's go do it tight.
- 2Feet (Steph): But.
- 2Feet (Steph): But.
- Eli (Isaac): Honestly, she can't.
- Eli (Isaac): So, yeah, it takes her a long time.
- Eli (Isaac): I just go ahead of her.
- Eli (Isaac): She went her older sister, oh, it's fun.
- Eli (Isaac): Like, she's fun.
- Eli (Isaac): She's doing, like, P's and Q and all the stuff, and, like, it's geometry, so it's the beginning of that stuff and the logic of it.
- Eli (Isaac): And so, like, that is enjoyable.
- Eli (Isaac): She's, and she gave me a list, she's like, I don't understand why this one is true.
- Eli (Isaac): And I was like, well, if it's snowing, then you, then it is cold.
- Eli (Isaac): If it is snowing, then it is cold, or whatever you want to choose and, like, just throw it in.
- Eli (Isaac): I was pointing out that I'm going to, there's some people who took, like, famous arguments and famous speeches and put them through the law and, you can actually see the math of, like, this is, why this is a logically sound argument.
- Eli (Isaac): Mm-hmm.
- Eli (Isaac): Um, so I'm sorry.
- Eli (Isaac): I don't think that because her sister is just not having the same experience.
- Bones (Ben): Yep.
- Bones (Ben): Yep.
- Bones (Ben): Okay, yep, it looks like you full of number of that and I'll give a few more.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, I don't know, not the blue, no, that's right.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, I don't know if all right here.
- 2Feet (Steph): There's like us to put my face.
- 2Feet (Steph): That is here.
- Eli (Isaac): Right here.
- 2Feet (Steph): This one right there as well.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yep.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, it's right here!
- 2Feet (Steph): That's right here all around.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay, so we're up in where else.
- 2Feet (Steph): Draw bed.
- 2Feet (Steph): Here.
- 2Feet (Steph): No, no.
- 2Feet (Steph): No.
- Bones (Ben): No.
- Bones (Ben): A lot.
- Bones (Ben): Tomatoes?
- 2Feet (Steph): Try that barrel.
- 2Feet (Steph): But you're not at it.
- 2Feet (Steph): Try that barrel.
- 2Feet (Steph): Maybe is it a bearer?
- Bones (Ben): No, try it a little over there.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, maybe.
- Bones (Ben): Very good.
- Bones (Ben): But if you say that we're pulling there.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
- Bones (Ben): You have to dig.
- Bones (Ben): You're past it now.
- Bones (Ben): Go back.
- Bones (Ben): Pull your map.
- Bones (Ben): It might be down right.
- Bones (Ben): That was a camp?
- UNKNOWN: No.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): Go a pack?
- 2Feet (Steph): Because we just saw the outboard.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, it could have been a decoy.
- Bones (Ben): Tricky, tricky, tricky.
- 2Feet (Steph): Mm-hmm.
- 2Feet (Steph): Let's try and go up and go here.
- Bones (Ben): Well, we definitely need a rest.
- Bones (Ben): Um, well, they're all humans too.
- Bones (Ben): So I'm trying, like, protection versus good and evil is just so finicky.
- Bones (Ben): So I have to be able to call out the one I'm protecting us from.
- Bones (Ben): Now I not want to know who that little girl is.
- Bones (Ben): I'm assuming it's the daughter, based on the information provided, but, like, the way she phrased it with, I'm assuming you use the words from the model, like, the way she phrased it is so interesting.
- Bones (Ben): I don't like the smell like you're kidding.
- Bones (Ben): Something to that way.
- Will (Nat): No, it was, Kitty doesn't like you.
- Will (Nat): Kitty doesn't like your smell.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, because I was really nervous about Isaac being trapped in there.
- Bones (Ben): I was super nervous about that part.
- Bones (Ben): Because of course this guy, last week, our low fantasy campaign, I was already injured trying to protect a lady that we were trying to protect.
- Bones (Ben): And I rolled two net ones.
- Bones (Ben): And guess what?
- Bones (Ben): My character went, bye, bye.
- Bones (Ben): It happens.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): That's the knife.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, never made me really...
- Bones (Ben): I need to get on Switch to or PlayStation just because it takes so long to load up on the quadrants.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, while we wait, we can also introduce Isaac to you.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, yeah, actually.
- Bones (Ben): Isaac, go to the marketplace real quick.
- Bones (Ben): Any marketplace.
- Will (Nat): Yep.
- Bones (Ben): We'll have bought you something.
- Bones (Ben): For Minecraft.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, in here.
- Bones (Ben): Yep, she got you an add-on.
- UNKNOWN: What?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): That's so cool.
- Bones (Ben): She didn't, she hasn't added it to any world yet just here now.
- Bones (Ben): Up, up, up, up, up.
- Bones (Ben): Billiger.
- Bones (Ben): That one right there.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, Dad, they can talk.
- Bones (Ben): So go find some villagers when you get a chance, okay?
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay, I'm seeing this.
- 2Feet (Steph): This is interesting.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): I don't know.
- Bones (Ben): Just wait, just wait, let him find out on his own well.
- Bones (Ben): Because he doesn't know Villager News and he doesn't know.
- Bones (Ben): I watch Philadelphia News.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): No, we have the movie.
- 2Feet (Steph): I know about Older News.
- 2Feet (Steph): I am good.
- Bones (Ben): Did you just get rid of your book?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): I think the book helps you hear them.
- 2Feet (Steph): I think that was good time.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, you're saying.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, wait.
- 2Feet (Steph): Wait.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, my God.
- 2Feet (Steph): I can't really catch you.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, my God.
- Eli (Isaac): I can't literally catch you.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, my God.
- Bones (Ben): So this is something Lowe really likes and wanted to share with you.
- 2Feet (Steph): Wello.
- 2Feet (Steph): It's rare that they're going to intersect.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, you can't stay on it.
- Bones (Ben): It's rare that their interest or intersect.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, that's that buck roll to me too, for me.
- Bones (Ben): I don't, I don't, I feel the 10 or a 16.
- Bones (Ben): So I'm like, I don't feel good at 10.
- Will (Nat): A sin love a sinner.
- Will (Nat): So yeah, they have a full series and kind of track.
- Bones (Ben): They have a full series and kind of tracks, like follow the different, um, season add-ons that they do and has its own story.
- 2Feet (Steph): Two days.
- Bones (Ben): What are we going to do in two days?
- Bones (Ben): So much.
- Bones (Ben): How divergent would it be for the story if we succeed in the loan?
- Will (Nat): If we do or if we don't, it moves the story long.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Will (Nat): Like, it would just...
- Will (Nat): Either a thing will happen or thing won't happen.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): I've never actually listened to Hamilton.
- Will (Nat): I have because they are.
- Bones (Ben): This is my first exposure to Hamilton, by the way.
- Bones (Ben): First exposure.
- Bones (Ben): Beyond, oh, the name's not Jesse King James, the actor, why am I breathing his name, King Henry?
- Bones (Ben): Can we please?
- Bones (Ben): I know there's a few things you've done.
- Bones (Ben): No, no, no, no, I've been, like, I've seen him do a few shows or...
- Bones (Ben): podcast talking about this on that.
- Bones (Ben): But beyond that, I have never heard the music, never watched it when it was on Netflix.
- Bones (Ben): I think he was.
- Eli (Isaac): Well, I'm going to add to the show during the winter and coming to do things where we are like taking the way of flipping one and come with Willow.
- Eli (Isaac): We just, so I think he's heard the music for a while and we just watched it through for the first time this past week.
- Eli (Isaac): It's very emotional.
- 2Feet (Steph): I think, was it emotional?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yes.
- Eli (Isaac): There was some crying.
- Bones (Ben): Willow's not there yet for that type of show.
- Bones (Ben): She didn't do well at Blue Vic's play either, which was frustrating.
- Bones (Ben): It's very informative.
- Eli (Isaac): Mm-hmm.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, no, you can't do a Miranda Miranda show without it being like informative rap.
- Bones (Ben): Like that's where you feel.
- UNKNOWN: Alexander Hamilton.
- UNKNOWN: Isaac, you just about ready?
- UNKNOWN: Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): There he is.
- Will (Nat): All right.
- Will (Nat): All right.
- Will (Nat): All right, so we're back at the Church of Andals.
- Will (Nat): You have brought with you a pair of bones or a set of bones that are not the bones that the father has sent you out looking for.
- Will (Nat): You have, or Eli has a sword hilt that he is holding.
- Will (Nat): Holding secret.
- Will (Nat): Yes.
- Will (Nat): And, yeah, that is where we are.
- Bones (Ben): And it's like at 8 o'clock at night now?
- Will (Nat): Yeah, so it's now, like, getting really close towards the evening.
- Bones (Ben): So we know we have a deadline of two days.
- Eli (Isaac): If it's getting home to the evening, I think we're going to have to, like, can we sleep here?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, that's when we're going to do that.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, like, we sleep.
- Eli (Isaac): doing long rest or attempt to long rest to make it interrupted overnight and then go back in the morning I guess the father says while I would welcome you to stay here there's no room yeah there's no room but you can get a room at the end yeah we are we already have the food for the kids
- Bones (Ben): I don't recall we did it.
- Bones (Ben): When we first got into town.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, I recall going here.
- Will (Nat): I don't recall what you guys bought a room.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): I gave him.
- Eli (Isaac): Some coins.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, I gave him like two bucks.
- Eli (Isaac): Um, because.
- Eli (Isaac): Well, I think we did.
- Eli (Isaac): Did we, like, I think we did.
- Will (Nat): I don't recall that, uh, you guys had blocked a room.
- Will (Nat): But we're right.
- Bones (Ben): We're going to be here now for two nights.
- Will (Nat): No, this is still the first day that you got there.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): I swear we been.
- Bones (Ben): I think we did too, but I don't know how we could do it.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Cool.
- Bones (Ben): Cool.
- Bones (Ben): Who did?
- Bones (Ben): So if we're going to assume, like, maybe the protection is waiting off and that's what they're waiting for, why would they need to attack the church other than it being symbolic?
- Eli (Isaac): I think we've got to stop with assuming things.
- Eli (Isaac): I think we've got to not try to figure this part out.
- Eli (Isaac): I think we'll get more information.
- Eli (Isaac): But I think you do have to figure out.
- Eli (Isaac): There's a lot of other moving pieces here.
- Will (Nat): There's like... Yeah, you definitely didn't get it because a night, a bed for the night costs one EP, and I had never said EP.
- Will (Nat): So that's the one above gold.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, yeah, no, we didn't.
- Eli (Isaac): How about the...
- Eli (Isaac): I'm getting that right now.
- Will (Nat): Is it a hundred or a ten to one?
- Will (Nat): Is it a hundred or ten?
- Will (Nat): No, it's...
- Will (Nat): It's not exactly a piece.
- Will (Nat): I can say that.
- 2Feet (Steph): Is there a... Yeah, there's a peevee, which is... No, why would I want... Electron piece.
- Bones (Ben): Electron?
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): So it's a half-legal piece.
- Bones (Ben): They'll say I want to write a memo and say something like, hi, how are you doing today?
- Bones (Ben): What would that read?
- Bones (Ben): God, travel is so good at that.
- Bones (Ben): Like, so stupid good.
- Will (Nat): Wait.
- Will (Nat): So what are we doing?
- Will (Nat): It was it, but with the single one or I'm 100.
- Will (Nat): An EP is half a big old.
- UNKNOWN: Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): If we come back in the morning, we'd be here.
- Eli (Isaac): Yes.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay, we're going to go.
- Eli (Isaac): Do you think it's the end is a safe place?
- Will (Nat): The end is a safe place.
- Eli (Isaac): Then we're going to go do that and we'll meet you back here in the morning.
- UNKNOWN: Pay attention.
- UNKNOWN: Stuff.
- UNKNOWN: Okay.
- UNKNOWN: Uh, yes.
- Eli (Isaac): All right, everybody, why don't we head over to the tavern or the in place?
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, the brothers might be there again.
- Eli (Isaac): So they, who cares?
- Eli (Isaac): Right, they didn't see him.
- Eli (Isaac): He didn't.
- Eli (Isaac): No, no, no, no, I don't care about that.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, I can talk to him.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, talk to him.
- Eli (Isaac): And then we talk to you on the, the, the, the, um, ring master, yeah, Rick Taco too.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): So we go over, um, to the tavern, you know, just, unless you're going to stop me and we go inside, go up to the front, the, the, the guy.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm like, hey, we want to, um, have.
- Eli (Isaac): Three rooms or do we want to try and grab the one?
- Will (Nat): You can get...
- Will (Nat): Yes.
- Will (Nat): So he says for the four of you, I have one room with four beds.
- Will (Nat): It's going to be two gold pieces.
- Will (Nat): No problem.
- Will (Nat): Can we also make sure there is...
- UNKNOWN: I get some shaving equipment.
- Eli (Isaac): I have a hot shave, too, for an additional.
- Eli (Isaac): Do you have a good leather strap and... You have a good leather strap and... You know, get into it.
- Eli (Isaac): No, but... Trust me, it feels good.
- Eli (Isaac): You can also get some, like, dinner and some paint of veil, so you...
- Eli (Isaac): And I hand down an additional gold piece.
- Eli (Isaac): I have three gold pieces.
- Eli (Isaac): And can you tell us who's in the tavern room?
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): So he doesn't have the things for hot shave, but he kind of looked at you and is just like, you've got a dagger, you can shave yourself.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Inside the blue water in, I will tell you who's inside the tap room.
- Will (Nat): You see Ratavio with a group of
- Will (Nat): folks recounting some story that's around.
- Will (Nat): You see the two wolf hunters that were there.
- Will (Nat): Those were two folks that you saw that were talking about.
- Will (Nat): The wolves have a new leader that you were talking to earlier.
- Will (Nat): You do not see Nikolai and Carl Watcher.
- Will (Nat): Those are not there.
- Will (Nat): The dark board is there, but it does not have
- Will (Nat): the picture of the Baron on it.
- Will (Nat): And then behind the bar is Danica, who you had met before.
- Will (Nat): Danica, I believe, is the white that's there.
- Will (Nat): You also still see there are the ravens kind of around the windows, around the top of the bar, or not the bar, excuse me, the top of the building, and the like.
- Will (Nat): Ravens, even on top of the slanted roof, there are several ravens perched above.
- Bones (Ben): On the outside of the building?
- Will (Nat): On the outside of building?
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): So this is a reminder that the ravens are you dropping on us?
- 2Feet (Steph): I just, and you say, which doesn't like.
- Eli (Isaac): So I'd like to go up to Rosabia.
- Bones (Ben): I was going to see if I'd get a purple mash number three for Ravio when he had the moment.
- Bones (Ben): I think it was number two, right?
- Bones (Ben): I wrote that number three.
- Bones (Ben): Purple match number three.
- Bones (Ben): Like that's such a weird phrase.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Because you don't know what happened with number one and number two.
- Bones (Ben): Yep.
- Bones (Ben): That's what that happened.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Purple gold mash number three.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, number three.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): It's a wine.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): I'm not that.
- Will (Nat): So you guys order, so for that, it's going to be doot-a-doot.
- Will (Nat): That's three, six, we'll say nine copper pieces.
- Eli (Isaac): I give them three gold.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so he gives you the wine, the food, the drink.
- Bones (Ben): I love my little, I can't touch money, stuff, and you're so like, here you go.
- Bones (Ben): I'm like, I can have money, too.
- Bones (Ben): It's part of my dude.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so you guys have the glasses of wine.
- Will (Nat): What do you do?
- Bones (Ben): I would like to have a friendly conversation with Riccabio.
- Bones (Ben): Broadrushing for the most part for the group.
- Bones (Ben): You guys can join me if you want.
- Bones (Ben): But I'd like to tell him about our curious day, not broadroaching, not like specifics or anything like that.
- Bones (Ben): And just kind of see if he wants to allude anything for me to dig deeper into or like meet him somewhere else or something to that fact.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm going to sit a little farther away from him but near other people.
- Eli (Isaac): And I'm just going to.
- Eli (Isaac): hang out and eat my food and drink my food my drink um i have an ale um okay but my goal here is to be listening so i'm listening to what he's talking about and i'm like just kind of listening to any of the conversations that are going on you're listening for rumors yeah yep yep uh okay i did what are you want to do during dinner time i am are the voice holder are the um no those are not there's um two uh
- Will (Nat): The two wolf hunters that are there, though.
- 2Feet (Steph): I will eat dinner near the two wolf hunters, but I'll ease drop.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So, we'll go through what you all hear, so two feet.
- Will (Nat): Just listening in general for rumors and for what's going on.
- Will (Nat): You hear about...
- Will (Nat): Baran Vargas Blakovich has decreed the festival of the Blazing Sons will be held in town square in three days.
- Will (Nat): So right two days or a day after the warning.
- Will (Nat): You also know that the previous festival was the Wolf's Head Jamboree.
- Will (Nat): It was less than a week ago.
- Will (Nat): You know that some people are kind of excited for it and then others are not.
- Will (Nat): You get the sense that there's been at least one festival every week or two for the past several years.
- Will (Nat): Some folks believe that they're keeping the devil's strut at bay.
- Will (Nat): Others think they provide no protection or benefit whatsoever.
- Will (Nat): And like when they're talking about that, they're speaking in a little bit of hushed tones because speaking ill of those things can be punished by time in the town's stocks.
- Will (Nat): You, Eli, hear that...
- Will (Nat): about wolves and dire wolves prowling in the woods following a new leader.
- Will (Nat): There's like a new alpha that's running on them, and they're becoming less and less scared of attacking travelers on the old road, and that well-armed groups of hunters and trappers have managed to kill a few of them, but many, many more keep on coming.
- Will (Nat): You also hear that the Lake Zoravich, which is north
- Will (Nat): of where we are.
- Will (Nat): Used to be a good fishing ground, but because of the wolves, it has become very, very dangerous around there.
- Will (Nat): But there is that crazy Bluedo Krogerov, a town drunk who keeps on going every morning and every evening he returns, but he hasn't caught any fish in a while, but he keeps going.
- Will (Nat): Bluto K-R-G-A-R-O-V.
- Will (Nat): Um, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, uh, I think that's all that you guys here.
- Will (Nat): I know, uh, tell me about what you are talking with Rick Tavio about.
- Will (Nat): So you said, you kind of recanted, like,
- Bones (Ben): these are the things that we've done uh so far i had a really interesting interaction with um lady um watched her and the baron earlier today with the idea uh with with the idea that the baron was investigating um a case of malice are you have you seen anything like just like seeing if you want to offer up anything really um um
- Will (Nat): Let's see.
- Will (Nat): So he says, so you went to the, what was the phrase that I used before, the House of Pine or something to that?
- Bones (Ben): I did not break down the House of Pine.
- Will (Nat): The thing that he said to you before.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, Pine Carver.
- Will (Nat): Pine Carver.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, yeah.
- Will (Nat): So you went to the Pine Carvers anyway.
- Will (Nat): Interesting, interesting.
- Will (Nat): And tell me, what exactly did you find there?
- Bones (Ben): We found...
- Bones (Ben): that we were unable to get the information we thought we could, though we walked away with something more than we thought we did.
- Will (Nat): Speak non-riddles, man.
- Bones (Ben): Well, I'm saying it like that because he told me the Ravens are listening.
- Bones (Ben): So I just, how private is our conversation?
- Will (Nat): He didn't tell you the Ravens are listening.
- Will (Nat): You told him the Ravens are listening.
- 2Feet (Steph): I told them.
- 2Feet (Steph): So tell him they're trying to be.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, I'm trying to, yeah, I'm being coy because we are being listened upon by
- Bones (Ben): by potentially forces that mean the kind of harm.
- Will (Nat): Uh, okay.
- Will (Nat): So, um, he says, come to my room.
- Will (Nat): Uh, we'll chat in there.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Uh, so he, purple, gold match number three.
- Bones (Ben): I bring a bottle.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Uh, he feeds you.
- Eli (Isaac): So I, I, I, see that they're going up and leaving and I, and I am very, I'm keeping an eye on this, but if this goes too long, I'm going to come to follow you.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Uh, do-to-doch-doch.
- Will (Nat): Let's see, where...
- Will (Nat): I just wanted to get the room that he's in.
- Will (Nat): Okay, yeah, yeah.
- Will (Nat): All right, so...
- Will (Nat): So he comes...
- Eli (Isaac): So he comes... All right, but you can talk about the empires, and there was all the impact of the people right, the whole thing, yeah.
- Will (Nat): So the room that you guys...
- Will (Nat): I'm assuming you guys went to the room, you dropped off like your stop, you did that right here.
- Will (Nat): So your room was you needed to leave the restaurant and go up the stairs outside, and then there were two rooms and then the one big room at the end of the hallway, and there's about me looking down to where you are.
- Will (Nat): There was another set of stairs that were inside the bar going up those stairs.
- Will (Nat): He leads you to a room at the end of the hallway, which was a small private room that was there.
- Will (Nat): So a small guest room contains a bed, heap with wolfers, a foot locker, a tall wardrobe, a writing desk with a matching chair, an oil lamp rests upon the desk near a journal bound in a red leather jacket.
- Will (Nat): Or, yeah, a red leather jacket.
- Will (Nat): So Rikovio goes, sits at the chair, gestures you to sit up on the bed and says, speak to me plainly.
- Will (Nat): What happened?
- Will (Nat): at the coffin maker's house.
- Bones (Ben): We investigated some vampires going into her home, and we were hoping to get a distraction.
- Will (Nat): Who's her?
- Bones (Ben): The lady watched her.
- Will (Nat): What does that have to do with the coffin maker's house?
- Eli (Isaac): What does we have to do?
- Eli (Isaac): What did the coffin maker's out?
- Bones (Ben): I forgot.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, no.
- Bones (Ben): Did we call her Lady Watchter the coffin maker's up?
- Will (Nat): No.
- Will (Nat): Remember you guys went?
- Will (Nat): That's where they went.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, yeah, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): That's when they took something and ran away.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, we were in fact, we were trying to
- Bones (Ben): to capture something that was stolen.
- Bones (Ben): And we followed them, but to no avail, two lady watched her, house.
- Bones (Ben): Lady Washter offered them asylum.
- Will (Nat): Who's them?
- Bones (Ben): Vampires.
- Will (Nat): Vampires.
- Bones (Ben): Vampires?
- Will (Nat): Vampires.
- Will (Nat): Vampires?
- Will (Nat): Vampires.
- Bones (Ben): Vampire spons.
- UNKNOWN: Okay.
- Will (Nat): So they were vampires of the... And they went to...
- Bones (Ben): the watchers they went to the watchers and the watcher accepted them freely and offered them asylum but when we tried to get the baron to investigate we were unable to go further and i'm going to correct myself is it did a great job trying to fulfill the baron's request to investigate but we were not granted access interesting so
- Will (Nat): The, uh, he recounts to you that he believes, because I don't have any more paper space.
- Will (Nat): He believes that Lady Washter is in league with the devil's strad.
- Will (Nat): And, uh, as her family has been in league with the devil's strad for generations at this point.
- Will (Nat): Uh, and he believes that she is going to make a move to dispose the baron.
- Will (Nat): Um,
- Will (Nat): And he doesn't know how the vampire spawn play into it, but he's not surprised by their inclusion in this plot.
- Bones (Ben): One thing we did hear while investigating was that the boys, I can't remember their names, Nicholas and the other one mentioned that they needed two more days with the stolen item.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, her son, they could watch her son, needed two more days with a stolen item in order to... What item?
- Eli (Isaac): We're not sure.
- Bones (Ben): We're not sure.
- Bones (Ben): We were told they were stolen from the church.
- Bones (Ben): We don't know what they are.
- Will (Nat): Something was stolen from the church.
- Bones (Ben): Interesting.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): This is not public knowledge.
- Will (Nat): I would imagine not.
- Bones (Ben): But they needed two days to it and the festival starts in three days.
- Bones (Ben): And so Father, Father Lucian has been asking us to help them find the stolen item.
- Will (Nat): What do we know what the item is?
- Bones (Ben): This is where I want to say, Dike's just going to make the decision for me.
- 2Feet (Steph): You want one in my dad?
- 2Feet (Steph): Nope.
- 2Feet (Steph): I have fancy one.
- Bones (Ben): Nope.
- Bones (Ben): What are you in the site?
- Bones (Ben): Can't read it from here.
- Bones (Ben): I just, wouldn't it, I would say, you know, I heard rumors, but I'm not sure what it is.
- Bones (Ben): 18 on an inside.
- Bones (Ben): I want to know if this is someone I can truly trust.
- Will (Nat): You have no reason to believe that this is not something.
- Bones (Ben): The ones will think tag.
- Bones (Ben): Or, uh, Angel.
- Bones (Ben): Sorry.
- Will (Nat): Interesting.
- Will (Nat): So the rumors are true.
- Bones (Ben): Bones of St. Andrews.
- Bones (Ben): Bones have had... And Father Lucian's worries that the protectors are going to wear off or have been wearing off.
- Will (Nat): So if this is true, and if the bones were what is protecting... Just the church.
- Will (Nat): The church, which is a safe haven within the city.
- Will (Nat): One might argue the last true safe haven within the city.
- Will (Nat): Then...
- Will (Nat): with vampire spawn and who knows what else lady watched her and her so-called book club are up to, would be able to attack and enter the church, destroying the last bastion of hope in this entire city.
- Will (Nat): Right before the festival, that would send a powerful message to the people that the Burger Masters strategy to keep the devil strata bay
- Will (Nat): is not one that is effective.
- Bones (Ben): What can we do in between now and those two days to, what can you do to help us?
- Bones (Ben): We know what we need to do, but we need to know what researches we have available to us to help us recover the bone.
- Will (Nat): As much as I would like to help you with this right now, I am involved in something far greater, but this seems like something that you should take care of.
- Will (Nat): I would suggest finding the bones and returning them to the church.
- Bones (Ben): Do you happen to have any helpful information, potions, or anything that you can give us, and I can pay you for them to help us with this?
- Bones (Ben): Because our resources right now are we do have invisibility.
- Bones (Ben): We do have... Visibility is a great benefit.
- Bones (Ben): It is a great benefit.
- Bones (Ben): I just want to make sure that I'm able to protect those that are under my care for.
- Bones (Ben): I'm the only one who can heal.
- Will (Nat): Um, he says he has nothing here in his room, uh, but that, um, that he does have, um, that he has a, um, a carnival wagon outside of town, uh, that, uh,
- Will (Nat): may have things there, but unfortunately he doesn't believe that he'd be able to get there and back in time for it.
- Will (Nat): But afterwards, come and see him in the Arisac's stockyard to be there.
- Will (Nat): But he warns you, do not go there without me, or my saber-tooth tiger will eat you.
- Will (Nat): Delicious.
- Bones (Ben): Delicious.
- Bones (Ben): As good as this wine.
- Will (Nat): Arasek, A-R-A-S-E-K.
- Bones (Ben): I taste delicious.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): What was that dad's name?
- Bones (Ben): Rick Tavio.
- Bones (Ben): This is his wife, right?
- Will (Nat): No, that is, these are the people that work there.
- Will (Nat): Rictavio is, do-do-do-do.
- Bones (Ben): I would have like to ask, too, now that we kind of concluded the business about the bones, was, were you the only one to come?
- Bones (Ben): This one.
- Bones (Ben): Were you the only one to come through from your side?
- Bones (Ben): Like the four of us were the ones that came through from our, were you alone?
- Will (Nat): No, he says that I came with the traveling church.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, the whole circus.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, wow.
- Bones (Ben): Good for that.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): And have you made any improvements of figuring out how to go back to your home?
- Will (Nat): He says that he knows the Bistani can traverse the mist.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): So we have a way out.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, okay.
- Bones (Ben): No, I left the evening go, uh, uh, however, Rikovio seats at the point.
- UNKNOWN: Yep.
- Bones (Ben): Yep.
- Bones (Ben): Got it go to bed?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, please.
- 2Feet (Steph): All right.
- Will (Nat): Uh, all right.
- Will (Nat): Eli, are you going to mention anything about the, uh, the sword hilts or anything like that?
- Will (Nat): No.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Are you going to do anything with the sword hilt?
- Will (Nat): Are you just going to keep it in your bag?
- 2Feet (Steph): I want to keep it in my bag just because I think it's too valuable to share in public.
- Bones (Ben): Isn't that very of a fact?
- Bones (Ben): Like the, uh, the emotional urge?
- Will (Nat): No, so he felt that, like, when he held it in his hand, is when, like, that strong emotion caught.
- Bones (Ben): Thank goodness it wasn't your friend's birthday, and I'm thinking of the ring.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): And, um.
- Bones (Ben): Did he have somebody to wait for mama?
- Bones (Ben): Your mom's not coming here, love.
- Bones (Ben): So, uh.
- Eli (Isaac): I'll take a long rest of time, too.
- Eli (Isaac): Yep.
- Bones (Ben): About the time, too.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): Finally, one day is.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): All right, so everyone lies in bed and nothing of note happens.
- Will (Nat): You have a long rest, so we can restore kind of everything from...
- Bones (Ben): So I took out spiritual weapons for whole person.
- Eli (Isaac): So our hit points are backed up to their original things, right?
- Eli (Isaac): They're not limited anymore.
- Will (Nat): Oh, that's right, because there was a thing from Strut.
- Will (Nat): Let me actually...
- Eli (Isaac): I pay attention.
- Will (Nat): Yep.
- Will (Nat): I, yes, I think after a long rest, it becomes out, yes.
- 2Feet (Steph): Good, because I'm learning the 10-8-4.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): How much helps is the, um, this is the world that will have?
- Will (Nat): Uh, 20-8.
- 2Feet (Steph): I have 26.
- 2Feet (Steph): That's funny.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, no, I is 36, sorry.
- Eli (Isaac): look at protection front we can be able more time because if we're going to do anything we're going to okay so i'm assuming okay i'm dead yeah i'm going to have to put this out cure worms it's going to come out where are these uh things do you have them near you what uh no they're upstairs boy before the next one i want to get the guardian one if it exists because we'll get up yep yep yeah cure ones we're not going to
- Bones (Ben): Damn, this is so hard, I have such limited choices.
- Bones (Ben): Okay, cure wins when I have to stay back.
- 2Feet (Steph): I would like it.
- Bones (Ben): Are those things by them?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): I've never seen them, and that's like the immediate opposite of what I like.
- Bones (Ben): Like I want the mega.
- Eli (Isaac): Most people do.
- Eli (Isaac): Weirdly, I actually prefer this more in a weird way.
- Eli (Isaac): Because I always used to get the mega one and I thought that was funny.
- Eli (Isaac): Nat, I saw something that was the exact opposite.
- Eli (Isaac): It's going to start out with something you like and it's going to become the exact opposite.
- Eli (Isaac): Anything you could possibly imagine liking.
- Eli (Isaac): It starts with liquid death.
- Eli (Isaac): Sparkling water, or liquid death, you know, sparkling, Mr.
- Eli (Isaac): Beast, peanut butter, chocolate.
- Eli (Isaac): Gross.
- Eli (Isaac): Flavored.
- Bones (Ben): Peanut butter.
- Bones (Ben): What a cross sponsorship.
- Eli (Isaac): Was that at Costco already?
- Eli (Isaac): That's done 11.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay, that makes more sense.
- Eli (Isaac): What is?
- Eli (Isaac): What is really?
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, I did a joke.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, no, I think it's actually.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, that's gross.
- Eli (Isaac): Liquid death, blood, water.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, by the way, that poster that I showed you was from City of Alexandria City Hall from when it was built in the 1800s.
- Eli (Isaac): Soda-flavored sports.
- Bones (Ben): They were demoing it, like full demo, except for like the original, original portions of it.
- Bones (Ben): And when they took away, the drive-wall, they found that poster.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): And a few other, and it was 10 cents to go to the theater.
- Will (Nat): All right.
- Will (Nat): So the next morning has arisen.
- Will (Nat): What do you do?
- Bones (Ben): I say we get breakfast and talk about what we'd like to accomplish for the day.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): And when we should accomplish it for the day, because I feel like if we're going to be.
- Will (Nat): So Isaac or Eli, don't forget, your cap has regained all of its charges.
- Bones (Ben): All three of them.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): She keep three Oreos for each charge.
- Bones (Ben): So we eat an Oreo for every single charge.
- Bones (Ben): Good visual reminder.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): So yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Do you want to go to breakfast?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): It was, I think that's just going downstairs or going over the.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Going out and then.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Again, we're going to just eat and listen and see if there's anything.
- Bones (Ben): Because we actually haven't communicated about what we learned from last night.
- Bones (Ben): Any ladies or any?
- Eli (Isaac): I'm going to ask you.
- Eli (Isaac): Hi, can I have some.
- Will (Nat): No, but you can have some slop.
- Eli (Isaac): All right, thank you.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm happy with my thought.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, of course.
- Eli (Isaac): Breakfast ale.
- Eli (Isaac): Yep.
- Eli (Isaac): Was it like a meal?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, just like mush or mesh.
- Eli (Isaac): You're not really sure what it is.
- Eli (Isaac): Kind of like a peck-back smash.
- Will (Nat): For everyone to eat and to have their drink in the morning, it's going to be another gold piece.
- Bones (Ben): I give it to you, since you're just meeting it.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): Thank you, fine, sir.
- Bones (Ben): So I recap to everybody about Ritavio's conversation, that's cheese.
- Bones (Ben): Hey, I...
- Bones (Ben): I don't get me tell.
- Bones (Ben): But the pertinent bit of information was that there have been rumors I don't know his sources of what we've been investigating.
- Bones (Ben): And he's suspected Lady Watcher and her supposed book for some time.
- Bones (Ben): But hit key is unable to provide us a, but suggest we pursue our mission.
- Bones (Ben): The plan to vote.
- Bones (Ben): And the whole point of it too is just
- Bones (Ben): I don't know if we want to do our plan A, plan B situation, or we just want to be all in on plan A. I do not want to do a plan A, plan B. I do not want to do a plan A, plan B. I do not, I do not plan A, plan B.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay, so what's your C and B?
- Eli (Isaac): What's your A and B?
- Will (Nat): What's your A and B?
- Will (Nat): The B and B.
- Bones (Ben): A is get the bones.
- 2Feet (Steph): A is just our house.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): So how are we going to get back into our house without?
- Eli (Isaac): Well, or Frank.
- Eli (Isaac): Were you there yesterday?
- Eli (Isaac): We were at like.
- Bones (Ben): Fourth Eve.
- Eli (Isaac): Worst comes to worst, she might have another book club meeting at the same time, and she might go back to her.
- Will (Nat): You don't know that.
- Eli (Isaac): We don't know.
- Will (Nat): We don't know.
- 2Feet (Steph): You know we have book clubs on Tuesday.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, you're right.
- 2Feet (Steph): But what if we, what if I, knock on the door, put on the cap of the vanishing, and then you two are, like, you two are going.
- 2Feet (Steph): and you knock on the cellar door, I'm invisible.
- 2Feet (Steph): So when she comes out to look, I sneak past her.
- 2Feet (Steph): Or like, when she's like, when she's like, when she's like, like, kind of outside the door doing like this, I sneak behind her back, and then I go and I get all the information, I get the bus.
- Bones (Ben): Are we assuming the cellar was locked when the ladies went down?
- Bones (Ben): What?
- Bones (Ben): And they unlocked it and went down?
- Eli (Isaac): I don't think we're assuming anything, but did you think they locked the door that he unlocked yesterday?
- 2Feet (Steph): You can just jump the baron.
- 2Feet (Steph): That could be a distraction.
- Eli (Isaac): Sure, but that's going to get us caught.
- 2Feet (Steph): So, I do not care.
- Bones (Ben): Because, yeah, because right now we have, we have, we've drawn the ire of the baron, so I'm not happy with us.
- Bones (Ben): And then also, Lady Watched her, it's probably playing very close attention to us now that she knows we're in her business.
- Eli (Isaac): Well, she hasn't seen him.
- Bones (Ben): She hasn't seen him, but she knows that we are trained.
- Eli (Isaac): Maybe.
- Eli (Isaac): We're making a lot of assumptions there that as soon as they recognized us that they saw us well.
- Eli (Isaac): It was dark as well.
- Eli (Isaac): They were running away.
- Bones (Ben): We fought them.
- Bones (Ben): Well, we fought them in close quarters.
- Eli (Isaac): All I'm saying is that doesn't mean that they necessarily know us.
- Eli (Isaac): Well, they may, but we're just not assuming that.
- Eli (Isaac): However, if we wanted to, so if we're still trying to get in, do we think that they locked the door?
- Eli (Isaac): I think we should check at least.
- Bones (Ben): We can definitely check and do we want to do this at night, where it's easier for Eli to go in and out, or do we want to kind of do this during the day?
- Eli (Isaac): I don't think we do anything with vampire spawn at night, if we can avoid it.
- Eli (Isaac): I think we should definitely do it during the day, if possible.
- Eli (Isaac): That being said, it's not going to be easy, but I think we should just check if that door is still unlocked.
- Eli (Isaac): It might not be.
- 2Feet (Steph): What if I, I, um, okay, you disguise yourself as, like, a person who's, like, I'm not sure already.
- Bones (Ben): I'm weird.
- Bones (Ben): I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a work.
- 2Feet (Steph): So started...
- 2Feet (Steph): So you dressed up as, like, someone who just, like, the band that was dressed up, who was, like, on Saturday, because I finally had to sign the thing.
- 2Feet (Steph): Like, hey, will you sign this thing for, like, this new, for the, um... For the festival?
- 2Feet (Steph): For the festival.
- 2Feet (Steph): And then as you're doing that, like, I can change your eye color just to, like... No, because you're, I don't know, I could if you want me to.
- 2Feet (Steph): But as she's signing it and, like, you're having it face, she gets to be like this.
- Eli (Isaac): Can you cast, so the problem is you can't cast these things beforehand, but can you cast a very minor illusion, like if it were, I don't know if it works that way, where I would just look a little bit different than I do normally?
- 2Feet (Steph): I can jump dark color.
- Eli (Isaac): Just eye colors are the only thing.
- 2Feet (Steph): Your voice booms up to three times as loud as normal for a minute.
- 2Feet (Steph): You cause flames to flicker, bright and dim or change color or create a small flame for one minute.
- 2Feet (Steph): You cause harmless trimmers in the ground for one minute.
- 2Feet (Steph): You create an instantaneous sound that I retain from a point of your choice within range, such as a rumble of thunder, or the cry of raven, or ominous whispers.
- 2Feet (Steph): You instantly cause an unlocked door or window to fly open or slam shut.
- 2Feet (Steph): You alter the appearance of your eyes for a minute.
- Will (Nat): So that's your eyes as well.
- Will (Nat): I say, can you pick up the glass that sound there?
- Will (Nat): I'm scared just going to break.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): But I put it in the cup holder.
- Eli (Isaac): We can, I mean, I don't know that it has a very high probability of working, especially since my rhythm is not great, and my performance is not great.
- Eli (Isaac): So we can do the tremors, there's an earthquake thing.
- Eli (Isaac): We can try that.
- 2Feet (Steph): What's your personal?
- Eli (Isaac): I'm just going to get suspicious eventually.
- Bones (Ben): No, I just realized I could have used tremor sense, probably.
- Bones (Ben): Can I get a good idea what the house looked like and gave them better job I came down?
- Bones (Ben): What was what?
- Bones (Ben): No, I just, I read, I saw I forgot I had tremor sense.
- Bones (Ben): So I could have done a better job at.
- Bones (Ben): What is tremor sense?
- Bones (Ben): If I put my hand just down, I hadn't.
- Bones (Ben): pretty much get a blue grant.
- Bones (Ben): Okay, I'm understanding what's going on.
- Eli (Isaac): So you can do that right now.
- Eli (Isaac): So if we go to the side of the house, you probably put your hand on the foundation.
- Bones (Ben): Well, yeah, I could probably do that.
- Bones (Ben): My concern is how open is the house, because the house is right here.
- Bones (Ben): So we'd be pretty visible being out.
- Bones (Ben): No?
- Eli (Isaac): Okay, I think you can, I think this is the kind of thing where we might be able to sneak or, like, can you borrow, like, can't borrow that, but, like, I feel like this is the kind of thing you can.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm sure there's somewhere on the house that, or we could go and try and find out if there's a spot on the house that has enough brush next to it, because most houses do, especially in a town, where you can just get a hand on the foundation.
- Bones (Ben): I have it, so it's... How happy do you do this?
- Bones (Ben): Probably.
- Will (Nat): You don't want to put a person inside a back of holding.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Because you ran out of that.
- 2Feet (Steph): Immediately.
- Bones (Ben): So my term, sense, works for 10 minutes, 65.
- Bones (Ben): So I'd get a lot of information.
- Bones (Ben): But you still need to have your hand on.
- Bones (Ben): I need to contact.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, I would say that if you can, it's 60-foot radius, so if you can get your hand on the foundation, you should be able to at least get the main floor, right?
- 2Feet (Steph): Wait, let me think of my phone C and D. Go, or do you discuss your C?
- 2Feet (Steph): Let's see or B.
- Bones (Ben): Well, actually, I need to look at what exactly.
- Eli (Isaac): You guys keep talking about... Well, so I'm willing to try your turner thing if you want.
- Will (Nat): So that's going to get you a view of the inside of the building.
- Eli (Isaac): No, we can't.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, okay.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so that... And then...
- Will (Nat): So the intention is to get back inside the watcher house.
- Eli (Isaac): Yes, that is...
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Because as of now, do we think there's anywhere else the bones to be?
- Will (Nat): Well, so where do you think the bones are?
- Eli (Isaac): In the house.
- Will (Nat): Yes, where...
- Eli (Isaac): Possibly of the animals or in the cellar.
- Eli (Isaac): I'm just thinking of... Or it could be in the room with the crazy... Well, we know it's not in the cellar.
- Bones (Ben): We know she looked upstairs.
- Bones (Ben): Then again, we don't know why she looked upstairs.
- Bones (Ben): That's what I'm saying.
- Eli (Isaac): We're making a lot of assumptions.
- Bones (Ben): I was just taking it from the GM giving up that hand.
- Will (Nat): She looked upstairs for contraband.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, contraband.
- Will (Nat): Which was found in the room that she looked at.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): So we found the contraband that just didn't know that we were thinking of different contraband.
- Bones (Ben): The bones and the sword.
- Eli (Isaac): I did not take that the bones were contraband at all.
- Eli (Isaac): I figured they were just like family playing a family thing that they had because they're weird.
- Eli (Isaac): I did not get that being contraband.
- Will (Nat): There was another item there besides the bones.
- Bones (Ben): The health of the thing.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, I know.
- Eli (Isaac): I did not say it.
- Eli (Isaac): We don't know anything about that, though.
- Will (Nat): You guys actually do.
- Will (Nat): You know a lot about that if you guys think back.
- Bones (Ben): No, no, no, sorry.
- Bones (Ben): Eli hasn't told us that.
- Bones (Ben): Correct.
- Bones (Ben): Correct, correct, correct.
- Bones (Ben): So we don't know anything about that portion.
- 2Feet (Steph): And like, as they're talking about online, because it was, what?
- Eli (Isaac): Well, yeah, that's not saying.
- Eli (Isaac): So I don't think that there was any sort of contraband in that room at all.
- Eli (Isaac): So as far as I can tell, the only reason that she would say that so far as either the bones are there or that like there's a clearly abused little girl up there or that there's also just a dead body up there.
- Eli (Isaac): Which even though, yes, I understand where in medieval times and people did not dispose of bodies immediately, it still was not kind of like copacetic to just have a dead body hanging out.
- Eli (Isaac): So I still think it's a good idea to check out that.
- Bones (Ben): Point.
- Bones (Ben): So let me read Tremmer sense so we can all have a good idea of what I'm thinking of using it for.
- Bones (Ben): A creature with Tremors sense can pinpoint the location of creatures and moving objects within a specific range, mind 60 feet.
- Bones (Ben): Provided that the creature with tremorsens and anything it is detecting are both in contact with the same surface such as the ground or a wall or the same liquid.
- Bones (Ben): Tremorsons can't detect creatures or objects in the air and it doesn't count as form of sight.
- Eli (Isaac): So it won't give you the math.
- Eli (Isaac): It'll just tell you where there are.
- Will (Nat): Which is useful.
- Will (Nat): Or the absence of it.
- Eli (Isaac): Wait, wait, I use the phone words.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, but it doesn't give you walls.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, correct.
- Eli (Isaac): So, like, it might tell you there's, like, five.
- Eli (Isaac): I don't know what they're out.
- Eli (Isaac): Right, exactly, that's what I'm saying.
- Eli (Isaac): So there's, like, there's five enemies that way, or there's five beings that way.
- Eli (Isaac): You have three beings that way.
- Eli (Isaac): We don't know that that's in a, that may be one giant room, where it might be multiple rooms, that's what I'm saying.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, because I'm, I think the ways I can utilize it is, you know, it's like a connection to Eli telling him like, hey,
- Bones (Ben): the room in front of you feels like there are people in front of you.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): So he doesn't have to try and do a roll or anything like that.
- Bones (Ben): Or if I don't sense anything, you know, like, hey, there's nothing here, but that doesn't mean nothing in there.
- 2Feet (Steph): It could be a loading thing.
- UNKNOWN: Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Could be a loading thing.
- Bones (Ben): I think we should just roll over.
- Bones (Ben): Or.
- Bones (Ben): Or not moving room.
- Bones (Ben): But yeah, the destruction.
- Bones (Ben): I don't know what our distraction is going to be to get at.
- Eli (Isaac): Do you think there, well, I mean, I'm willing to give Isaac Plan a try.
- Eli (Isaac): I think it's.
- Eli (Isaac): decent at minimum.
- Eli (Isaac): Do you want to hire a kid or something or someone who can go and just, well, no.
- Eli (Isaac): I want to check if that door is unlocked before anything because we might not need.
- Bones (Ben): Because I'm thinking the easiest thing would be is just getting nearby, have Eli go invisible, and then let you like do his thing and work nearby.
- Bones (Ben): You have to be next to the house.
- Bones (Ben): right, in order to do your thing.
- Bones (Ben): You need to be touching the house, so you can't be far away.
- Bones (Ben): I just need to be able to find, like, a good hiding spot, like, at the house.
- Eli (Isaac): And I feel confident that we can find that.
- Eli (Isaac): Half house, some shrubbery, right?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, exactly.
- Eli (Isaac): Some shrubbery, we can just, like, move one to you.
- Will (Nat): There's, we'll say, if you're looking at the front door, about 20 feet to the right, at the corner of the house, there is a shrub.
- Will (Nat): And then going back by the cellar door, there's also some shrubbery there.
- Will (Nat): And then to the left of the house, there is a garden, which I don't, like,
- Will (Nat): A garden, not like shrubbery.
- Eli (Isaac): That was where the door was.
- Eli (Isaac): No, the door is so... Where's the back door?
- UNKNOWN: Okay.
- Will (Nat): Front door?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Cellar door, back door.
- Will (Nat): Right.
- Will (Nat): Shrub, shrub.
- Bones (Ben): I think I should go by the cellar.
- Bones (Ben): If I hit that one and be there.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh.
- Eli (Isaac): And I can...
- Eli (Isaac): I will stand back a little bit with a wide radius or wide angle.
- 2Feet (Steph): And I can call you to do a distraction.
- Eli (Isaac): If you need to, sure, I'll take a rock.
- Eli (Isaac): I'll have a rock next to me, and if we really need a big distraction, I can throw it out of a window on the ground floor.
- Bones (Ben): I can give them protected from good and evil for 10 minutes.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): So you'd have to be quick about it.
- Eli (Isaac): Now, if the door is not unlocked in the back, what is our plan here?
- Eli (Isaac): Because I think going into cellar door is not necessarily the best one, because there's mostly
- Bones (Ben): So the issue is he's going to have enemies in the cellar, potentially, or he's going to have kitchen staff, or just help staff by the side door, which is near the kitchen.
- Eli (Isaac): Right, but if the door is unlocked, it's not going to be shady to just have the door, like, you let the door slightly open a little, make sure it's not someone actively there, push it up and slip inside.
- Eli (Isaac): But, like, if it's unlocked, that's an easy solution.
- Bones (Ben): Because the cellar one's very obvious, like, opening the secret door.
- Eli (Isaac): Now you can still unlock pick the other one.
- Will (Nat): I was going to say, so if he's invisible, you can still lock pick the doors without...
- Will (Nat): Uh, yeah, but he...
- Will (Nat): Depends on how good he is.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): You can still unlock the door and be definitely silent, or you can unlock the door and it's... All right, so that's kind of my suggestion.
- Eli (Isaac): Great breakfast.
- 2Feet (Steph): And what you're talking about.
- 2Feet (Steph): Very bitter.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So you're going to the watcher house.
- Will (Nat): Is that correct now?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, do we want to do anybody?
- Eli (Isaac): Nobody's going to be willing to help us.
- Bones (Ben): Nobody, yeah, nobody was willing to help us.
- Bones (Ben): Did you want to meet?
- Bones (Ben): Do we think we should meet with Father Lucian first?
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, yeah, we should, definitely.
- Bones (Ben): Because he said he was going to investigate the elements for us, right?
- Eli (Isaac): Or did we think that wasn't matter?
- Bones (Ben): I'm sure we told them, like, we found these locked, like, locked?
- Will (Nat): Yeah, so if you go there,
- Will (Nat): He says that he...
- Will (Nat): He says he...
- Will (Nat): He says he investigated the bones.
- Will (Nat): He used a few spells.
- Will (Nat): He consulted some history.
- Will (Nat): He did everything that he could.
- Will (Nat): And he believes that these bones belong to a Leo de Licinia, who was...
- Will (Nat): an enemy of the Wachter family generations ago.
- Will (Nat): He was a soldier who betrayed and murdered Strad on the day of Sergei and Tatiana's wedding.
- Will (Nat): And that he escaped the castle only to be hunted down by the vampire Strad.
- Bones (Ben): The original story.
- Will (Nat): And that...
- Will (Nat): He believes that the watchers maybe were keeping these bones under lock and key so that he couldn't be raised from the dead.
- Bones (Ben): So there was a story we heard from the Stani.
- Bones (Ben): I want to say.
- Bones (Ben): We're from the Red Hat Girl.
- Bones (Ben): We haven't talked to it for the long time.
- Bones (Ben): About the one wizard that went up against Strad.
- Will (Nat): That's probably him.
- Will (Nat): No.
- Will (Nat): So the timing of that wizard was Straub was already a vampire.
- Will (Nat): This was...
- Will (Nat): like even older as yeah so this is these are really old old bones okay well dang good for this guy got good bones yeah um okay um okay um about a lucian we're planning on going up to that we're gonna get to another go give me advice first you don't know it was a peaceful night uh he says um lord knows how long uh the the peace will last uh and he says uh
- Will (Nat): Well, I guess he asked you, like, what is your plan?
- Will (Nat): Like, what are you planning on doing?
- Will (Nat): And then he'll be able to critique or give any suggestion.
- Eli (Isaac): Do you have a little of a question around here?
- Will (Nat): That's a good question.
- Will (Nat): Not really, no.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): So we're trying to infiltrate and get the bones back.
- Bones (Ben): And we're trying to stealthily get in and get out without them noticing.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): So we're trying to create a description that will pull them out.
- Will (Nat): a fire but I don't think you would get the lady or her staff out so much for that I don't think they would bother themselves with the plight of the common man but if you're you're looking to go in when the lady is not home
- Will (Nat): maybe when her or her staff are out for the market.
- Will (Nat): So you can watch the house and see if you see her leave.
- Will (Nat): It won't leave the house empty, but it will at least leave the house with less folks empty.
- Eli (Isaac): Is there a typical time, like, is there a, there's usually like morning markets or night markets or afternoon market?
- Will (Nat): We'll say afternoon market.
- 2Feet (Steph): Is there any times where there, does she, does the lady usually like to go to the things where like it's 50% off or?
- Will (Nat): Sales are put that?
- Will (Nat): The word sale is like unusual to me.
- Will (Nat): It's just like on a boat.
- 2Feet (Steph): No.
- Bones (Ben): Oh, come on that.
- Eli (Isaac): Does she, does the lady sponsor anything?
- Eli (Isaac): I mean, I know she doesn't necessarily care about.
- Eli (Isaac): the rabble, but is there anything, I know, the festival coming up sometimes, the people sponsor things individually, or that they, or have challenges.
- Will (Nat): No, she, yeah, she hates the festivals almost openly, like, as open as one can for.
- Will (Nat): She doesn't think that they actually help.
- Will (Nat): She's finding her time to take, you know, take power inside.
- Eli (Isaac): So what if we... We definitely get some of the people out by just pitching a festival attendee.
- Eli (Isaac): on their front yard.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, we'll thumb people out of that house.
- 2Feet (Steph): You go out and you're like, festival, like, a minor festival, and then while she's, like, killing, you're like, get off my life.
- Bones (Ben): Or we can do the preparation for the festival and start putting.
- Bones (Ben): That's what I'm saying.
- Bones (Ben): Instead of, like, doing a mini festival.
- Bones (Ben): So I guess my two questions to the group is, do we relay the information to Father Aleutian that Rikagio thinks that the trigger could be under attack?
- Bones (Ben): He knows this already, but yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Okay, so...
- Eli (Isaac): I mean, yeah, to say, like, error concerns, do you know, I think you're probably...
- Bones (Ben): If we're unable to recover the bones, we believe the church is, especially right before the festival, is the perfect, um, location for the watchers to attack.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, he doesn't disagree with you, but he's adamant that you will stay and protect the church.
- Bones (Ben): No, I just wanted him ready for that and start getting, like, that's our plan B, Father Lucian is we need to protect the church.
- Bones (Ben): Um, so prepare all the holy water you can get your hands on, um,
- Bones (Ben): and all the other things, like any, anything that can help fight on vampire spawns?
- Eli (Isaac): Yes, we've asked.
- Eli (Isaac): We asked him about what fights vampire spawns?
- Eli (Isaac): Because it was the whole suspicion if I was not doing anything.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, that a stake to the heart will kill them.
- Will (Nat): Holy Water definitely hurts them.
- Will (Nat): Like, traditional vampire stuff.
- Eli (Isaac): So, yeah, we've been pointed out that the traditional, we don't have that.
- Will (Nat): So, like, so.
- Will (Nat): Silver or magic weapons in order to do damage.
- Will (Nat): You guys learn that beforehand as well.
- Bones (Ben): And then I would also ask him, can he get his hand on silver weapons for us?
- Bones (Ben): Because I don't think we have silver weapons.
- Bones (Ben): We have one.
- Will (Nat): So you guys put the silver on your weaponry when you were there, but that kind of worked up.
- Will (Nat): So your daggers don't, because you've got the psychic dagger, so psychic damage will hurt them.
- Will (Nat): The flames from your sword will hurt them, and you have a magic mix, so you can, you can hurt them.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, but I was thinking about, like, collecting them for, um, Eli, well, yeah, Eli will rehearse that there's more wolves and dire wolves coming out, so that's another thing to be concerned about that, you know, we're not just going to be fighting potentially vampire spawns, we're going to be fighting other felbies.
- Will (Nat): Mm-hmm.
- Bones (Ben): So I just wanted him at least to see if he can start sourcing the materials to help protect the church.
- Will (Nat): He says he'll do what he can.
- Bones (Ben): And if you need some funds to do it, like I'm more than happy to give him money to help with you.
- Will (Nat): We will take whatever money you're willing to give him for times in the church.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, no, I'll give him like 20.
- Bones (Ben): Give him this one.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, I have a 147 gold, so here's 50 gold.
- Bones (Ben): If you need more, I'm more than happy to give more.
- Bones (Ben): He very happily accepts your money.
- Bones (Ben): Make sure you mark down.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, no, thank you.
- Bones (Ben): Mine is 5097.
- 2Feet (Steph): I have no money.
- 2Feet (Steph): I only have $200,000.
- 2Feet (Steph): You can't have $2504.
- Bones (Ben): I'm not allowed to spend with $2,000.
- Bones (Ben): And then to my second point is we believe we upset it with our investigation the other day, so we don't know if the barons are going to be reliable with helping us.
- Bones (Ben): Well, the baron doesn't like us.
- Bones (Ben): I hopefully it doesn't look forward to any of it.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): So my brother-in-law can be a...
- Will (Nat): Confucian?
- Will (Nat): Yes.
- Eli (Isaac): A nice dog.
- Eli (Isaac): Mm-hmm.
- Bones (Ben): Beautiful dogs.
- Bones (Ben): The big mastiff?
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): I've got good animal handler.
- Bones (Ben): I was really hoping to ask that that's the other.
- Bones (Ben): If he had been there longer, I was going to ask about, like, how did the animals look?
- Bones (Ben): Okay, so once we're ready, I think it's just trying to get in a good spot to get Eli hidden.
- Bones (Ben): I can get them in protection from good and evil.
- Bones (Ben): Oh.
- Eli (Isaac): No, first we need to check the door.
- Eli (Isaac): Well, so if the door's unlocked, he can pick his way in, of course.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, but I think the first, you need to go in first, sneak in because you're the one that's in the most danger if you're getting your way over there.
- Eli (Isaac): You sneak your way over, find your spot.
- Eli (Isaac): When you find your spot, then we send Eli in, and I'll stay on the outskirts, like just in the bushes.
- Eli (Isaac): So just to be clear.
- Will (Nat): If you're standing on the main floor, like outside the main floor and you put your hand on, you can see everyone that's on the main floor.
- Will (Nat): You will not be able to see everybody on the top floor or in the cellar.
- Eli (Isaac): Yes.
- Eli (Isaac): But I think before we do anything, we should just sit and watch for a little while.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, make sure.
- Bones (Ben): See, get people to leave and then make her way in.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, and then the order for you, then I'll come on in the rear and just watch over.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): We got a game plan.
- Bones (Ben): Let's see if we can ask you.
- Will (Nat): All right, so you wait outside the house kind of down the street a little bit.
- Will (Nat): At one point in time during the day, sometime in the afternoon we'll stay, you see Lady Watcher, one of her sons and some staff leave the house and walking towards the center of town.
- Bones (Ben): 89, 88, 87.
- Bones (Ben): So then you...
- Bones (Ben): I'm waiting for them to get far.
- Bones (Ben): Sure.
- Bones (Ben): They have gone far enough way.
- Bones (Ben): Like, they're outside of the...
- Bones (Ben): I am going to try to... Make your way.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, make my way towards the cellar bush.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): The bush by the seller.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Give me a... Give me a stealth check, and you can give yourself like a...
- Will (Nat): a diet ins or anything like that.
- Will (Nat): I don't need it.
- Bones (Ben): I rolled a 19 and my... You felt this two years of 21.
- Will (Nat): Okay, yeah.
- Will (Nat): So you've managed to sneak your way over to the side of the cellar door.
- Will (Nat): There's some bushes there, you kind of like curl, huddle up kind of under the bushes.
- Bones (Ben): It's very hard for... And I will wait to hear from Eli that he's in so I can then cast my tremor sign.
- Eli (Isaac): Do you put on your cap?
- Eli (Isaac): Put on my cat.
- Eli (Isaac): run over and see if the door is the door, the back door that he had been locked the previous day.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): The one that's an expectation, see if it is unlocked.
- Eli (Isaac): It is locked.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): So now he's going to, we're going to do the thing where he picked up the, or do you lock 14.
- Will (Nat): 14, you picked the lock.
- Bones (Ben): Okay, I cast Donnie Stone County.
- Bones (Ben): And so I now have it for 10 minutes.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Uh, uh, so.
- Eli (Isaac): Your plan is to, or your plans to do what, go upstairs, right?
- Eli (Isaac): Uh, go.
- Eli (Isaac): Uh, go.
- Eli (Isaac): You have the math.
- Eli (Isaac): Because you did yesterday.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, actually, so, you know what, we can... You can do-to-do-doch.
- Eli (Isaac): You know.
- Eli (Isaac): You brought this out.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, no, no.
- Will (Nat): Actually, it's not.
- Will (Nat): I've got it wrong.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so here is the map for the area.
- Will (Nat): So, you are now in the back, right here.
- Will (Nat): Eli, you are at the back door here.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yep.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Bones is here, two feet.
- Will (Nat): We'll say you're kind of like here by the mystery.
- Will (Nat): Here.
- Eli (Isaac): Here.
- Eli (Isaac): because the goal is to be able to see this and the front.
- Will (Nat): You're right by the back door.
- Will (Nat): So it's a small map for it.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So the door's locked.
- Will (Nat): You unlock the door.
- Will (Nat): You kind of go in.
- Will (Nat): You, using Tremors sense, know that there are people in the guest inside the servants quarters, inside the kitchen.
- Will (Nat): Inside the kitchen.
- Will (Nat): Inside the kitchen.
- Will (Nat): inside the giant girl.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): And I communicate that to him to kind of steer towards the side of the house.
- Bones (Ben): The way he went last time is the way you should go again?
- Bones (Ben): No, the opposite way.
- Bones (Ben): Lots of way.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Will (Nat): He went through the servant's quarters.
- Will (Nat): Oh, in that way.
- Will (Nat): Went into here and into here.
- Will (Nat): He's not gone this way.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): I'm right here.
- Bones (Ben): We want you to go upstairs.
- Bones (Ben): So why do you want to go down?
- 2Feet (Steph): I just wanted to see because it looked, because remember, it was like a cult is cultive thing.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): It, like, the Holybell was trying to, like, curse them or something.
- Will (Nat): So then, yeah, you can go into, to, uh, app.
- Will (Nat): So you're changing the plan.
- Bones (Ben): That's, that's fine.
- Bones (Ben): That was the thing that was falling out earlier.
- Will (Nat): So you get to the servant's closet.
- Will (Nat): The aprons hang on the hooks, the room, the boots are neatly lined up against the wall.
- Will (Nat): You know that there's the secret door that's there that's going to lead to the stairwells down.
- Will (Nat): Do you open the door?
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Iron torch sconces cling to the walls of a stone staircase that cuts its way to the heart of the old house.
- Will (Nat): The stairs are leading down.
- 2Feet (Steph): There are stairs in the floor?
- Will (Nat): So, no, there's stairs.
- Will (Nat): So you're now, like, going down these stairs here.
- Will (Nat): So you're, like, walking down, so you're, let's say, on this turning point inside the land.
- 2Feet (Steph): I go down and I say let the dead stay at rest.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Remain at rest.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You say let the dead remain at rest.
- Will (Nat): Yep.
- Will (Nat): Doot-to-doot.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So you say it?
- 2Feet (Steph): Let the dead remain at rest.
- Will (Nat): You said it right the first time.
- Will (Nat): Let the dead remain at rest.
- 2Feet (Steph): Let the dead remain at rest.
- 2Feet (Steph): Then I go in and I go into the whole.
- Bones (Ben): Check to make sure there's no one.
- 2Feet (Steph): Um, I ask him, could you dig a minor hole that we could reach that?
- Eli (Isaac): I can't, I can't do that.
- Eli (Isaac): No, you can't.
- Eli (Isaac): You can't, but we can't.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, listen.
- Eli (Isaac): So I remember, it was a really thick door.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): And we probably can't hear it.
- 2Feet (Steph): I say, no, we're going upstairs.
- 2Feet (Steph): And I go up.
- Bones (Ben): I mean, I mean, you're here.
- Bones (Ben): You're hearing.
- Bones (Ben): You might roll a dice and see if you can hear it.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): Put your ear on it.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Will (Nat): Put your ear on it.
- Will (Nat): And give me a perception check.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): You don't think you can hear anything.
- Will (Nat): You push open the door.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You push open the door.
- Will (Nat): The flickering candles and the iron holders fill the room with light and shadows.
- Will (Nat): There's still the 10-foot high ceiling and a large black pentagram on the stone floor with the wooden chairs inside there.
- Will (Nat): But there is no one sitting inside the chairs.
- Will (Nat): Now you also see an altar in the center now that you're inside there.
- Will (Nat): I want to look for...
- Will (Nat): Investigate...
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay, give me an investigation check.
- 2Feet (Steph): Like that would be suspicious.
- 2Feet (Steph): Give me an investigation check.
- 2Feet (Steph): Might have something different enough.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Do you have bite holes, by the way?
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): Nice.
- 2Feet (Steph): 15, and then for the investigation, so 17.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You see a bag on top of the altar.
- 2Feet (Steph): I open the bag.
- Will (Nat): Inside the bag, you see what appears to be a hip bone.
- 2Feet (Steph): I take the hip bone, and I use the hip bones.
- 2Feet (Steph): I have a hip bone.
- 2Feet (Steph): I think this is part of the whole hip bones.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): What is like...
- Will (Nat): Is, like, it's just like, uh, bones?
- 2Feet (Steph): Did I keep me?
- Bones (Ben): The thing is, we don't know how many bones are there.
- 2Feet (Steph): I, okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): Did you, did I open it?
- Will (Nat): Yeah, you opened it, and there was, like, a hit bone.
- Will (Nat): No, I'm not.
- Will (Nat): There's no other bones inside there.
- 2Feet (Steph): I have one to your bones.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): But if your bag of holding, is there anything else in that?
- 2Feet (Steph): Then, who is, um, is, um, I, you already did an investigation.
- Will (Nat): There's nothing else inside there.
- 2Feet (Steph): Like on eight minutes.
- Will (Nat): There's nothing else inside the room.
- 2Feet (Steph): I leave and I go upstairs.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): As you leave... Are you leaving to go upstairs or are you leaving to go through the cellar?
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So as you leave, you step onto the sand.
- 2Feet (Steph): Let the dead stay at rest.
- Will (Nat): You already said that you went through.
- Will (Nat): So, we're going to pull this out here.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, no, it's only going to be me fighting so many.
- Will (Nat): You're invisible.
- Bones (Ben): You're invisible right now.
- Bones (Ben): You are still invisible.
- Will (Nat): You are still invisible.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so... Just going to...
- Will (Nat): I'll be all in a few people.
- Will (Nat): We can just look like this.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So, uh, here is the secret...
- Will (Nat): The secret door.
- 2Feet (Steph): So, like, we can draw... Yeah.
- Will (Nat): We can draw it, yeah.
- Will (Nat): It's here and then dute.
- Will (Nat): Uh, doot.
- Will (Nat): And then here's the, like...
- Will (Nat): The pentegrine arm and then the altar and, you know, all that's inside there.
- Will (Nat): Uh, you step forward.
- Will (Nat): As you step forward onto the ground, you hear a low...
- Will (Nat): like grumbling, um, type of noise, and two skeletons come out from the ground.
- Will (Nat): And I'm going to need you to roll your initiative.
- 2Feet (Steph): Well, I'm invisible so they can't attach me.
- Will (Nat): You don't know that yet, we'll find out.
- 2Feet (Steph): Thirteen.
- Bones (Ben): Plus, what, plus?
- Will (Nat): So they're skeletons.
- Will (Nat): They're not armored.
- Will (Nat): They're just skeletons.
- Will (Nat): So you had, what you said?
- Will (Nat): 16.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, actually, so how do you end up with the lock pick or skill?
- Eli (Isaac): I have a very high slated hand.
- Will (Nat): So that's Boulder's Gate.
- Will (Nat): That's not.
- Will (Nat): No, I didn't fit.
- Eli (Isaac): No, it's right here.
- Eli (Isaac): So I figured that my dexterity is high, so I was wondering how you add are able to get that.
- Will (Nat): You get proficiency in lock picking.
- Will (Nat): So that's a, it's another skill.
- Will (Nat): So see how like Isaac has my proficiency.
- Will (Nat): So that thing?
- Will (Nat): No, you can get it as not that, but you need to get lock-picking tools and then proficiency in the skill.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, no.
- Will (Nat): So you can get proficiency in the skill, so you can get proficiency in the skill, so you can get proficient.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, no.
- Will (Nat): So you can get profiting.
- Will (Nat): I think that, um, my dexterity is, uh, close to.
- Eli (Isaac): All right, so.
- Will (Nat): So it is, one skeleton is going to go before you, another skeleton, then you're going to go, and then another skeleton is going to go.
- Will (Nat): And then another skeleton is going to go.
- Will (Nat): So that's, and what did you say yours was?
- Bones (Ben): Why are you in the nether?
- Will (Nat): Doot-do-do-do-do-do.
- Bones (Ben): Why do you need the villager in the nether?
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): Okay, let's see.
- Will (Nat): So the skeletons arose animated with dark magic.
- Will (Nat): Let's see, Ken.
- Will (Nat): So the first skeleton, this one, kind of knows that he was...
- Will (Nat): awoken, so that a trap has been a trip, but does not see you, as you are invisible, and looks towards the open door and kind of, will say, walks forward toward the open door, and that is their action.
- Will (Nat): Now, Eli, it is your turn.
- 2Feet (Steph): Well, I'm going to do.
- 2Feet (Steph): I know what this happened.
- Will (Nat): I'm going to go.
- Will (Nat): First off, are you alerting your party members that, like that?
- 2Feet (Steph): Well, like, hey, I got it, but there were two silencing down here.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): We can't get in there to you.
- Bones (Ben): Can you get out safely?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Do you think you can get out safely?
- 2Feet (Steph): There's a skeleton blocking one.
- Bones (Ben): Can you get around them?
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm going to fight them off.
- Bones (Ben): Well, can you get around them without fighting them first?
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, I could.
- 2Feet (Steph): That would be hard.
- Eli (Isaac): Well, can't you just throw his nose in action, right?
- Will (Nat): He would become visible, but he can do that.
- Will (Nat): You would have advantage on the attack because they can't see it, which would mean that you get a roll twice, take the higher one, and you can get sneak attack on that.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, I'll basically be killing one of them instantly.
- Will (Nat): I'm going to do that, and I'll take my two other ones.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): I, um, 17 plus 18, so 19 or, uh.
- Will (Nat): That was that what, 13?
- 2Feet (Steph): That was that, uh, yeah, it was that 13.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): So 13, so you take that one?
- Will (Nat): So 13 plus, what's your attack?
- 2Feet (Steph): My attack, it was, the 18.
- 2Feet (Steph): was six, so I had 19.
- 2Feet (Steph): 19, okay, so 19's going to hit.
- 2Feet (Steph): Okay, cool.
- 2Feet (Steph): Now I'm going to do a 1d6, plus 4.
- 2Feet (Steph): 3 plus 4, which is 7.
- 2Feet (Steph): And you have a sneak attack.
- 2Feet (Steph): Which is, what is that?
- Bones (Ben): 2D6, I thought.
- 2Feet (Steph): 2D6, so I'll take you.
- 2Feet (Steph): 8, 9.
- 2Feet (Steph): I do 9 damage.
- 2Feet (Steph): What else do I have?
- Will (Nat): So that's your first action.
- 2Feet (Steph): So I have 9.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You've got a bonus action, don't forget.
- 2Feet (Steph): I am going to...
- Will (Nat): So the psychic dagger rips through the skeleton's head, we'll say.
- Will (Nat): And you can see, like, there's a shock in his eyes, or not his eyes, but, like, in his face, like, ah!
- Will (Nat): Because now he knows where you are.
- Will (Nat): But, like, he's very, very stumbled.
- Will (Nat): So, like, if he had blood, he would be very bloodied.
- 2Feet (Steph): I am now going to use my second...
- Will (Nat): Your bonus action, yep.
- 2Feet (Steph): For my second programming dagger, 11 plus his...
- 2Feet (Steph): 17's going to hit?
- 2Feet (Steph): 17's going to hit.
- 2Feet (Steph): Next, we're going to do a 1d4 plus 4, let's hold that.
- 2Feet (Steph): 2 plus 6 damage.
- 2Feet (Steph): 6 plus 9.
- Will (Nat): No, what's the 9?
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, no, the 9 from last time.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, yeah.
- Will (Nat): 6.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so that skeleton crumbles as he goes down.
- 2Feet (Steph): Down, got one.
- Will (Nat): Let's see.
- Will (Nat): Don't worry about this.
- Bones (Ben): We'll be nice down.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, if they beat some TV, I didn't like... That's so silly.
- Bones (Ben): It's not silly, it's me.
- 2Feet (Steph): What?
- Bones (Ben): I need you focus on surviving these skeletons.
- Bones (Ben): I was hoping you take the stealth weight out, but you and... No, no.
- Bones (Ben): You're like, I'm doing this.
- 2Feet (Steph): Again, work to be.
- 2Feet (Steph): I might be able to level it to be a little.
- Bones (Ben): I wish that was the case.
- 2Feet (Steph): You just left up here right now.
- Bones (Ben): That'd make us, um, murder hobos.
- Bones (Ben): That's how it works.
- 2Feet (Steph): I just level up right.
- Bones (Ben): Because if you attack it all the time, and just fight, and fight.
- Bones (Ben): I feel like it's a flash he hit.
- Eli (Isaac): Murder hobo is very specific.
- Bones (Ben): No, my other group are a bunch of people.
- Bones (Ben): They don't like doing this.
- Eli (Isaac): So murder hobo, I always will associate with a shotgun.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, that's very fair.
- Eli (Isaac): But that's what I.
- Bones (Ben): That's what that is.
- Bones (Ben): You're like, you're not trying to roll play.
- Bones (Ben): You're just fighting everything that's in my way.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Now, get ready for you.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Will (Nat): He's seeing you.
- Will (Nat): Du-to-do-do-to-do.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): 510, 15, 20, 25, 30.
- Will (Nat): Engaged with you.
- Will (Nat): The skeleton swings his skeletal hand to kind of like slash at you.
- Bones (Ben): Du-to-do-do-do.
- Bones (Ben): Point-to-order real quick.
- Bones (Ben): You do have protection from undead.
- Bones (Ben): Just so you know.
- Will (Nat): Oh, no, you're protection from good and evil, right?
- Bones (Ben): Well, protection from good and evil is the spell name, but he has protection from... What does it do?
- Bones (Ben): Until the spell ends, which if we're in the 10 minutes, I don't know.
- Bones (Ben): Still are yet.
- Bones (Ben): It is, he is protected against certain types of creatures.
- Bones (Ben): Aberration, celestial, elemental, space, means, and undead.
- Will (Nat): Okay, what does protection mean from it?
- Bones (Ben): The production grant several benefits.
- Bones (Ben): Creatures of those have disadvantage on attack rules against the target.
- Bones (Ben): The target also can't be charm, frightened, or possessed by them.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Bones (Ben): The target is already charm frightened and possessed by such a creature.
- Bones (Ben): That target has a disadvantage and he's disadvantaged.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so he's the weaker of the Duke.
- Will (Nat): Go ahead.
- Will (Nat): Call on that.
- 2Feet (Steph): So if you fail, I get it.
- Will (Nat): So six.
- Will (Nat): So that is going to be a 10.
- Will (Nat): Does 10 hit?
- Will (Nat): No.
- Will (Nat): So he swings and he misses.
- Will (Nat): No, no, it's the less of it.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh.
- Will (Nat): Because you have protection from good and evil on there.
- Will (Nat): Which comes from there.
- Will (Nat): And now, coming back up, four more skeletons pop out from the ground.
- Bones (Ben): So I gave you protection, so every single time they hit you, they're going to have to go out this advantage.
- Bones (Ben): So that's why I wanted you to go out stealth.
- Bones (Ben): I didn't know this was going to happen, but I wanted you just get out.
- Will (Nat): Right, here's something.
- Bones (Ben): We didn't know about them both time.
- Eli (Isaac): No, we didn't know about the protection.
- Eli (Isaac): No, we talked about it.
- Eli (Isaac): I didn't know that.
- Eli (Isaac): I didn't know that.
- Eli (Isaac): So, now, Eli, it is.
- 2Feet (Steph): I will use shield touch on that wrong way right there.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- 2Feet (Steph): No, trust me.
- Will (Nat): So.
- Bones (Ben): No, it's not that.
- Bones (Ben): That's what he ran.
- Bones (Ben): You just attacked and you four came up after killing one.
- Bones (Ben): So are you about to be in a room with a total of eight stealth installed by yourself while the whole point of this mission was stealth?
- Eli (Isaac): Yes.
- Bones (Ben): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): Did they spawn because he killed him?
- Eli (Isaac): No.
- Eli (Isaac): Oh, he won't go done.
- Eli (Isaac): I bet.
- Bones (Ben): No, that's fine.
- Bones (Ben): It's just he's in an engagement where the whole problem is felt.
- Eli (Isaac): No, I agree.
- Eli (Isaac): No, I totally agree, except we're here now.
- Eli (Isaac): And I don't assume that that's what caused.
- Will (Nat): So, I will say, chill touch, what's the max damage that you can get on Chill Touch?
- 2Feet (Steph): The max damage is 1d10 necrotic damage, okay.
- Will (Nat): With star, so I think that's... That means that the star that you have on there is that they can't heal afterwards.
- Will (Nat): So they're not going to be healing.
- Will (Nat): Or what is your, what is your dagger to?
- 2Feet (Steph): Can I say why?
- 2Feet (Steph): If you get an undead target, it also has disadvantage on it.
- Will (Nat): It already did because you have the protection from good needles.
- Will (Nat): Well, now I have double-digital.
- Will (Nat): No such thing.
- Eli (Isaac): But that is a good thought.
- Eli (Isaac): It's a good thought.
- Eli (Isaac): But won't use my... No, but, yeah, so just, like, because I'm not, I don't disagree with him that you should just get out of here, but you've got to address the skeleton before you do that.
- 2Feet (Steph): So, yeah.
- Will (Nat): So you can, you can engage.
- Will (Nat): You as a rogue have the ability to do a cunning action disengage.
- Will (Nat): So that's a bonus action to disengage.
- Will (Nat): So you can get out of this fight and try and run.
- Will (Nat): And then you can use an action to dash so that that would give you twice the movement.
- Eli (Isaac): And you can just come up the stairs and try and make your way back.
- Eli (Isaac): And as you do that, can you put your hat back on?
- Eli (Isaac): No, that would be another action.
- Will (Nat): So you can either dash or you can put the cat back on.
- Eli (Isaac): because I think that his movement will get him up the stairs, will it?
- Bones (Ben): What's your movement?
- Will (Nat): Because he's going to have to go around.
- Will (Nat): You can't go, like, you can't go through.
- Will (Nat): Oh, what's like that?
- Will (Nat): So 5, 10, 50, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60.
- Will (Nat): Why can't can't go up here?
- Bones (Ben): You can't.
- Bones (Ben): It's a lot to seller go, so you have to do an action to pick it and get out.
- 2Feet (Steph): Well, I can't one, I can't do five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'll be up here.
- Eli (Isaac): No, but you're dashing.
- Eli (Isaac): If you're dashing.
- Eli (Isaac): 3540.
- Eli (Isaac): Remember, you can't go diagonal.
- Eli (Isaac): Diagonal is a possibility.
- Eli (Isaac): No, but I will say that if you unlock the tour, we can help you, but that is going to cause a lot more ruckus.
- Eli (Isaac): But don't forget, you can go diagonally.
- 2Feet (Steph): Yeah, I can't get very much up.
- Eli (Isaac): Let's see.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, yeah, kind of action, disengaged, okay, that's your bonus action.
- 2Feet (Steph): Five.
- 2Feet (Steph): Why are you going that way?
- Eli (Isaac): He's running it's the cellar door.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, but why is it going that way?
- 2Feet (Steph): Between everybody.
- Will (Nat): Well, let's see.
- Will (Nat): So, five, ten, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty, twenty, twenty, twenty.
- Bones (Ben): Are you dashing or are you not dashing?
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm not going to dash.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm going to put my...
- 2Feet (Steph): So why don't you put the cap on first?
- Will (Nat): Put the cap on first.
- 2Feet (Steph): Oh, yeah.
- 2Feet (Steph): I put the cap on first.
- Will (Nat): Connie action disengage.
- Will (Nat): Yeah.
- Will (Nat): So now they don't necessarily...
- Will (Nat): They saw that you were here.
- Will (Nat): So they don't know where you were.
- Will (Nat): And you're behind the walls and the stairs actually are in the stairwell.
- Will (Nat): So that's the... Yeah, it's a railing.
- Will (Nat): It's not like a hallway, but there.
- Will (Nat): This one is like...
- Will (Nat): This is more of a hallway kind of going this way.
- Will (Nat): This is just the railings coming up from there.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so let's see.
- Will (Nat): That was that, so the one here saw that you were there, swiped at you, completely missing.
- Will (Nat): Now, let's see.
- Will (Nat): Swipes there, kind of looks around, looks around.
- Will (Nat): and looks around okay Eli back to you lock pick okay so now here's what we're gonna do first things first I need a stealth roll to see if you can do this quietly yep okay so you're still invisible but you have made a noise in the lockpicking so now the skeletons know where you are they're coming there now you are under stress right now so I want you to at disadvantage
- Will (Nat): lock pick the door i'll give you this way that you know what it is the difficulty counter on this lock is a 10 so you need to get like to roll both the dice because you got to make i know i'm going one and i'm going together that increase 13 okay i mean higher than three or higher because i think here's the seven plus it okay so you need four or higher six all right so i'm just going to throw this one out there for you isaac as well
- Will (Nat): Do you have the book?
- Will (Nat): The book is here.
- Will (Nat): Oh, if you just like I'm going to be robed?
- Will (Nat): No.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): You didn't need to do this, but this is useful for you to know about the robe class that you are.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): I want you to read the sigh bolstered knack rule.
- Will (Nat): You can read that a lot.
- 2Feet (Steph): I don't want it.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): But it's useful for everyone else to know this way they can also remind you on it.
- Eli (Isaac): Do you read it out last?
- Eli (Isaac): I know this.
- 2Feet (Steph): Definitely.
- 2Feet (Steph): I agree with a belief.
- 2Feet (Steph): If you fail the ability check using a scalar type of your proficiency, you can roll one sound like die and add the number roll to the check, potentially turning failure into success.
- 2Feet (Steph): Dyes expanded only as the roll sent to C.
- Will (Nat): So you've managed to unlock the door.
- Will (Nat): So what that means is that if you were to have failed that check, you could use one of your psionic dice, which you have, I forget how many you have, I think it's like two times your proficiency, but I'm not positive on that.
- Will (Nat): You have to look it up.
- Will (Nat): It is a D6, so you have four, so two times your proficiency, D6, and that you would be able to use to increase the score that you had to potentially turn a failure into a success.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so you've managed to unlock the door, you've got movement, and you've got...
- Will (Nat): 30 movement, or I guess you were here, so 5, 10, so you've got 20 more movement.
- 2Feet (Steph): What are you doing?
- Will (Nat): I have 25.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Sure.
- Will (Nat): What are you doing?
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm going to use, I say, I've unlocked the cellar door.
- Eli (Isaac): Are you running?
- 2Feet (Steph): Are you fighting?
- 2Feet (Steph): I am staying in that area.
- 2Feet (Steph): But I'm staying there.
- Bones (Ben): Why do we want to fight, is what I'm kind of getting there.
- 2Feet (Steph): I'm staying there is because if they come up, I have high around.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, but I think what he's trying to get you to do is to leave and close.
- 2Feet (Steph): I close, I close, I close the door.
- Bones (Ben): Okay, so you've exited.
- Bones (Ben): Do we want to bring the skeletons out to be open, though?
- Bones (Ben): It's what I would also get out too, which is an interesting thing.
- Bones (Ben): We could have.
- Bones (Ben): They might not come out.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, they might not come out.
- Will (Nat): They might not come out.
- Will (Nat): They could be locked into the area.
- Will (Nat): All right, cool.
- Will (Nat): So you guys now have a set of a hip bone, and you guys have exited out of the house.
- Will (Nat): And, yeah, so we'll say that in this time period, two feet who is on guard kind of watching the area, down the road sees the lady watcher, watch there, excuse me, and the entourage that she was with, starting to walk back up.
- Eli (Isaac): My phone, guys.
- Eli (Isaac): You still have your hat on and you just kind of go.
- Bones (Ben): All right.
- Bones (Ben): Want to ask Father Lucian when we get back to the church.
- Bones (Ben): when we're in private.
- Bones (Ben): Let's just go straight.
- 2Feet (Steph): I would like that's probably.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Were there more bones when you got the head?
- Eli (Isaac): I think there's probably more places being designed.
- Will (Nat): No.
- Will (Nat): Thank you for returning the bones to the altar.
- Will (Nat): He takes them, brings them down into the basement.
- Will (Nat): The bones?
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, the bones.
- Bones (Ben): Now what I imagine is they're going to be trying to recapture the hips now.
- Bones (Ben): Probably.
- Bones (Ben): So what we need to.
- Bones (Ben): be on guard.
- Bones (Ben): We're talking to him right now.
- Will (Nat): So you return the bone dome.
- Will (Nat): The father is incredibly thankful for the return of the bones.
- Will (Nat): He says that he will work harder to ensure that they are not stolen again, puts new locks on, does kind of all of the things.
- Will (Nat): And the church now, you feel the warm embrace of light and holiness.
- Will (Nat): coming from within the church.
- Bones (Ben): I would say we probably just spend the night here.
- Bones (Ben): We may not still have a place there, but if they were broken again.
- Bones (Ben): If they were taken once or they can be taken again, I don't think we can assume.
- Will (Nat): Well, he says that the...
- Will (Nat): Do you have space for us for tonight?
- Will (Nat): There's no space.
- Will (Nat): There's still space at the end.
- Bones (Ben): I was going to say no, but I was going to say we have four beds at the end.
- Bones (Ben): We can have someone here at the church take our rooms while we stay here to protect the bones.
- Will (Nat): Sure.
- Will (Nat): You can do that.
- Will (Nat): So you take four children.
- Will (Nat): You leave them over to the end.
- Will (Nat): Inside the inn, there are, as you get to the room,
- Will (Nat): You leave the children into the room.
- Will (Nat): You actually, well, let's step this back up.
- Will (Nat): You want to buy another room for that night.
- Will (Nat): Yep.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so that's another two.
- Eli (Isaac): I go up and I give them three gold points.
- Eli (Isaac): It was one per night.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, yeah.
- Bones (Ben): Yeah, so do them again.
- Eli (Isaac): So I go up and I give them three gold point again.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): And can you please give these kids all the food and drink things?
- Eli (Isaac): He does?
- Eli (Isaac): He does.
- Will (Nat): He says, while you were gone.
- Will (Nat): A well-dressed man came and provided this letter specifically to the outsiders who are in town, and he hands you a letter.
- Will (Nat): Inside it, it says, My brave outlanders, I commend your valiance in restoring the spirits of the Laki's good people.
- Will (Nat): Enjoy your sanctuary while its life endures.
- Will (Nat): The night is long, and we shall meet soon.
- Will (Nat): Basilie von Holtz.
- Will (Nat): First time I heard that name.
- Will (Nat): No, it's not.
- Bones (Ben): No, it's not.
- Will (Nat): He was in the carriage that was coming to say, to give his respects to the Bergenmaster in the other town, Borovia, and Leona and whatever her name was,
- Will (Nat): said that she had recognized that he was a nobleman from the area, from the town that we are in, Milwaukee.
- Will (Nat): Okay.
- Will (Nat): Irina, that's right.
- Will (Nat): Ah, had told you that as the cart went by, and she had recognized that it probably belonged to him.
- Eli (Isaac): Okay.
- Eli (Isaac): And then we leave the kids there, and then go over to the... Yeah, good time to know.
- Eli (Isaac): in the session.
- Will (Nat): Yeah, that's what I was going to.
- Will (Nat): There's one more thing, though.
- Will (Nat): You guys...
- Bones (Ben): Remember what Rectavio told me to do to go to the stable or the... We were to 60, 50.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah, but that's when we leave.
- Eli (Isaac): Yeah.
- Eli (Isaac): Because we can't go.
- Eli (Isaac): We won't be able to go there and come back tonight.
- Eli (Isaac): It was outside of time.
- Eli (Isaac): But when we went, we have to go there.
- Will (Nat): So, Father welcomes you back into the church, and you guys fall asleep on the pews.
- Will (Nat): The morning sun arises and you all feel a bit stronger, a bit wiser, a bit more experienced, and you have all made it to level five for successfully preventing the feast of the endless.
- Eli (Isaac): The initiative goes up by one as well.
- Will (Nat): No, it doesn't.
- Eli (Isaac): I will take care.
- Bones (Ben): I want to make Yoshi.
- Bones (Ben): I can print new copies right now.
- Will (Nat): I can print out new copies right now.
- Will (Nat): Okay, so let's... Yeah, I get...
- Bones (Ben): Stay at level two spells.
- Bones (Ben): Why?
- Will (Nat): End of session nine.
